HI everyone,
Gi, whoww I hope everything is okay with your baby. I am scared for you. Try to relax (I know, easy to say...) and go see the OB or RE so you can feel better when they confirm everything is good with your baby. I am thinking of you....

Steph, I know about the Junior thing...I am so glad my DH has always hated his name (got after is Grandfather) so definitly no Jr. for us. Hopefully you get 2 girls...I hope you move soon so its one stress you can put behind you. I hate the waiting periods..

Lou, I checked your hotel in Paris, location is great (very high-end area) and you wont go bad with a 4 star hotel. You are next to the metro Line 1 (which is the one that cover all the important site) and next to the RER line..Perfect... No matter where is Paris, the metro is less than 2 blocks away. Roland Garros is in the suburb I believe but metro accessible. Enjoy your trip...Let me know if you have questions, my dad lives in Paris so I have been there many times...

Ronda, sorry about the m/s..hopefully it gets better soon

Katie: Cannot wait for tomorrow

Hazel: Dubai whaooo, sounds very exotic and far and beautiful and...pls take me with you.... :D Enjoy for us and think of the people stuck where they are...

Riley: congrats on the baby girl...

Claud: congrats on seeing the hb. This is great...enjoy your pregnancy... and I hope the m/s will not be too strong for you..

Malya and Olim: welcome to the board, cannot wait to hear your stories.

AFM: many things today again. First, I am getting paranoid because I have a feeling my boobs got smaller and my stomach is also definitatly smaller (I can close my pants with no problems now...) Hopefully It is because I went to the bathroom after being constipated for 4 days (sorry TMI) but why did my boobs got smaller. Cannot wait for monday for the next u/s
Second, I went to the interview, I was not very enthousiast because I asked when was they busy season and guess what??? It is from November to March. They need me to travel at least once a month during this period and expect me to be super busy. Well this is the time I am thinking of taking off because my EDD is Nov 14. I wanted to take 3 months leave until feb 2011. So I did not say anything except that I am available, I did not tell them about the pregnancy but I think if they make me an offer, I will have to tell them before to accept the position no? What do you think? If they expect me to be busy and travel from Nov to March, well it wont happen because I wont be there. And this is a very small company (12 people total where everyone depends on each other...)Oh well I guess this is meant to be.
Otherwise everything is good, I have my energy back (another reason why I am getting paranoid)...

Wow you all sure were busy little typists today
I guess that I should have kept my big mouth shut - as soon as I posted that I was feeling too good I had some weird pressure and twinges today.
Well that it was pretty hot here today and I was playing "dog soccer" which usually entails me kicking the ball and then me and the dogs running to try to get the ball.
I cant imagine how you're so active Lou - I was wiped out pretty darn quick

Lou Whhoo hoo for your vacation! Enjoy every moment of it as it'll be a while before your next one  And wow does that hotel look great!
What could be better than Paris in the springtime?

Steph yep, I remember that part of Army life - the "hurry up and wait" ugh! At least you have a good idea of which house will be yours. But I feel the same way - I like to have a mental picture so I can start planning where things will go - hey, it beats you trying different locations while the guys groan that you want them to move it yet again, doesnt it? YAY for seeing your bump! With 2 little ones in there you knew you'd show early. How are you dealing with the heat in TX?

Claudia Hope the accupuncture helps your m/s - I know it helped Hazel alot. Maybe its time to put up curtains in your office window? Sorry but thats all I have for ideas today.

Riley Go team Pink!!! But how did you ever find out so early? Was it just a lucky time for a u/s? Congrats!!!

Gi You know I always have you in my prayers. I'm hoping that its nothing more than your cervix getting irritated from the Crinone.I've had that happen also. But with your past m/c's I think you should absolutely let your RE know and hope that he'll book another scan so you can feel better. Dont feel like you're bothering the clinic either - its what they do. Crossed for you as always - xoxo

Hazel YAY for the 16th! You just gotta love u/s days, right? Now that I think of it, I do believe I remember you feeling good out of the blue around 11wks
I feel the same way too - I kind of think I may jinx something if i even take a peek at baby things - never mind think of names! Unfortunately it would be good for me to check out some baby things since it'll take me awhile to figure them out! hee hee I do think it will take a long time for DH & me to decide on a name we both can agree on (or maybe I'll just remind him how long it took to name the puppy  ) love you too - yes the list done by EDd's is a good idea - but I dont have time to redo it tonight, maybe tomorrow?

Malya my 1st OB appt was at 10w6d and I didnt get a u/s either. And boy did I want one! I think you would have if you werent coming from the care of a specialist. That was the impression I got. I asked him to do a Dopplar to listen for the HB, but he said it was too early, so he tried anyway, but no luck, he said that by 14wks you should be able to hear it. My progesterone didnt increase for 4 weeks, What has your RE thought? Was he concerned about it? I think not everyone's body is on the same schedule, some are on their own timetable. Crossed for Mondays u/s

Positive thanks but my u/s isnt until next Friday the 16th. I wish it was tomorrow though. UGH so busy season is Nov to March? that sucks. In light of that info - I hate to agree but yes, it sounds like you will have to tell them if they offer you the position. With just 12 employess, its not likely that someone can cover for you unfortunately. Sorry, honey.

hugs & prayers to us all - xoxoxo

Today never slowed down and now it's about over! Since I'm typing on my phone, I'll be brief.

I think I mentioned on my cycle board, but I Worked for my OB for years and the same nurse is still there and we are dear friends. That coupled with my subchorionic hemorrhage has allowed me at least 5 u/s since being released to him. She saw very clearly the genitals at 12 weeks and 3 days, but couldn't differentiate. The sono tech is also one of my closest friends. Because I started bleeding again Monday and it hadn't stopped they had me come back in yesterday and she knew immediately. It is normal that you can physically are the parts at this stage, most docs just make you wait to be on the safe side.

So, that's how we found out. It's really not that early, I'm just having many more sonos and appts than most!
Me - 32 - no issues
DH - 36 - low count

hi lovelies... ;)

i hope this beautiful friday finds you all well. the last 3 days for me have been wonderful by comparison to my last few weeks. i'm still feeling some m/s - but NOTHING like before. i think it is finally beginning to dwindle down.
Image

gi - hon, i'm so thinking of you and praying that all of this is just a little bump in the road for you and your baby is doing just fine. i agree with katie thou... i def think you should err on the side of caution and be SURE that everything is ok with docs. hang in there and hold on to that pma - your baby needs it!!

katie - i'm with you on not knowing HOW in the WORLD lou does it... but i guess for a total a gym rat, it's a bit easier. i remember the days when i worked out daily - ah... i wonder if it will ever come back again...? in the mean time, just thinking about running around with the dogs wears me out!! but, i guess i have been doing a little running about with DS - and it certainly does not last as long as it used to - mommy just runs out of steam. :( thankfully, he won't remember these days ;) hope all is well with you my dear - i've been thinking about you a lot lately - still thinking about my snowbabies... and what to do. my DH is having serious reservations about giving them up - for donation, adoption or anything... and even after this one, we can't do any FETs until i stop breastfeeding (at least doc says i can't - because the lactation can block pregnancy - but people do it all the time - right?) uh, i don't know... it's such a HUGE decision... but keeping you in my mind is helping me, for one, adapt to the possibility of donation or adoption.... i am still so happy for you.

Riley- congrats on finding out about baby GIRL!!! YAY! everyone in my family is hoping for girl, except DH. ;) this will be his 5th child - and 1-4 are all boys. I seriously, just want a healthy baby - pink or blue! ;) but what a WONDERFUL treat to find out so early - sorry that it has come about through having the bleeding and subsequent ton of u/s to check up - but sounds like all is going well and baby (and mommy) are doing just fine! :D yay! - oh and btw - they told us about our DS at our 12 wk nuchal scan last time - though they said "we can't swear by it" but - we pretty much knew - so i guess they just want to be safe -than sorry! ;)

Positive - don't worry about the body changes - i know it's hard not to analyze every single change - but try to relax - Monday will be here before you know it. :) UGH about the job & the busy season... i think you'll have to tell 'em if they offer - 12 ppl is so small - ugh... and you certainly can't be traveling when baby is so young. :( i got a new job when i was pg with DS- but i was huge - already 7 1/2 months - so they knew what they were getting into - plus - it was really just a diff job within the same giant place (I work for the county) - so I already had tenure and leave saved up - so it wasn't a big deal. i'm sure you'll work something out - or find another job that will be better for you - good luck!!

malya - i woudn't worry about not hearing h/b or getting pics - :( i think you may just have an ob that isn't thinking about providing u with these things that calm and comfort a mom! I'M SURE the h/b was there and fine - he HAD to have checked for it - the goober just didn't share it with you.... and rude to not give u pics. :( I'd definitely ask if you can get 'em next time. My OB only does 1 us in the office - at the first visit - and we did get pics - and hear the hb - but we also had my DSS, DS, and DH in the room - so they were sure to give them the "show" - plus i have a female ob - and I think sometimes they are a little more in touch with those things... i dunno. best of luck, tho - hang in there and don't worry!!

Hazel - haha - baby names. with ds - my dh didnt' want to name him until we KNEW for sure, and then we found that we couldn't make a decision - and when we did - we weren't going to tell the boys or the family - it was going to be a surprise... and then we found ourselves making the final decision in the OR after my c-section!! I told him, this time... we are NOT waiting until i'm on drugs! - don't get me wrong - i love my son's name - and pretty much had decided before that's what i wanted, but it was WAY too weird deciding then. i think waiting a while is ok tho - i totally get the attachment thing. ;)

Claudia- congrats on seeing the HB!!! yay!! wonderful news. not so wonderful about the m/s - i can TOTALLY feel your pain, sister! hope the acupuncture helps. i found that not much of anything - even chemo-patient-strength anti-nausea meds did much more than "take the edge off" - but hopefully your's will be short-lived. i know what u mean about trying to hide it at work.. fortunately, most of the ppl at my work know - so i haven't had to hide it from many folks, but a few have even guessed, due to the lovely shade of green that i apparently turn. Image - so i wish i had some tips for you, but i'm afraid i just had to stick it out, it's been the only thing i could do. :( feeling for you.....

steph - congrats on hitting double digits! :) I'm right behind u! I will be 10 wks on Sunday. YAY on the bump! unfortunately, mine looks like i'm about 4 months. i'm serious, it has popped out like nobody's business... frightening!! No worries about the bleeding... don't let it bother you. hang in there for your little munchkins!!

lou - if ur ob is like mine, they'll do an u/s!! I hope so!! so sorry dh can't be there. we just lucked out that my dss could be. he was so thrilled. i was afraid he'd feel awkward - since it was the intravaginal - but they covered me well and i don't think he even knew - plus - they had 2 screens in the room - one for the doc - and a second set up by the wall - so they weren't even facing my direction to see the baby! it was great. I really hope you get to see a wave too!!! Have a wonderful and SAFE trip!! I'm sure you will have a BALL! Here's to maintained energy and no m/s while you're gone!!
Image

Ronda - sorry to hear m/s is kicking your butt too. :( it's really the WORST part!!!! I told dh - i'd rather be the size of a house for longer than have to deal with this... it's just awful. hoping it lets up soon. ha ha about the hair color - i have to get mine done too... was going to try not to - didn't with ds - but the greys are getting bad - :( i think it's the m/s fault!! we'll blame it on that anyway!! hope you feel better soon!! hugs!

sorry for those i've missed - this is as far back as the review goes and I can't remember everything that's been going on - too much to keep up with!

quick topic of conversation - since this is my 2nd child - and my first was born via c-section (thank GOD! - he had the cord around his neck 5 times!!) - anyway - my OB has given me the choice of planned c-section or trying to do vaginal birth. If i do planned - of course, i can decide the day - any week day up to a week before my due date - and i can have my family here (they live out of town) and we can arrange for childcare - etc. - but if we do decide on another FET - then ALL subsequent births will HAVE to be c-section. I recovered from my c-section brilliantly last time - it really wasnt' bad - at least i didn't think so. - plus i feel like since i already have the scar - why potentially scar up my ho-ha as well?! - episiotomies scare me. --- and - if i do choose vaginal - and don't go into labor on my own before my due date, they will not induce - because that can cause the scar to rupture. they will then go ahead with a c-section anyway. i just dunno, but i think i am leaning toward c-section --- any thoughts?

hugs to all!!

Hope - Nice topic! I can be long winded so be prepared. lol If it were me, I would want to experience natural birth, even if it were medicated because it is a beautiful experience to see your baby being born and to hold them right afterwards. I don't talk about it, but I have had three natural births. (I only have my DD though, won't go into details) I had a long labor with my first one so they pressured me into an epidural so I didn't feel anything, I had an episiotomy then. Second one came along, I was scared shitless to go through the pushing part, I was begging for the epidural, but the anesthesiologist took too long. For me, the pushing and the baby coming out was nothing compared to the labor pains. Same thing with DD, begged for edidural, didn't come in time but what I did learn... I prefer an episiotomy because after the last two, it burned for days to pee! I ripped everywhere and they couldn't stitch it in a lot of places, and to me... it doesn't look quite right. If I could go back, I would tell them to cut me because tearing is so much worse and they can fix you right back up the way you were. Soo... if you choose to go through with ole naturale... don't be afraid of giving birth, it's the labor pains that hurt the worst, in my humble opinion. As for chances of uterine rupture, you only have a 1% chance. For some that 1% is too high and they don't want to risk it, but if you do a c-section twice, no chance for natural later since the rupture rate goes up to 7% or higher and docs don't like to take that chance. Going natural also has a faster healing time and your belly will go back to normal faster. I am carrying twins now and I know they might want to do a c-section on me, but I am scared to go through it. I'm scared of the pressure, being drugged up and forgetting my babies' birth (which some women do), afraid of throwing up, having a bad healing experience and of course, scared of a scar. I will do whatever I have to in order to make sure they are safe though. DH also would like to experience natural childbirth, these are his first babies. What are you leaning towards and your reasons?? Anyway.. warned you about how I can be long winded. lol I truly enjoy real conversation pieces though. Love hearing people opinions on everything including controversial topics. :)

Riley - You lucky mommy you! I have been bleeding forever and I don't get so many scans. I am only offered one by my RE if I bleed heavy or red again. I suppose I could lie?? lol Not like I haven't done that before, like when I went to the ER the first time. Part of me is scared to do a scan though, I have all the hopes that everything is fine but that one part of me is scared it won't be.

Katie - The weather here in Texass (yes I meant to spell it that way) is not that hot yet. Some days it has been in the 80's but I haven't really been out on those hotter days. Been nice spring weather, not too hot not too cold. Soon enough it will be like a desert though and all the bugs will come out of the woodwork. ICK! :x Glad we will be getting out of this housing and going to the better ones before they do!

Positive - I am actually hoping for 2 boys! That way he can have his junior and I can have the boy name I really want. lol I have been so set on this one boy name so I wonder if my insticts are telling me I am having a boy or two? I don't like the junior idea, but I can live with it. Still going to try and talk him out of it though. If we get two girls I will be happy too.. just want healthy of course!

Malya - Must admit, that is a cool due date! I have asked for a picture for every scan I have gotten, even the ones in the ER and they don't really like to do that. They aren't that great of a picture, but I got them anyway. I would say something if he is goign to fast. On every visit he should be listening to the heartbeat and so should you. I think it is odd that he didn't let you hear.

Riley -- Wow... you're so lucky how you were able to find out the sex of your baby already! Now you can start planning appropriately. Congrats on your girl! And of course, I would have said "Congrats on your boy" had it been a boy because both are awesome.

Gi -- I'm thinking of you hun and praying like heck that the spotting you saw is nothing. I understand how scared you must be with your history. Please keep us posted.

Hazel -- Baby names? You mean I have to name it? The nurse doesn't just pick something out of a book? lol.... j/k. That's just soooo far off my radar right now. We'll come up with something probably a month or two before he/she is here!

Malya -- 10/10/10 is a cool due date! I have a cousin that was born 8/8/88.... and I was married 9/9/95. So why not?

Positive -- Thanks for the Paris tips/advice. Here's the other hotel we're considering... http://www.mercure.com/gb/hotel-1598-me ... ndex.shtml. We still haven't completely decided except that it will for sure be a 4 star. I really wish I spoke some french. I do speak quite a bit of spanish so I can read some french. Any advice how to talk to the french when you don't speak any french? I feel like I'm supposed to try but that I butcher their beautiful language to the point it's offensive! My mind is playing the same tricks on me with the disappearing/absent symptoms. I'm hoping that's all normal and everything is fine. It has to be after all this, right? As for your job interview with the travel expectations. Unless they specifically asked you in the interview if you have any issues traveling at least once per month during the months of November through March, I would keep my mouth shut. If they did ask that question, then you have to tell them, but it will probably cost you the job. They can't not hire you because you are pregnant but they can not hire you because you are unable to fulfill the requirements of the job during the time they need you most. However, if hired and they haven't asked you prior to hire, then they CANNOT fire you because you are pregnant nor can they block you from taking your 12 weeks off. Depends how you play it. Good luck!

Katie -- How are you feeling? I guess I'm active because I've always been active and it's actually more effort for me to sit still than it is to do my thing. But like I said, I've slowed down. I did a spin class for an hour yesterday and then went up to do pull-ups. I used to be able to squeek out 10. I did 8 yesterday. I'm going to do them twice a week to see when I start to really fail and can't do even 2! People at the gym are noticing that I "look a little softer" (aka fatter). I said "well good, because I'm pregnant!". SURPRISE!

Hope -- Glad your feeling better. Thanks for the cute "bon voyage". I'm so excited to go! As for the c-section dilemma, that's entirely your decision of course. As for me, I actually hope I do not need a c-section because according to my trainer, it's easier to get the abs back into shape if they aren't cut. Either way you look at it, there's healing to do one way or another! Since you've already had the section, it sounds like it might work better for you. Good luck with your decision.

Steph -- How are things going? How exciting that you can see a clear bump already! I guess it's bound to happen soon with twins in there. I definitely have a poochy lower tummy now but unless I take my clothes off, it's not noticeable to anyone but me. I am definitely looking forward to showing off a bump when I get it!

AFM -- Working a double shift again tonight. Only one more in two weeks then I'm done with that. I've got tennis in the morning that I'm looking forward to. Also hoping to hear back from my travel agent on our vacation plans. I'm counting the weeks.... 6 more to go until the "baby moon"!

JUST FOR FUN

Oh, does anyone want to play a game? A couple of my chinese friends brought up their "Gender Prediction Chart" to me. This web site makes it simple, you plug in your age and month conceived and it tells you if you're having a girl or a boy. Obviously we need to modify the "rules" to fit us IVF patients, hehe.

Katie -- I think we should use your age here (since you might not know the age of your donor) and just subtract the # of days your embies were frozen on from your transfer date (since you might not know the month of fertilization either). We've got a 50% chance of being right!

Those with TWINS -- Well, it only gives one answer so perhaps that means at least one of your babies will be this sex (?)

Those with a FET -- Use the age you were when the eggs were fertilized and the month the eggs were fertilized in before freezing.

I tried it for me with age 37 and February as the conception month and it said "GIRL". We shall see, right? I wonder how accurate this will be for this group as a whole. If you do it.... post your results! Here's the link!

Hi Ladies,

Gi=I am really hoping for the best for you and that this was just normal spotting. Please go see an RE if you are nervous so you don't work yourself up into a frenzy.

Lou-Your trip to Paris & Prague sounds amazing! I loved Prague when I went backpacking through Europe in college!!! So you have my interest-what is the website that your featured in a bikini! you can make us all feel jealous since I too used to have a six pack before my 1 1/2 year long journey with infertility!! I am not allowed back yet to the gym because of the bleeding but I'm excited to go swimming (I was a swimmer) and to do pre-natal yoga!!!

Hope-I don't have experience with any type of labor but if you trust your OB and feel they will do everything in their best interest to do a natural birth I would go with that...if you have to do an emergency c-section at least you know you tried all your alternatives beforehand.

Riley-that is so exciting to find out so early!!! My DH and I decided we aren't going to find out (although before IVF I always said I wanted to know) but figured this whole thing is so planned out and our family hasn't had the opportunity to have a surprise we are going to wait until birth to find out!!!

Katie-so glad you are feeling a little better and you must be counting the days unitl next Friday for your scan!!! Good luck mamma!!

AFM...I woke up last night at around 4:00 and knew that Iwas bleeding. I went to the bathroom and had some red blood on my underpants and when I wiped. I kept waking up every hour to check and it went to just spotting a few hours later and when I called the nurse she said to come in only if it gets a lot worse or I get bad cramping. So as of now I'm OK but why am I getting tested like this?!?! haven't we been through enough   I just hope and pray my scan on Wednesday is progressing and I'm trying to just take it easy and drink a lot of water!!! Going to acupuncture in an hour so hope that helps!!

xoxo

Claudia - hang in there, hon. I know you must be scared. we are all thinking of you.

Lou - i just checked out that chinese birth chart thing - TOO funny. I checked it for me - it says I'm having a girl too. Then I thought, hmmm, wonder if it would be right for my DS - yep! - Then i checked my 3 DSSs (all natural, so easy to figure out) - they ALL said BOY.... then I checked all my sisters and myself - ALL said GIRL... WHAT?! So then I started checking my nieces & nephews - has to be at least 1 wrong one! My oldest niece was correct, but then 2 of my nephews were wrong - i stopped there... TOO WEIRD that the first 10 tries were RIGHT! maybe there is something to this! Only 2 out of 12 wrong.

Hi Everyone! Thought I would finally jump over here and join the thread :D This was our third IVF. We adopted our children in 06 and 08, then started IVF six months after my DD came home. First two were BFNs, took a year off (thought we were DONE, but DH felt like we had to give it one more shot), and this one actually worked! Started having some spotting today, so I went in for an early ultrasound (was supposed to be Monday). Lo and behold there are TWO in there! Baby A was measuring right on track at 6w5d with a hr of 119, and Baby B was at 6w1d with a hr of 110. B was a little hard to get to, so I'm glad he was able to get the hr at all. No bleeding found around the placentas, so all looks good!

I can't believe we are headed for FOUR kids! DS will be 5 and DD will be 3 when the twins arrive, so they can be my little helpers. Now see, THIS is why we bought a minivan! :D I asked DS if he was excited about the babies and he smiled and said yes. Then I asked if he would help me with them and he got all serious and said, "Let me think...hmmm...no." "No? Why?" "Because I have a playdate with my Dad to play Dinosaur Train." I love him!

Excited to get to know you all!
Me - 30
DH - 38
DS - 5 (adopted, Russia), DD 3 (adopted, Kyrgyzstan)

Hey girls...
My god, today I have been so tired but I think it is because I dont eat enough. Which is a good sign for my paranoid mind. I have always loved meat but I cannot stand the smell or the idea of it now. So no protein for me except cheese and yogurt. I just ate a big sandwich of Brie, ham, butter with French baguette and I' m starting to feel better.

Katie: sorry I got your date mixed up. One more week to wait...

Steph: Texas seems like a scary place with all the big bugs you refer to. I usually dont mind bugs, I love camping and I dont mind being among nature. However, you place sounds out of my mind: big roaches and more... Yuk...Sorry. I hope you get your two boys then.

Hope: I have no experience with child birth and I know I would not want C-section. However I would be pissed if I work hard with contractions and pain trying to get a natural birth and at the end I get a C-section. Might as well get the c-section from the beginning. Only my opinion...

Hazel: I have no name in mind and I have not thought about it because I know it will be an issue for us. My dh is from Mexico, I am from France and we live in the US. So the name will have to be pronounciable in the 3 languages. I also want a name with a "meaning" and uncommun. Something might sound very nice in english and french but then in Spanish, it might sound horrible....These are the criteria. Now I have 9 months to find something that my dh and I both like (not an easy task). I will definately postpone the name choosing time until the last minute.

Lou: Thanks for the info for the job. Unfortunately, they do need someone to travel and work overtime during these months. That's okay. No regret if it is not meant to be. About Paris, I am sorry to tell you there is no easy answer about the language barrier. I met people saying french people were rude, mean and not helpful and other people saying that french were pleasant, lovely and very helpful. I think it is about luck...You have to keep in mind that it is a big city, like New York, people are always in a rush. Lots of people do speak english or spanish but it is true, we have a hard time understanding people with accent (including me). I dont know why, I guess our ears are not as flexible and understanding as american's ears... so dont get offended if you try to speak french and people talk to you in english. It is just easier. I think it is all about expectation and understanding that it is a big city and like in any big city all over the world, people are stressed, busy and tired. I am sure you will have a good time. I really love Paris. I always stop there for 1 or 2 days before to go south to my family. About the Mercure hotel. It is a French chain, so you wont go wrong. It is like a Sheraton. About the location, I think the other hotel (West-End) was more central and closer to the sites. I dont know the area of the Mercure too much so I dont know what there is around except the Eiffel tower and the Seine river. Well I hope my info help. Dont hesitate if you need anything.

AFM: I did the chinese calendar and I am having a BOY... which is great except that my sisters in laws have all girls and I was counting on getting their clothes and other left over so I could save money. Time will tell...

Positive - I really don't like Texas. There isn't much to do in the area. I miss Colorado Springs... fun was everywhere and a nice scenic car drive, you were at hot springs or white water rafting etc. Oh... I heard be careful with those soft cheeses and deli meat/lunchmeat/hot dogs and any unpasturized milk or cheeses. I went to a WIC appointment and they say those foods may contain listeria which won't harm you but can the baby. I never knew about this before reading it in this forum by someone (can't recall who) then again at my appt. They say you can eat those meats, they just have to be steaming hot. However, I ate all those things when pg with DD and everything turned out great. I guess they rather moms be safe though.

Babyluv - Welcome and Congratulations on twins! Sounds like how I found out I was having twins. I started bleeding did the u/s at 6w5d and they saw two heartbeats! I bawled right there are the table making the screen jump all over the place. You DS sounds so cute! He can't help because he has a playdate with dad! Precious!

Claudia - I know exactly what you mean! Why be tested like this after all we have been through, it just seems so mean. I am sure that your little one is fine still. Maybe you have a small subchorionic bleed like me? My thoughts are with you!

Lou - Yep.. I believe it is a definate baby bump. Big enough for people to notice, though I still haven't gained any weight so I know it isn't me. lol Granted I gained 30 pounds before I got pg, but my belly looks a lot different then before. I did the gender game, since I was a FET I used November and it says I am having a girl, but if I use my implantation month, I am having a boy. Maybe one of each? lol

Claude & Gi- I know how you feel with the bleeding. I've had some sort of spotting or discharge pretty much since the week after I learned I was pregnant. I have twins (they say this can lead to more spotting than normal). Not real pleased that it is happening but all is perfect with the babies. Hang in there and know it is normal, but get it checked so you have peace of mind.

Babyluv- Welcome and congrats! I'm a twin mommie, too. I was really surprised when I learned both embryos had implanted! My betas were not crazy high so I didn't suspect twins at all! It sounds like you will really have a full house now! What a blessing! I have had on and off spotting since the week after learning I was pregnant. All is fine, so don't worry yourself too much. Be positive and get checked if you feel concern in any way.

Lou- I did the ole chinese gender predictor a while back and it said "girl" for me. So perhaps I'm having two girls? Wow, did someone in your gym actually comment that you looked a bit "softer". Man...you hang with a tough crowd. hehehe. What are they, former starved models? hehehehe

Riley- congrats on learning your baby's gender. Girls are awesome! I would love one of each (twins) but will take whatever the dear Lord gives me. Just want healthy! Now you can start planning away!

Steph- I too wanted the natural birth experience. After learning I'm having twins, I find myself dreading the increased possibility that I could end up having a c-section. I know nothing about each really...short of what I learn from TLC's "A Baby Story" but that is extremely edited and makes everything look peachy. I told my OB if I am healthy and the baby's are in the right positions, I want to do a vaginal birth. I'm channeling good energy for a vaginal birth and visualizing it all going well!

Hazel- DH and I have a one boy and girl name for sure. So if we have one of each, we are set. We are still trying to confirm the other possible boy/girl name in case we have two of the same sex. Since DH is refusing (so far anyway) to find out the sex of the baby's, I'm forced to find two names of each sex that I love. Not so easy. However, I'm still working on getting DH to realize how much easier our lives will be if we can plan ahead. Especially with twins.

Katie- Hope you are feeling well. I'll be sending you positive energy for your next scan. I bet you are excited and ready to see your little baby again!

AFM- Yesterday (early Friday moring) I got up to pee and all I saw was red. Freaked me out...especially since I didn't feel any cramps or weird sensations at all. guess all the blood from the spotting had pooled in my vaginal while I slept. Fortuanately it was just another episode of my subchorionic hematoma (which is very small). Had to go to OB office and get checked b/c I also passed a huge clot. It was very unsettling. All is ok, babies are ok and they are growing like weeds. OB went ahead and did the physical scan portion of the NT scan. All looked fine. I'm not doing the blood test part. And not doing amnio or cvs. I feel confident all is ok. Also found out I not only have one MTHFR gene mutation (knew this already) but that I also have another gene mutation that puts me at greater risk for blood clots. It is just a single gene mutation so OB isn't too worried, but is sending me to see a hematologist to look things over. Might have to be put on low dose of Heparin as a precaution. UGH. This worries me given my predisposition to spotting and my subchorionic bleeds...I mean, I don't want to lose alot of blood due to heparin. So I'll find out next week after seeing the hemtologist what my OB will do. Right now he is not inclined to use heparin since the babies are doing fine.

So if I forgot anyone. Had to do personals all at once! Big hug to all!

Claudia - So glad everything is ok. The bleeding sucks but happens to a lot of us. That is so cute your little bean has a nickname! Flick is a cute one!

Karen - I watch those baby stories and birth day espisodes all the time! I have known a lot of girls to have issues with c-sections and that scares me. The aftermath of it all. Not being able to get up and get the baby, some either need dad to get the baby for them or take a long time to get up to do it themselves. One of my friends had an opening in her incision on the inside!! She said she could feel like something was ripping inside of her. Another girl that my neighbor knows can't have babies anymore because of a certain infection she got? Just too many horror stories, but then again these are all Army doctor horror stories and I switched to a very good well known Hospital 30 minutes away. So I am sure those doctors are much much better, still scares me though that something like that could happen to me. About your episode yesterday, oh my! I bet that was scarey! I wish there was no such thing as a subchorionic hematoma! Seems the only good thing it has done is let you know that your babies are still ok when an episode happens. Good to see them I bet and know, but how frustrating is the bleeding!! Mine has gone back down to hardly anything but I am sure more will come out later. It seems it always does. I hope you don't need heparin, I heat it hurts really bad going in and leaves bruises, but I know as a mommy you will do what you have to in order make sure you and them little ones are all good! I will keep you in my thoughts that the bleeding will stop and go away for good! So how is your baby bump at 11 weeks now? I am curious since mine is getting big and people are starting to notice already.

Gi - Where are you? I haven't seen an update. You are in my thoughts! Sending bunches and bunches of good juju your way!!! :)
