worried with a fever

so Ive stayed home this weekend with what seemed like a simple head cold no problem... i didnt realize how much worse it would be with out meds. Now ive developed a fever that really isnt being brought down to normal with the 1 normal stength tylenol im allowed to take every 6 hours its been anywhere from 99.5 to 101.3 I dunno if i should call my OB... PCP or no one bc this is just one more thing im worrying too much over. Any advice?

You should call someone if your fever is getting too high. When pregnant you don't want your body temp to go above 101, this doesn't mean that it "will" hurt the baby but as a precaution, they normally don't like your temp to be that high. At least from what I was told. I suggest you call someone and get some advice, if not for anything else, just to have peace of mind. I had a nasty cold not too long ago, it was awful going through it with nothing. I took Tylenol Multi-Symptom and OMG I could breathe for the first time in days. I only had to take one dose to feel better! Maybe you can try this? I hope you get over this nasty cold!

page your ob - i will tell you that i was sick with my son and just took tylenol and hes fine. I did page my ob though. My mom also had the flu with me, took nothing and im fine
