Lauren – I am so happy your follicles are now cooperating. ER on Sunday or Monday, which is great!! Yes, I think the follicles will catch up … it sounds like the new dose is doing the trick!

To answer your question about the HR OB: if you have some complications during the pregnancy, multiple babies, past difficult high risk pregnancies, age during pregnancy, and there are other reasons as well that can be discussed w/ the OB to see if you qualify.

Franny – A weekend in New York sounds just wonderful for you and your DH. Please enjoy yourself because Monday is the big day. I know you will get your BFP!!!

Helene – Please don’t worry your baby is just fine! I can’t wait to hear about this gender test that you bought. Please oh please let it be accurate because I want to know also … lol!

Franca – I am glad you and DH can spend some time together! But, remember we are here also.

Claudia – I am so happy you heard the HB again! And, then you graduate to your regular OB … yeah!

Emmax – what did your doctor say about your discharge? I hope you shared it w/ them. But, I think you are fine because some discharge will just happen for some women!

Babyluv – How exciting, your first OB appointment … I am glad it went well and he has pinpointed the bleeding. That is probably what is going on w/ Emmax too but I am sure she will be fine.

Not hopeless yet – do you repeat your beta on Friday?

AFM- It’s been such a long day that I think I will rest now and think happy thoughts for Friday’s beta. I will check back in later tonight w/ you ladies.

[quote="turtle0619"]kushka my 2ww sister...i am coming for you!! ::::::entering crazytown to grab you and bring you back to safety::::::
its way way too early to be goin into crazytown ok? if you go there too early you end up going past crazytown into insaintytown which isnt fun for anyone!! please if you feel like you are starting to loose it please lean on me!! thats what i'm here for ok?? i dont have any symptoms yet either (unless you count the evil light discharge i had that was worse then no symptoms at all) really its still so early for both of us. our embies may only be starting to implant today! if this was a "normal" pregnancy there would be noway we would have a clue we were knocked up! i'm sure by this weekend i will be slowly headed into crazytown, but for now i am trying to stay calm and keep busy to keep my mind off of everything i'm not feeling!! haha
and yes...its WAY too early to POAS so dont even think about it!! xoxoxo :D

Hey Franny - you really do make me laugh! Thanks for talking me off the ledge! You really made me feel sooo much better and I've now gotten a grip of myself!
Actually I went back to work today and I think that was a good move. I was definitely sitting around thinking too much, and getting a bit teary and weepy....(not a good look!). The thinking the trick is deffo to keep busy.
I LOVE that you're going to NY for the weekend. Sounds fab! I hope you're having a great week and that your embie is burrowing in nicely.

Franca!

It's totally normal! I've been on the verge of howling for a week now. Went for lunch with a work colleague today - was in the middle of a nice salad and a mineral water and suddenly found myself blubbering away to her (thank goodness she knows what's going on so doesn't think I'm totally bonkers!). This whole thing is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster with enough ups and downs for a lifetime. But you'll be ok hun. It's moments like these that remind me of Dory Fish from 'Finding Nemo' : "keep on swimming, keep on swimming, what do we do - we swim, swim, swim".....
Glad DH came home and cheered you up! :)

Kushka - Yes my baby just turn 4 months yesterday, plus I am pg, plus we are moving, plus I watch my weight etc etc. I am a go go go lady all the time. My dh gets really worked up with me... poor thing. But if I am not busy I get in trouble :) so it's better that way.

so no symptoms hey!!! Join the party... I don't feel a thing other then being tired and wanting to go to bed at 6pm :) last night I told my dh I was going to bed at 6:30 but then I though I can't do that I have to help a bit ... so I went to bed when baby was falling asleep 8:30 ;) You know it doesn't matter what you prepare yourself for you are Pregnant and you will get your BFP and even if you are negative and want to be ready for the worst it won't change your results so don't worry... preparing yourself is ok so you don't get too desapointed but I am sure it worked and you just won't feel anything right away just like me :) I will stay positive for you girl :)

Helene,

You are SO lovely and positive - you're one in a million! You have really lifted my spirits and I just wanted to let you know that all your encouragement to me and everyone have made such a difference. You are a bright and shiny star. Thank you!
I LOVE the sound of your gender tests. But hey, what's the story with the cabbage?

Sorry - but I'm crashing yet again

Franny Whew! Good job pulling Kushka out of CrazyTown quickly! Allright now - to the both of you - i've locked the gates to CrazyTown, so you'll all just have to stay out of there permanently! I know how the 2ww just seems like time stops and you guys both know that the last few days are the absolute worst to get through. But know that I'm praying for you both. I would love to fast forward you both to your beta dates and put an end to this torture, but I cant.
Franny give a big kiss for your DH to come up with a way to keep you busy the last weekend! Kushka, going back to work, while not fun, WILL help you pass the days faster! So yay for that! Big hugs & kisses to you both and know that I'm pulling hard to see you girls on the other side! - xoxoxo

Angela :D :D CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! :D :D

Lauren1171 I've got my fingers crossed for you too! Good Luck!

Hello Everyone,
I have been dozing on an off all day. I am still sleep from sedation during ER. I thought I posted earlier today but I guess I did not send it. I had 7 eggs retrieved, 6 were mature, 5 fertilized, 4 fertilized eggs left. My ET is Friday at 1:30. I need more information on quality so we can decide how many to transfer. When I told my husband how many we have, his eyes got wide, he was like we are going to have 4 babies!!! I told him HAHA very funny. We will probably do 2 if egg quality is great. How did you ladies decide? If we do 2 , we will freeze the rest. I look forward to Friday and I am excited. My grandma is ill and is in the ICU in Boston so I will probably have to fly out of Maryland to see her. She is 81 and her Kidneys are failing and she had to get incubated today. They are starting dialysis with her today. She has been so faithful during my IVF journey and even before. She told me that my DH and I will have a beautiful girl one and that I must have my mom's name in her official name. My mom passed away 13 years ago.

Angela: congratulations!!!!! I am resting well. Thanks.

Tammy: I am resting well. Thank you.

Helene: I also look forward to hearing about the gender test. It sounds cool. Yeah 7 was amazing. Early last week, I had 6 follies in Left and 12 in the right. The right is difficult to get to due to adhesion and connection to bowels. We did not want to risk puncture and other severe complications. So

Claudia: congratulations on the progress of your baby

Babyluv: I am glad to hear that your OB appointment went well.

Lauren: Your follies will catch up. The adjustments really help.

Angela - YAYAYAYAY!! Congrats! Great number, especially considering how early you are! Awesome! I am so glad this is a happy time for you and you were able to say Ashley's name without hesitation. She is a part of your life forever, your first child. I am glad you are now pregnant with her brother or sister. :D

Tameka - sounds like things are progressing well! We never wanted to transfer more than two for risk of having trips (especially since we already have two kids). This time around we said that if I only had three embryos at ET (I've only ever had two the other times), then we might transfer them all, but not if we had more. Well lo and behold we had 5, 4 that were really viable, so we went for two and two made it to freeze (which we've never had before). Most women transfer three if it's a 3dt, but DH and I just weren't prepared for trips. Some people are. You have to expect to get pg with the amount you put back. Doesn't usually happen, though sometimes it does (ie, my twins). Good luck! I know you'll make the right decision.

Thanks for sharing. We are leaning towards two because the concern for multiples. My DH said he is very comfortable with two and if doctors recommends 3, he would support any recoommendations so we can have a little blessing.

angelaezra wrote:Hello ladies-

I finally got my beta back and it is 72!!!! It's official ... I am pregnant!!! My RE’s nurse couldn’t believe it was that high because it is still 3 days earlier than they normally test. I am 8dpt5dt and they normally test at 11dpt5dt! Now, the big test will be on Friday to see if the beta doubles.

She also told me that my progesterone is really high at 207.7! She said I’m not sure if your RE will stop the progesterone w/ high numbers like that. I said I hope that he doesn’t because I am such a difficult patient because of my history. I’m not sure, but I will probably call my HR OB either after my second beta or after I hear the HB.

I am just so happy. I can’t believe I am pregnant after losing Ashley. I think of her every day. It’s funny because I was at work yesterday and I said Ashley’s name w/out hesitation and the doctor looked at me and said you named her … at that time I realized they didn’t understand how traumatic our experience really was. I told her in the state of Ohio, once you pass 20 weeks gestation that you have to fill out a death certificate and name your child after the delivery. I said some parents bury them in the cemetery or have them cremated and she looked at me in horror! But, Ashley will always be part of our family.

I really want to thank you ladies for being here for me … now the difficult part … the next 8 months! Oh boy, will I need you ladies so very much!!!!

Angela
Totally awesome I am so exited for you and so happy and so overwelmed and everything.

Lauren1171 – Thank you …. Yes, I use the dreaded vaginal suppositories but I prefer them over the PIO IM shots. I absolutely hated those shots!!!

Kushka – thank you so much for the support.

Katie – thank you so much for the congratulations!

Tameka – I am glad you are still resting. How many to transfer is a personal decision because if you put two back you might just get two. I only put one back for medical reasons. I have also noticed that some IVF facilities are now pushing IVF’ers to only put back only 1 embryo if they transfer a 5 day blastocyst (a high quality embryo) and if they have high singleton BFP results.

Bei – thanks for the congratulations!

Babyluv – thank you so much
