lauren i'm sorry. i didnt mean to freak you out! please dont worry ok? i only said that because i had 2 lead follies and about 4 smaller follies growing at first this cycle, and the RE mentioned something about letting the bigger ones "go" so they could keep the 4 smaller ones growing. like i said before i am horrible to stim so this was a last resort type of thing. (which ended up not happening anyway)
as for the trigger...it totally helps mature the follies and the eggs inside them just like the normal LH surge would do before ovulation. i have everything crossed for you!!

Lauren - I am worried too. So afraid that at my next u/s the heart will have stopped?? Hard to know the quality of the embies when they are anonymous?

AFM - They switched my office today instead of next week. It's so much better... I love it here. It's quiet and close to the people I like working with hoo hoo!! And we get snacks all the time... not good for loosing weight though

nothopeless - oh my goodness, GREAT beta!! so you are 14dper, right? Wow! My beta at 17dper was 904. Good luck! No matter if it's one or two in there, that is a very strong number!

Claudia - YAY! Isn't it so great to actually HEAR that heartbeat! I was so happy I was far enough along on Friday to see and hear it. We almost didn't get to hear baby b's, but thankfully my RE was able to reach it.
AFM - Had my first OB appt today (I'm done with the RE) and it went well. He was pretty sure my spotting was due to the progesterone inserts, and as soon he started my exam and saw the blood, he was all but convinced. Said there was no active bleeding, the blood was dark so he's pretty sure the inserts are just irritating the cervix. Good to know! No sex until the spotting has stopped for a week, but I am cleared to work out. YAY! I may wait till next week, but I am excited to get back into yoga. I'll go back in 4 weeks for a sonogram (didn't do one today since I just had one Friday) and every 4 weeks after that. He said I'll definitely see a HR doctor, but probably not in the beginning. Whoo hoo!

Hello ladies-
I finally got my beta back and it is 72!!!! It's official ... I am pregnant!!! My RE’s nurse couldn’t believe it was that high because it is still 3 days earlier than they normally test. I am 8dpt5dt and they normally test at 11dpt5dt! Now, the big test will be on Friday to see if the beta doubles.
She also told me that my progesterone is really high at 207.7! She said I’m not sure if your RE will stop the progesterone w/ high numbers like that. I said I hope that he doesn’t because I am such a difficult patient because of my history. I’m not sure, but I will probably call my HR OB either after my second beta or after I hear the HB.
I am just so happy. I can’t believe I am pregnant after losing Ashley. I think of her every day. It’s funny because I was at work yesterday and I said Ashley’s name w/out hesitation and the doctor looked at me and said you named her … at that time I realized they didn’t understand how traumatic our experience really was. I told her in the state of Ohio, once you pass 20 weeks gestation that you have to fill out a death certificate and name your child after the delivery. I said some parents bury them in the cemetery or have them cremated and she looked at me in horror! But, Ashley will always be part of our family.
I really want to thank you ladies for being here for me … now the difficult part … the next 8 months! Oh boy, will I need you ladies so very much!!!!
