Morning Sickness

Post by Ems1971 »

Hi all
I'm 7 wks PG tomorrow and I'm suffering the most awful nausea. I don't remember it being this bad last time around and with a toddler to look after too I'm finding it really hard. I know its a good sign and I shouldn't complain, but its getting me down. Anyone else suffering and have any tips on coping with it?

Hi,

I dont really have ms this pregnancy but did on my last. My mum bought me a travel wrist band, it has a round plastic ball which you place on your pulse points and relieves the nausua. I used to put in on, feel much better then after a few hrs i used to get paranoid that i felt well take it off and felt ill again within half hour. They are not expensive and most pharmacies sell them, its worth a try. Hopefully it wont last too long xxxx

Hi - sorry to hear you're suffering. i know it doesn't help much, but u r not alone. :(

i'm now at 11w2d and still dealing with it daily. Mine started around 5 weeks. it's gettin' kind of old. ready to move on to the 2nd trimester where I HOPE that things will change. It is getting better tho... not constant anymore, more sporadic... but I too, had to end up taking zofran. I am still taking it, tho only 1x a day now, versus every 6 hours.

i didn't want to have to resort to drugs, but when you can't keep anything down, you have to do what you have to do...

hope you can find something that works for you!!
