I just wanted to pop in and say a hearty congrats to all the BFP's on the board (I have been reading but not posting much). With all my bleeding scares, this IVF roller coaster is still going on for me!! I go in again Wednesday for another SnS so hopefully I will hear the h/b this time and feel more relieved.

I thought you already saw a heartbeat?? How much are you bleeding? I must have missed your post, I thought you were all OK? Can you update me? I am kinda in the same situation... Counting down the days (9 to be exact) to see the heartbeat. Don't you think this is the worst of the many "waits" that we have?

To answer ur question i have 3 follies size 12-15mm then i know there is a 5,7,9 and i think 6. Guess there hoping a few others catch up!

I have actually seen the h/b 2 times now but I had two bad bleeding episodes so I had to go back in this last Saturday. Here is a quick run down

5w3d saw sac
5w5d bleeding red and passing clots (thought I had a m/c
5w6d still saw sac and beta was doubling
6w3d saw a h/b
6w5d starting bleeding red in the middle of the night and didn't stop for almost a day (red spotting and had to wear a panyliner)
6w6d saw a h/b
Go back in 7w3d so I'm REALLY hoping a bleeding episode doens't happen 2 days afterwards which seems to be my pattern!!!

The RE is telling me that she doesn't see any clots or bleeding in the uterus and to take it easy the next few weeks so I have been trying to stay off my feet as much as possible but it just shows that bleeding doesn't always mean m/c and there is still hope.

Hope - I am so, so sorry. My friend had the same thing happen to her a few years ago with an IUI and it was really hard. She got pg a few months later via IVF and everything was perfect. You and your DH are in my prayers. Take lots of time to cry. It hurts.

Lauren - Praying you are not cancelled! My RE completely changed my protocol this time around since the last two were BFNs. I mean, nearly everything was different. So if for some reason you are cancelled, you may need to talk to him about doing something different.

Emma - Congrats girl! BFP!

Angela - I KNEW you were going to cheat today!! Awesome!! So happy for you!

hi everybody such nice day congrts to all the ladies who got bfp yay i m happy for u guys for somereason i could not able to post updates here , but i will try again to post and if i cant then one of u has to help me with it please sorry about that anyways i didnt get my AF yet but after my b/w my nurse told me it will come in next 10 days so i m still waiting i dont think so athey gonna put me on any medicine to bring the AF soon well that suck but i allready waited 45 day i can wait 10 more day to thats fine i just want i can able to make on this board but well let see .

Lauren - You are young, so I bet those 3 have eggs in them. And you said this was day 6 of stims, so between now and ER, I bet others will catch up. I think I had 8 over 12 mm on trigger day, and when I went to ER I got 3 more. I would not cancel unless it's due to financial reasons (or Ins). Like someone else said, you never know about the cyst causing the next cycle to cancel, so If things are ok I would do it!

Hope for babies - I am so sorry! It just sucks!

Franny - I don't know how these stupid FET work, so If lining is good tomorrow I have no idea when ET will be. Does anyone else know? They were frozen on day 3. I am now taking 4 estradiol a day, and changing the patch every other day. I hope it works, but I am going to try and relax about it this time. I am supposed to leave for Vegas on May 6, and I am staying positive, but also thinking if it doesn't work I will have a good time in Vegas, lol!!! I really hope it works though, because I don't care if I can't have as good a time. When is your beta test?

Hopeforbabies: I'm so sorry! My heart goes out to you and your hubby - I will pray that your insurance works out . God knows we wouldn't have been able to afford IVF without insurance.

Franny: so I'm not the only with horrible constipation (I know TMI) . I've tried a couple of different things in the past & some make it worse. However, my dr recommended Miralax which is a lot easier on your body - it doesn't work right away, but I take in the am & pm & normally it works after 2 days for me.

I had my u/s & b/w this morning & I have 6 follies on my left ovary & 5 on my right measuring approx 14mm to 16mm. My RE was comparing my results from my last cycle & he said for some reason my body seems to be responding a lot better this time - he said that last time my Estrogen levels were at 1000 & this time they are at 2000! He wants to see me tomorrow morning for another u/s & b/w & he suspects I will be ready for my trigger shot tomorrow night - Which means my ER has been pushed to this Thursday 04/15. I guess one more day can't hurt!

by the way our 4 year anniversary is coming up on 05/13 & I'm hoping & praying we have a dual celebration

Not hopeless yet- OMG, that is AMAZING news, so happy for you!!!! I can’t wait to hear the Beta numbers tomorrow!!!!

Lauren- I always had smaller number and they kinda grew a lot in the end. I took my shots every night after dinner. As for possible canceling, We canned our 2nd cycle due to poor response. But we made the decision and it was for these reasons:
-we only had 4 eggs
- we only have a $20,000 lifetime coverage, so we didn’t want to “waste” money on a cycle that wouldn’t work
We have MF issues as well, and as much as it burned my britches to cancel, I think it was the right decision for us. We immediately went back for another cycle and here I am PG! In the end I had 7 eggs, 4 were mature and 3 fertilized. The next day 1 more looked mature so they fertilized that one 2. They put the 2 best back in and the other 2 never made it to freeze. So the reason they want you to think about canceling, is the numbers can decrease after ER. It would SUCK to go through the ER and have nothing make it to ET, much less freeze. Take a moment, talk to DH about ALL the pros and cons and make an informed decision that you both can live with and never look back. You have to do what is right for the 2 of you. No matter what your choice, I wish you all the best.

AFM- well, I went to CT this weekend and told the family, they were all very excited. I went to a lab in CT for bw, but my Dr’s office hasn’t gotten the results yet. I went back in this AM for more bw (and to get a PIO shot) and the beta came back at 338! I am so excited. We are going in for a sono on 4/19 (DH has off and gets to come!) Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!

AFM...My HR OB doc and my RE both ordered me to go get my beta and progesterone levels done this morning. Just got the results back from my RE and it is official (beta wise). I am pregnant!!! I am still in shock! It came back a 29...which is exactly what I was guessing it would be at only 7dp5dt or 12dpo. 29 makes sense ...since the line was sooo faint yesterday and only a bit darker this morning. My progesterone level is a 46...anyone know what that means? All she would say is that it is fine. I am waiting for my high risk OB doc to call me back with an appt time and when to go for another beta. My RE told me to wait till next Monday...but I will see if my HR doc wants another one before that. Woohoo!!!

waiting - happy you are going to start soon you are going to enjoy and hate the process but the end result if you get your BFP is all worth it. Hang in there girl.

AFM - Day off today we had no power and we still get paid so I packed a bit and doing better. Sold the house out of town so no need to stress getting out of it cause it's already empty. And the one we are trying to rent we think they accepted us we will know tonight and hoping to move in like 2 week? Not sure if I can do it? My son has his first communion on May 2nd so I don't want to be moved on May 1st how am I going to do this?? So it's up in the air.

LADIES I NEED YOUR HELP!!

Just left the doctors office. They increased my Follistim to 450 and menopour 225 (stayed the same). I only have 3 potential follicles the rest are less than 10mm like 9 and 7. So he said based on how they do things they dont normally schedule ER for 3 follicles bc the chances are slim bc you dont always get an egg from the follicle so he said in my case since its a sperm problem maybe I would want to go thru and take the chance or try again next month??? He said wait to see wednesday but WHAT DO I DO????

I am so upset!!! I have ABSOLUTELY no experience in this. I asked him WHY was this happening he says some people are just resistant to the meds and this may be the best I get!!

Lots of other ladies here have given good advice on making a good decision whether to go ahead with this cycle or not. I don't have any experience of this type of decision but I just wanted to share with you a little of my story - for my first IVF i was treated with the antagonist (long) protocol. It just didn't work for me at all. I got lots of follicles but woke up from the ER to find out they had hardly any eggs in them. It was a real shock for me and RE (he even wondered if maybe something had gone wrong with his equipment during the ER). It made me freak out that I had a low egg reserve etc... For my second IVF I was treated with the flare (short) protocol and my body reacted totally differently. Lots of follies, lots of eggs and even some left over for the freezer. It was also a much more pleasant protocol re. injections etc. So just be aware that if you decide to do another cycle you can have a different treatment from what you have this time. It's not just a case of you not responding to these meds. You might just need a different treatment! Worth discussing with your RE. Good luck!
