Yes, they are ok following ER but don't use them following the ET.

Hi ladies...just really stressing out...my blood test is tomorrow morning..i think they will do just blood..does anyone know if they will do a sono also...or how long I will have to wait to find out ...??? thanks for any help..Everyone here has been so nice and so informative...this is my first IVF so I am clueless!!! Thank You

deb - i just had a blood test, no ultrasound...I had a BFN, so all the did was draw blood and called me back within a few hours to tell me the news - good luck, happy thoughts sent your way!!!

Yes, they will just draw blood. I choose to go to the local lab instead of my RE's office and then they called me in the afternoon w/ the results.

hello all first things first........super duper positive vibes to everyone going for betas.......
i think heating pads are a big no after ET. please try to avoid if possible. I have been told that i have to try to keep my body as chilled as possible, coz extra heat is likely to damage the embie.
ladies, try some positive thinking.....i googled it yesterday, and found a lot of good sites which helped me. just give it a shot.


im on day 3 after my FET (day3 transfer). as per most of the material i've been reading, my embies should be blastocysts by now and trying to start burrowing into the uterine walls......can't feel anything though......is it possible that i dont feel the implantation ??

I can't wait to see what your report says... ok so 5 fert and 3 iffy means not great right? So I guess you will be transfering 2 good ones that would be great. So sorry some of your eggs didn't make it that is very discouraging...

sas - you are in the same shoes as me. Sometime I feel breast tenderness but it's so rare that sometimes I think my bb is gone... but we have to keep the faith and know they are ok and will have a nice strong hb when we go to the u/s. Don't you worry and lets have a little faith

oh Angela - I am so sorry to hear you are worried. But you know what I am NOT worried... your beta is going up and that is all that matters. Hugs dear hang in there girl. Your Baby WILL be fine dear... he is nice and snuggling in there I am sure. Glad to see you are feeling your uterus still growing... fantastic news.

y_ghazaly - I am so sorry about your boss he is such a jurk... is there a way you can find a better job? The stress is NOT helping when you need to relax after your transfer dear. I think that's why it doesn't work. But you know not feeling anything is ok even when you are pg. I don't feel a thing and I am supposed to be 8 weeks pg... I tell you I don't feel one thing so that is NOT what shoudl tell you you are pg or not... but fatigue is what I feel. I am in bed at 8pm everyday cause I am so tired so keep the faith dear... maybe this time it worked. When is your Beta? Oh so your beta is tomorrow good. Glad you reported your boss dear.

Lauren - you are sour in your left ovary and waiting for your trigger? How are you now. My poor dear I am so sorry your boss is also a bad person... I hate that. When I get a bad boss I just leave the job Trigger done way to go... can't wait for your ER Glad the heating pad was ok

deb - Welcome Debbie, glad your beta is today what a releif. I can't wait to hear it... sounds to me that you are pg though good luck dear.

Turtle - don't be sad. For now you are pg and that's all that matters. We read horror stories and how they can turn to great stories... so I know you are going to be ok... your baby is there and happy I am sure. Soon it will be YOU haveing a birthday party for your dear lo... keep the faith.

emmax - good luck at your u/s too bad you don't get a second beta girl. Yes girl is normal to get brown discharge you are very pg girl and so take it easy. Oh I am so sorry you feel worried. I do to when we don't see our beanies. Don't you worry girl it's just your pg hormones making you cry of joy

DrBoots - How are you doing girl... I can't wait to see your bean too when are you going again?

mkd - Welcome and wow you have a good one for us never hurd O before... but I am not it will NOT affect your baby now... it's not your fault and so I mean that sound cool to me... but I understand the fear... Well just to make you feel better ... after my transfer like maybe like 8 days later I bd with my dh and had an O also and I am pregnant... my baby didn't fall or go anywhere. So don't you worry about that ok... If you are pg you are STILL going to be pg.

Yes even if you don't feel your embies attaching to your uterus wall it can still work. Like I said before I am one of those who never feel anything so you are ok girl. Hang in there.

amanda - well so Today is your ER congratulations. I hope everything goes well and you do just find with no too much pain girl can't wait on the results. 11 sounds fantastic.

paty - ET done wow how exiting. I am so happy for you everything sounds great. I can't wait to hear how it went.

AFM - We finally went to the sugar bush yesterday. Even my dh came I was so happy and he loved it. He loved the meal the kids loved the meal and the maple rollup on a stick after... it was great. I had to wait until the weather was good to go it was raining all day Saturday so yesterday was probably the last day it was going to be open... the season is done now. So I think my dh will now go every year cause he really loved the meal . It cost $100 dollars and the kids hardly ate anything but it's ok...

Also my daughter came this weekend and although it seamed to have started good it ended up in a desaster. She is 16 and smoke dope which I hate, wears so much make up you can't even see her face anymore, she wears shirts that are so thight that you see her whole boobs almost... I told her to put a sweater on she put one one with a zipper and zipped it up to the waste, I mean I could still see all the boobs and everything... she just doesn't want to listen to me ever. So now she lives at her dads and I found out they use her to babysit all the time and don't pay her. They also say she has to pay back stuff like if something breaks or the computer has a virus cause they say it's her fault but she can't get a job cause she has to babysit... and is in school... but she prefers living there and be a slave then listen to me here?? Here she had it so good, no work, no babysitting, only dishes to do using a dishwasher etc. It's just that I don't accept make up and tight clothes, dope, drink or tattoo. Well guess what she asked her dad to see if she could get a tattoo and he said YES... he smoke dope too and is just a jurk... but on her facebook I am the one who the whore and the ***** and says WTF about me all the time? Go figure?? It's good she doesn't live here anymore...

So good luck to all the girls going to see their RE for all the great steps of IVF today... I know it's going to be ok for everyone. Good luck for your ER, ET and Betas can't wait to see all the results.

Just wanted to post a quick good luck to both Franny & Angela! I have been in both of your shoes (spotting and beta not doubling) and I'm still around so I have hope and love for both of you! Can't wait to have you both on the other side on the winter cycling thread!!
