afm so i was thinking of going out and running errands today, but then i looked out and saw it was raining, and i decided that one more day of resting would be the better choice! i dont want to ever wonder "what if" for this cycle. i am doing everything i can to make this successful. i was thinking of going to acupuncture today, but even driving makes me not want to go. maybe tomorrow..i'll be 3dp2dt and my lil embie will be at blast...acupuncture might help more tomorrow. idk....i just dont wanna go out haha i'm soooo lazy now. even though i'm bored i dont want to do anything! i did get some bending in today when i woke up and went downstairs to get a drink, and found out that piper got into the garbage after DH went to work, and decided to spread it all over the kitchen and livingroom!! thats always fun to wake up to hahaha he's lucky he's cute!!
i hope everyone is having a great day, and a wonderful weekend....does anyone have any fun plans? i'm gonna be chillin at home....maybe i'll go see a movie!!

Oh dear sorry abour your dog leaving you with a mess to clean up... I used to breed cats and they never did that but got ___ stock on their bum that was no fun cause they were persians...

So I read that the test is NOT accurate so I won't be getting it... why get my hopes up if it's wrong???

So I will try and find one elsewhere... There the old Red Cabbage Gender Predictor Test you can find everywhere online and so I might do that for fun

Winnie So sorry your embie didn't make it to transfer. I know you must feel very disappointed but I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the insurance wont count this as a full cycle and you will get to try again. We are here if you need us!

Franny How are you feeling? Did you name your embie yet? My DH and I have been calling our's Journey and Rueben. My MIL has been trying to convience me for 2 years to name our daughter Journey after her favorite band. I asked what she would want to name it if its a boy and she said she'd name it after her favorite dish that I make for her. Rueben sandwiches! I figured we would humor her until we found out what we are having for sure.

KushkaDon't fret that your embies weren't perfect. Mine were both B's of average quality and I still got a bfp. Just have faith and you will too.

Bei Any word from RE about your AF? Is he going to give you the Provera?

Lauren I think prime uterine thickness is above 7 and below 15. I'd check with your RE because Im not sure if its different for FET's.

Since this is very important to me and I don't want to have douts I went for the big one: http://www.tellmepinkorblue.com/
It's the most accurate and I have already purshaced it.. It cost $219 US so like $250 for me... but hey I work hard and make good money I can afford it. I don't spend in clothes or shoes so bad my dh said when we get this new place with the saving we are going to have I am bringing you shopping and you will look decent even pregnant... that's enough PLUS I did a natural cycle so absolutly NO MEDs cost or monitoring or anything other then transfer which was already paid so I paid nothing this year

So this test uses blood samples so I know it's going to work and be true results. I can do it starting April 25th so by the time it gets here and I move I will do it after that just to make sure it's after the date.

I will of course let you know the results and see if it is indeed accurate at the anatomy scan ...

Isn't it fun to do IVF we get to wait for follies, embies, 2ww, HPT, Betas, U/S to see how many and finally U/S for the gender and then birth to see if all this is true?? What a fun game of waiting...

teresa i have everything crossed so tight for your beta to double today!! the waiting is torture!! we didnt really name our embie yet...last time we named him poopo (PUPO) so we've been going back and forth between poopo 2.0, and just "embie"! my mom said not to name it this time because she thinks it made it hurt even more last time when i got BFN. so we still have time, and if we come up with a better name i'll let you know (and just not tell my mom haha)
thats great that you are using your MIL's crazy names for your embies so you dont have to use them for the baby hahaha

Teresa - they are thawing our embies the day of the transfer (beginning of May) - I start my estrogen patches on Tuesday (never done that before so hopefully it goes Ok). i'm looking forward to doing the transfer but not waiting to find out if it works. ha! I guess the great things in life are worth waiting for (just keep telling yourself that Ashley)!

Hey everyone! So I started having some spotting this morning (rust colored, then turned pink later), which freaked me out. I didn't feel a lot of symptoms yesterday and then this. So I called RE and they brought me in for an u/s. And the verdict is....

TWINS!! AHHH!!! Beginning freak out mode now!

Baby A looked great, measuring right on target at 6w5d with a hr of 119. Baby B was further back and a little harder to get to, and measured 6w1d with a hr of 110. Could have implanted later, could be a boy and a girl, could end up with vanishing twins. Too early to tell, but for now both look great and there was no bleeding around the placentas.

I am SOOO happy we were able to go in today and not wait for Monday. Feeling good, but the reality that I will have four kids is definitely scary! Thankfully DH said a while ago that we can get help if it's twins, so that's good. Glad I am not starting DS in kindergarten this year (he's a late birthday, so I want him to be the oldest, not the youngest, when he starts). I plan to do a homeschool/private school hybrid (3 days of private school, 2 of homeschool), and that would have been pretty hard with infants.

ANYWAY, that's the exciting news here! CRAAAAAAAZY!!!

Franca - I had FOUR sex dreams from the the time I started stims until now. DH and I have had sex twice and let me tell ya...didn't take me long! HA! Now I guess we need to take a break for a while because of the spotting, but it's been nice

You are so right... I have been on these boards since summer 2008 and yes it is very sad and hurtful all those BNF with so much effort on all the ladie's part... It's emotional and not always happy endings... If at least we knew we would eventually have a baby in the end it would be worth it...
