Wow nice story Steph I like it so I will pray for 2 boys for you sound just right.

Me it's much different. I already have so many boys that we really need a girl. When I say need is if we have a boy we can't keep him... So when I adopted the 12 embryos I knew I was going to have too many so I adopted them all for me and a friend of mine who can't have kids. So really I am hoping for a boy cause I would love to give her a little baby. And besides my baby is only 4 months so I can wait another year for a girl.

I am not one to judge anyone. Everyone has a plan in their life and who am I to say what is right and what is wrong. Some people wait until their 40's to have children, putting a career first knowing that the egg quality isn't favorable in those years, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't have children, right? I get judged by some of my friends for wanting to give my remaining embies up. "Oh I could never have someone else have my baby." I hear this all the time. Well, I rather they have a chance to live then just kill them off. Isn't that a bigger sacrifice? I think it selfish otherwise, but not everyone sees it my way. What you are doing is best for you and/or best for your friend. Adopting embies for not just you but someone else is very unselfish. The way you are doing it is a bit unothodox, but who is to say it is wrong? The point is that whatever it is, it will get a loving and happy home and be loved forever and ever.

I can't believe some people actually judge you for choosing life for your embies. My got you are giving a child to a couple who otherwise might not have a family. I think that is amazing. You are such a wonderful mother for doing that for your children. So how do you think you will do it. Open or closed adoption.

We already signed papers saying it would be anonymous, but they are our embies, so not sure if they will let us choose a family if by chance we find one. We only have 5 left, so someone who might want them might want someone else's too since there isn't many. I think it would be easier to keep it anonymous though. Knowing might make me wonder too much. I donated eggs before, I'm not allowed to know if that ended up in a pg or live birth. I think that is a good rule. Some people might donate then later not be able to have babies and try to go after that child. That would be a mess!

Helene - Where have you been?

I had my first ob appt today and had a wuick u/s. Got to see my cute little ones dancing all over the place. It was amazing. He didn't see any sight of blood so believes the subchorionic bleed os healed and just a little old blood still making it's way out here and there. He recommended I stop the baby asprin in hopes that it may help the little spotting that I still have stop. He also said I will need iron and folate so ordered me a script for those. Lost one med and gain two more. lol It's ok though, anything to keep me healthy so those little jumping beans stay healthy!

My GF had was on baby aspirin too and it made her spot the whole first 2 months of her PG, the second they took her off, the spotting went away.

I had my first "full" IVF cycle in March, 2 fresh embies back in and we found out yesterday we have one perfect bean! We are very excited! (the first 2 cycles were caanned due to not doing what the meds were supposed to do). I go back to the Dr on Monday again for another US, I hoping to see a Hb, but I will only be 6wks4dys, so we'll see. The second best news from my Dr visit on Monday, was I get to come off the PIO shots and go back on suppositories! Have a great night, have o go put DD to bed.

I am hoping that coming off the asprin does the same for me as your GF. Got my fingers crossed.

It is iffy on if you will see a hb or not come your appt. I know some who have ans some had to wait another week but all got to see it eventually. I think it depends on how new or good the equipment is that the office uses. I got to see the hb of one of mine during the 6 week mark. I know one girl who got to see it at 5w5d too! Like I said, I think it's the equipment!

As far as PIO, my RE didn't want to switch me off since I had a FET cycle. So I had to stay on the shots. When you are on a fresh cycle your body produces progesterone and you don't need as much to help stay preggers. On an FET cycle, you have to completely make up for what your body isn't producing at all. That's how he explained not taking me off shots to suppositories anyway. I am tappering off now though. Only one more week after thursday and I'm done. My arse will be very excited! lol

YAy, for almost being done with the PIO!!! My MIL n SIL are nurses, so they would do it for me, but that was only 2 days a week. So I had to give them to myself in the thigh and my thighs were so SORE!!!! SO I am hoping the progesterone stays up, so I can stay on the suppositories.

I wonder where HElene went, she was an everyday poster on our cycle thread, but she is moving so maybe she's just been busy?

Boots - I am sure your levels will stay perfect! My dh gives me my shots, a few times my dd did but I don't like her having to do it. She is old enough being almost 11, I would just hold it to make sure she didn't keep pushing the needle in after it was already all the way in. lol She likes helping, but it's just not an everyday thing she should have to do.

Not sure where Helene went? I didn't know she was moving. I just moved myself, luckily I only had one day without internet though. lol I am being made not to do much since I'm preggers. I have unpacked a few things but can't carry boxes of course and DH has been cleaning the last house for inspection. We won't let me do that either. I use to own my own cleaning business before the economy ate it. So I know what I am doing, but he doesn't want me to do the cleaning. Which a move out cleaning is rough. A lot of stretching up high and getting on hands and knees and scrubbing. I don't miss it. lol

How strange I was waiting for the post in my email to come and see what the girls are posting and it stopped coming so I though noone was posting anymore and I was so sad... I though I will just find it again and see what is the deal and you are girls chatting away and I missed it all. Oh silly me. The notification is just not working for me now I know it.
