What to expect day 4 of scan?

I started stims tues night so 4 nights! Today doc only saw two at 12 mm the rest were 9 and 6 mm. Is this normal? He upped my meds and mentioned cancrlation if they dont catch up:( should i be worried so soon?

Hi, this is my first time writing on this site but, I have been reading things for a long time.My last cycle which was my 4th ivf took a very long time.At 1st my meds were lowered because my estrogen was rising to fast then it seemed like everything was happening to slow then sure enough things caught up but it was more then 10 days on the meds.I was always concerned that when I read all this stuff about people that have alot of follicles & alot of eggs retrieved.My last cycle i only had 5 eggs only 4 fertilized. We transfered 3 with assisted hatching and yesterday was my pregnancy test BFP beta was a awesome 306 12pt my next beta is thursday. so I guess what I'm trying to say is don"t let the numbers stress you out in the beginging. It only takes one embryo to attach...

1st ivf bfn
2nd ivf chemical
3rd ivf bfp m/c that same week
4th ivf BFP beta 306 music to my ears 2nd beta is on the 15th holding my breath but i feel so good about this one not like any other time. I have cramping, lower back pain & feels like a muscle pull in my abd...oh & I'm up all night going pee

Thank you for your response! Congrats on your beta and best of luck thursday! Well I went back on monday and he saw a potential 3 and little ones so once again increased my meds and now I go back in the morning! I am feeling pretty bloated my husband laughs at me as I try to get up off the couch he says I look ridiculous! Sore and bloated! So hope its good news in the am! Will keep you posted!

I wish you the best of luck with your next scan. I also felt aweful bloated sore it even hurt to sit down & stand up I got so full. You have to remember that each follicle is surrounded by alot of fluid. The wosre it gets could mean a better result that is the only way I could look at it and not lose my mind. I had a hard time at work I am a firefighter one of only 3 females in my whole department so there was not going to be any sympathy there. I often had to take vacation days so I could get the rest I needed.Don't be afraid to say it sucks & that you hate it my DH heard that alot but I kept my eye on the prize so to speak...I have also heard alot of clinics in different states do things different. I live in mass. well have a good night

Ok...so I went to the doctor and they saw two follies that were 18-20mm and what they called 3 medium follies size 12-16 mm so he hopes they catch up by friday so I can go to ER on sun or mon!! If not guess Im back to square one:( I know what your talking about. Getting up and down I feel sore once im up im ok unless I make quick movements. I am praying they catch up. The nurse said usually when the smaller ones get "engaged" they usually respond and catch up!! Thxs again

Don't get stressed out that is what happen to me my last cycle & thats the one that worked so don't count anything out yet. They also have 1 1/2 days to keep growing from your retrieval after you take your trigger shot.I only had 5 eggs retrieved last time & only 4 fertilized. Remember it only takes one..I had my blood work this am hoping my numbers look good. Let me know how your next scan goes...

Well I hope your bloodwork went well. I am going to ER tomorrow morning looks like I have 5 mature and a few other...woohoo!!!

That is awesome I told you not to worry.my numbers were great my 2nd beta was 932. I wish my re did a 3rd but they said that once you have to that are good they don't do the 3rd....I do have to say the 2ww for the ultrasound is hareder then the 2ww for the pregnancy test..My husband & I were talking & we think it is because you actually no that there is a baby growing now you just don't no if things are ok yet.......keep in touch on how youe retrieval goes & how many egge fertilize & remember it only takes 1....

Got home alittle while ago and honestly I cried my eyes out hen the doc told me she could only get two an she thought they were alittle immature so my DH amd I cried like babies and in came the embryologist smiling saying we got two! And they look great! I hugged her and she told me they will do ICSI for both and hope they both fertilize and ET will be thurs.. So I am praying!!!! Congrats to you as well yay!!! I think every part of this rollercoaster is torture! Best of luck

Today was my 1st ultrasound I'm 6weeks....I'm having triplets all three heart beats were great.. the re told me that we could feel safer about not losing any after next weeks ultrasound...My husband and I are so excited but now I'm starting to get a little nervous..........hope all is well let me no how your blood test goes

Sorry to hear that your beta was negative. Keep me posted when your starting a new cycle
