hi everyone! well i just had a d2 transfer on wednesday, and i thought this would be fun, and help keep up my PMA during the 2ww! hopefully i'll be able to fill it out soon myself!!

Number of first beta: 31 (and it was really a positive woot woot!!!! They were less than optimistic with that low number.)

Treatments you tried before IVF: 3 rounds of clomid
How many rounds of ivf did you go before success: 5th cycle 1st bfp (mc 7 wks) 6th cycle bfp mc(10 wks) 7th cycle BFP!!!!
Are you using donor eggs or sperm: No
Protol (meds taken): puregon, sniffer, pregnly for trigger, male and female antibiotics, metformin, clexane, aspirin, steroids, estrogen, crinone and 4 sessions of Intralipid drips for NK cells.
How many follies at ER: 16
How many eggs retrieved: 9
How many fertilized:5
How many and quality/rate of embryos/blasts transfered: 2 high quality 8cells on 3dt, 3 frozen on day 3.
Symptoms during 2ww: lower back ache, lots cramps, pulling sensation in abs.
What day you got your BFP: Very very faint line 7dp3dt
HPT before blood test: HPTs only as no blood tests done at clinic.

Treatments you tried before IVF: couple natural cycles with clomid, 1 IUI prior to finding out DH issues

Are you using donor eggs or sperm: no
Protocol (meds taken): antagonist protocol, follistim, ganarelix, hcg trigger
How many follicles at ER: 45
How many eggs retrieved: 21
How many eggs fertilized: 10/10 that were mature
How many days between ER and ET: 3
How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: 2 8 cell grade A
Symptoms or issues during 2WW: OHSS symptoms, cramping, twinges on my left side, increased temp, increased urination
What day you got your BFP: not till my beta 14dp3dt
HPT before blood test: i tested 8dp3dt and it was negative and promised my DH never to test again

Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process: the time between ER and tx were horrible i couldnt even move in bed, thank goodness i had taken off work more than the recommended 2 days. I also wish i knew prior how progesterone can so closely mimic pregnancy sypmtoms (who knows now though since i was pg). This process is hard emotionally and physically i wasnt completely prepared

Treatments you tried before IVF: DH took supplements to improve sperm quality, switched to boxers, stayed out of the hot tub, etc, lol
How many IVF did you do before success: 1 IVF tx 2 8 cell grade 4 of 4 and 1 FET of only one 3BC blast, both BFN
Are you using donor eggs or sperm: no
Protocol (meds taken): Antagonist protocol (Follistim/Ganirelix)
How many follicles at ER: 4 large and 4-5 smaller ones
How many eggs retrieved: 7
How many eggs fertilized: 3 with ICSI (only 4 eggs were mature)
How many days between ER and ET: 3
How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: Transferred all 3! 2 were 8 cell grade 3 of 4 and 1 was 8 cell grade 2 of 4 (grade 4 = highest).
Symptoms or issues during 2WW: On days 4-6 post transfer I had more "achy" cramps than I did with my negative cycle. Not AF like at all. Also had lower back pain. On 9dpt noticed a stronger smell to my urine, still have that! Weird. Also had progesterone symptoms of achy bbs and constipation but I had those with my BFN's too.
What day you got your BFP: 11dpt, I did not do a HPT
HPT before blood test: nope, except my RE spun my blood down and did an HPT on the serum before they sent the sample to the lab on the morning of my beta. He knew it was a BFP but didn't tell me until the lab results were back.

Number of babies: 1
Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process: Oh lordy, I learned TONS!!! It really takes a strong person to do this.

Protocol (meds taken): Lupron, Estrace, Vivelle Patches, PIO, Prometrium, Crinone gell (THIS WAS A FET)

Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process: To always expect the unexpected. To be prepared mentally and to be your own advocate and know your own body. If something doesn't feel right-it probably isn't!!

Protocol (meds taken): 10 of lupron, gonal-f, ovidrel, endometrin (my clinic does not use PIO - thank goodness!!!)
How many follicles at ER: not sure
How many eggs retrieved: 15
How many eggs fertilized: 9 with ICSI
How many days between ER and ET: 3
How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: 2 8 cell grade 3 (grade 4 is best)
Symptoms or issues during 2WW: light cramping, sore tatas, frequent urination, headaches
What day you got your BFP: VERY faint line evening of 6dp3dt, got darker each day
HPT before blood test: 6dp3dt, darker each day; got tell tale preg symptom for me (forehead sensitivity to heat) at 9dp3dt
Number of first beta: 299 at 14dp3dt; 799 at 17dp3dt

Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process: data can be very powerful - it can make you happy and it can send you straight to crazy town!!!!!!

Diagnosis or any known issues: Ultimately unexplained....but also MF low morphology and for me age, fibroids, and suspect a short luteal phase.
Treatments you tried before IVF: Fibroid surgery...and 3 IUI's.
How many IVF did you do before success: None...we got a BFP both times.
Are you using donor eggs or sperm: No.
Protocol (meds taken): IVF #1: Microdose Flare Lupron....IVF/FET #2: Estrogen pills, medrol, tetracycline and progesterone only.
How many follicles at ER: IVF #1: 14
How many eggs retrieved: 12
How many eggs fertilized: 8
How many days between ER and ET: 3
How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: IVF #1: Transferred 3..(2) 8-cell and (1) 6-cell.
IVF/FET #2: Transferred 3 good 5-day frozen blasts.
Symptoms or issues during 2WW: cramping/twinges/headaches/restless legs/insomnia/low back pain...and bleeding on 13 and 14 dpo during IVF #1.
What day you got your BFP: IVF #1: 10dp3dt....IVF/FET #2: 6dp5dt. Both by hpt's.
HPT before blood test: Yes.
Number of first beta: IVF #1: 524 @ 14dp3dt ...IVF/FET #2: 29.1 @ 7dp5dt.
Number of babies: IVF #1: 1...IVF/FET #2: TBD.
Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process.

I just wanted to congratulate you all on your pregnancies and babies! I cycled with some of you and remember the trouble you have all gone through to get here. I am currently on my 3rd fresh cycle and have had 2 FET. This process is very hard physically, mentally and emotionally. I thank you all for sharing your stories and being here for support! I don't know what I would do with out all of you during my cycles!
