On my way from ER. RE got 7 eggs from left ovary only. I have ET on Friday. Right ovary is difficult to get too. N my way home with DH to eat and rest. Post more later!

ANGELA-Ok seriously dont stress bc a nurse was having a bad day!! I really dont know much about the rule with testing bc I havent gotten to that point yet...but like you said about the half life! Girl you are SO PRENANT! I feel the same way sometimes I ask myself why? why did we call or ask extra questions...must be the nurse in us! (I think you said you were one). Sending you some PMA!!!!!! That beta is gonna come back awesome!!!

Lattrell-OMG girl I am so sorry! My heart goes out to you and your DH. Have you gotten another opinion?? Im finding out now that Im a slow responder too..stay stong girl!

TammyS- YAY, congrats!!!!!! Great beta!!!! I have a prog of 16/15, so not sure if your Dr has a different way of measuring or if mine is just really low. But if the Doc says not to worry, then I wouldn’t worry! Enjoy being PG!!!

Angela- you are totally PG! The nurses are always precautious, they don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up. As long as that line is getting darker, that is a good sign!!!!

Kushka- do you have any clotting issues? My GF had to take baby aspirin for her entire PG. oops, just saw Angela answered your question!
I still haven’t had a symptom yet either. I stopped feeling anything about 5dp5dt. And that scared the crap out of me. Low and behold, I got my BFP. No worries, nothing could mean something!!!

Franny- could be anything, spotting is SO normal in IVF patients! Keep that PMA up girl! I had weird dreams too, and for me the cramping was always from the Progesterone. Hoping the week flies by for you!

Libby- my last beta on Monday was 12dp5dt. Will find out Monday if it is twins or not!
Can’t wait to hear about the HB!!!!

Lauren1171- everyone is different. I know my Dr’s would never have let me go too long if they thought there was a even a smidgen of a chance they would miss anything. Let us know how the SnS goes.

Helene- I have to move my office too, not looking forward to it! I like having it upstairs in the extra bedroom, but that will be the new nursery (or guest room), so the office has to go into the basement! Ugh! I see me spending less and less time in there if it is going to be down there. Glad you got yours done and the you have some more time to pack.

Franca- AF symptoms can be PG symptoms too, keep up the PMA, your BFP will be so soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Paty- YAY, OK Thursday, get here already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Babycries- everyone is different. But they want you to have more than 4-5 follies and they usually want you to trigger when they are around 18-20. Stims can last anywhere from 7-14 days, some more, very few less. It really depends on how your body reacts to the meds, like I said, everyone is different. And everyone has different protocols (depending on their diagnosis). Welcome, wishing you the best of luck!!!

Hello PUPO buddies, my symptoms are period pains, tummy, lower back!! i get a few twitches and iv had a few shooting pains going up my nunu...is this normal? im getting kind of worried ...this 2ww is going so slow

Hey fellow 2wwaiter!

POAS = pee on a stick (i.e. home preg test)

Beta = your doc will do a blood test which measures the amount of a particular hormone in your blood (can't remember which one) which indicate whether or not you are pregnant. All the numbers that the ladies are talking about are the measure of the amount of hormone detected in your blood. If you're preg then the amount of hormone (i.e. the number) doubles over the course of 48 hours, which is why everyone talks about beta number 1, 2 etc. I've probably confused you, but that's basically it...

I'm jealous of your symptoms. I just feel fat!

Beta today was negative. Just wanted to let you all know and to say thanks so much for all of your support. I probably won't be back on. RE says that I have a 10-20% chance since I'm such a poor responder to the meds. I don't see any reason for me to put myself through another round and have to pay so much money out of pocket to be told no again. I can't take it again..can barely take it this time. My best wishes to all of you and many congrats to all that have received your BFPs! I love you guys.

I'm SO sorry to hear this. My heart is breaking for you. It is so hard to pick yourself up after this big disappointment, I know. But look after you and DH and take the time you need. I totally understand if you decide that continuing this journey is just not for you, and I'm sure you'll make the right decision when the time comes, but please don't give us just because your RE says you're a poor responder. My RE said that to me on my first cycle - see the message I left for Lauren a few days ago. By changing RE or changing protocol you could have a totally different experience. Just wanted you to know that. Much love to you. Kx

Thanks so much for your post. I'm really relieved that you had no symptoms and yet have a whopping great BFP. You're right, 'nothing could mean something' - that's going to be my mantra from now on!

Some ladies were talking about 'going to crazytown' before. I don't know where that is exactly, but I have a feeling that I have arrived there and set up camp!

Angela - They say that it's still early to POAS, but from what I have read, other positives have got the faint line that early and every day after! If it were negative I would say there was still a chance, but with a line I think you are pregnant!!! That nurse was probably just mad because they probably hear it alot from ppl who test way too early.

AFM - My transfer is Friday!!!!!!!! I can't wait!

Ladies: I have a dilemma & need your advice - I'm scheduled for ER this Thursday morning & I have guests coming in this Friday for a friend's wedding this Saturday. I know everyone responds differently, but do you guys think I'll be back to somewhat normal on Friday after retrieval? Trying to figure out if I'll be up for dinner Friday night &the wedding on Saturday

Angela - I TOTALLY understand you wondering, but if the line is darker, even a little, then you should be pg. I took a test 8dp3dt and got a BFP within 1 min. Even though it was 13dp trigger, I still didn't want to get too excited until I saw a line again the next day...and the next...and the next...crazy town indeed! When I have tested in the past, Ovidrel stayed in my system until 11dp trigger and it was super, super faint. Since yours is getting darker, you should be fine, even if it's just slightly darker. Mine only VERY gradually got darker with my BFP, but by the time I was at 14dpo, the line showed up within 15 seconds. I also have twins, but still. Your line should definitely be getting lighter if was HCG. But I'm glad they are moving your beta to tomorrow! Will be nice to get those numbers.

Latrell - I am so, so sorry. I hate this for you. Please take your time to grieve and recoup. I pray you find your right path to motherhood, regardless of what road it may be.

Paty - Yay for trigger! awesome!! Also, everyone really IS different. I was fine the next day after my first and third ERs, but the 2nd I was in a lot of pain for days. I think you should be ok for the the wedding, but just take it easy. I had friends come into town the day after ER as well, but they knew what was going on. Still, I didn't have to stop my life. Remember: a heating pad and extra strength Tylenol can be your best friend!

Tameka - Congrats on the 7 eggs! GL! Can't wait to hear your fert report.

Libby - Glad you are back! I've been tired too, but not too terrible (I say that after I just took a 45 min nap). Some mild nausea, but again nothing major thank goodness. How about you?

Kushka - I will take baby asprin until I am 14 weeks. That's is the typic protocol for my RE.

AFM - Spotting from Friday finally stopped yesterday (it had been slowing every day and the RE said it would probably continue because of the u/s), and of COURSE started again today. UGH! Hate that. I have an appt with my new OB tomorrow so I'll see what he says. Not sure when my next u/s will be, but I'm hoping soon! I'm wondering if he'll refer me to a high risk doctor.
