Hello everyone

We are up for our first cycle this month. I am on Brevelle and Menopur with a small dose of lupron. I went this past Monday for my 1st US and blood work. It showed 8 follicles on the left ovary and 1 good size one on the right. I have had surgery on the right ovary so we were not expecting it do anything, but it surprised us all with its one follicle I go back in the morning for my 2nd US and blood work. Is 9 total follicles good or bad? When I had the US done Monday I had only been on the shots for 3 days so I am hoping in the morning there are more follicles. Does anyone know if that is a good number? Any information would be great. Thanks

Emmax- Good luck tomorrow... don't worry about the cramps I'm still having them too but my doctor says my hcg levels are really strong.

Amanda1979- (hey that's my b-year too) 9 follies so far looks great... especially since you've only done stims for 3 days. I've done 3 IVFs and usually I stim for nearly 11 days so you still have a lot of growing to go... Good luck.

Franca - I am so sorry you are depressed in your 2ww girl... but it's the down before the rise you know. You will rise up again when you get your great Beta no... don't you worry and try to rest

kushka - You know you made my day last night when I read your post. I was going to bed at 8:00pm so no time to respond but I had such a nice warm feeling about everything you said ... thanks for taking the time to do that... that was so meaningful and nice of you dear. I am very greatful... thank you very much...

on another note - yes my gender tests. The uro one I just ordered yesterday said we could start getting our pee sample asap and freeze it. So I did my first one at 4am and will do the second in the middle of this night.. They want you to do it 2 different nights. So as soon as I get the package I can ship it asap and get the results sooner. That one apparently you can do as soon as you find out. So when I mc I should have done it cause I would have named the baby accordingly knowing if it was a boy or girl...

and for the red cabbage. Check it out online ... it's called "Red Cabbage Gender Test" it's just a test for fun but it's pretty cool while you wait for your 20 w scan So I will do it too at 10 weeks or so.

tameka - So out of 7 you got 4 that made it so far. Love it you can just put them all back and you are sure to get your pg Actually 2 sounds great if they are great quality so yes and 2 frosties amazing. I hope it works... congrats and rest dear.

PatyPaty - yes I hope you get tons of follies too today. Can't wait to see the results

Amenda - Welcome and 9 follies is grat... Normally when they fertilize and everything you are left with half of them so cout about that. Don't worry it's a great no ... some only get 3 or 4 using their own eggs.

emmax - AF is NOT on it's way... it's just your uterus starting to grow don't you worry

AFM - got the final offer on the house so need to revise and sign and way we go. Also got the response on the rental and it's ok. But the lady who is selling the house we are in now wants to keep our last months rent in case there are damage... we are so mad at that she is not even allowed doing that plus we didn't break anything. Anyways.

so I started doing my pee samples for my test and so as soon as I get it I can return it and know my results asap Ya... cant' wait. Let's hope the heart is still beating on the 27th?

afm wow crazytown tried to get me in my dreams last night! i kept having all these crazy vivid dreams about POAS!! i woke up wanting to do it soooo bad, but i had to shake it off and yell at myself! today i am 8dp2dt so its still too early to do it even if i wanted too. but now it feels like its long enough that i should be having some symptoms, but i have none...ZERO!! last cycle i was crampy and spotting...i thought for sure it worked and i got a BFN...now i have nothing and i'm getting worried its gonna be a BFN too!
i'm trying to keep up my PMA so i keep rubbing my tummy and talking to my embie telling it to hang on and that mama loves him!
i'm gonna go get a mani/pedi today to pamper myself and keep my mind calm. i was wondering if you guys think its safe to use the massage chairs they have for the pedi's? my back as been hurting and the thought of that chair makes me happy, but i dont want to do it if its not safe for my embie!

i'm thinking of everyone!!

Would you stop it dear you are pg... that's why you don't feel anything and I would definitly NOT use a Massage chair... will probably do arm to babies they will not know where to do? But if you did already don't worry about it... if you are relaxing you are doing great.

France - I had it that when i was doing my first ivf my temrechure goes so high and i feel so hot and in few minit i started feeling cold i think it becoz of pio shot dont worry

Franny- I got a pedi last week and the massage chairs are fine. I never put it on vibrate because I hate shaking all over the place! I always put mine on the back stretch setting...just a rolling back rub with no shaking. Your baby isn't in your back do you should be fine just keep it on a low setting.
