Hello Ladies! Went to U/S & BW visit today... stimming for 7 days now. I've got 17 Follicles. Most of them are great
sizes so far. I am taking Gonal F and Menopur and my Gonal F has been decreased for the second time. I satrted on
150 Gonal F. It was decreased Weds 4/21 to 112. Now I am now on 75 of Gonal F and 75 Menopur. My RE says I responded well on the meds. I have an appt on Monday 4/26 with Dr to see my ER wiil be. It's scheduled for Thursday 4/29 but may be sooner. I AM SO EXCITED

I am in Boston visiting my grandma who is in the ICU. she is doing a little better. My beta is in one week. I am keeping busy during 2ww. We are anxious to get results. I am hoping to resist the urge to POAS in several days. I have been reading posts daily. My grandma is responding to me so I am happy.

Lauren - I was thinking of POAS tomorrow which will be 8dp3dt. My DH says wait, because he thinks I will just be mad if its BFN and it's too early. My beta is Tuesday! I have not really had any symptoms, but since I did not do any shots this month it is alot different anyway. I use the Crinone also, and I hate it. But I guess it's better than the shots.
Lauren- maybe it is better to wait but i know its prolly killing you! So ur on crinone and estrogen? I take pills and crinone. Is that different from any previous cycles you did? My beta in in 10 days so that would be 11dp3dt.. It maybe too soon to have enough hcg and upset you for the weekend..
Emma- congrats girl...so those big ovaries are prolly causing ur pain. Hang in there girl

Hi ladies. I am new to the forum. I have found such comfort in reading your stories and thought I would join in. Im day 5 into my fsh on first IVF cycle. estradiol level 566 today, I have about 8 follicles right now, one 8x14, one 12x12, 2 at 10, and 4 microfollicles. Is this normal?
Me- 31, normal (relatively speaking!)
DH- 38, normal
IVF cycle number 1
Helene - Both of our adoptions were international, so they are closed. However, I hope to do a birthparent search in the next few years in hopes of contacting the birthmothers, or at least some member of the family. If we decide to put our frozen embies up for donation (which is likely), I will want a semi-open adoption. Not as much for as for the kids (though I would definitely love to know how they are doing). Research has shown that, in most cases, it's always best for children to know where they come from genetically.
Thanks Lauren. I have no idea what it is going on so I appreciate the advice. Best of luck to you this cycle! I had no idea how emotionally draining this would be!
Nicliz - I know my RE said before that after 3 days of stims they like to see an E2 # above 150. Mine has never been. Last cycle my E2 was only 73 on day 5. I think you sound right on track. Good luck!

babyluv - oh wow you will try and find their moms how wonderful for them... you are amazing. I totally agree with you about the children knowing where they come from. My adopted sister never knew she was adopted until she was an adult and she was very sad. When she found us though she was very happy. You are a fantastic lady I hope your cycle goes well and you have lots of embies left.
afm - just went shopping with DD 16, it was a fiasco again?? I think this is the last time we get together for the pictures next week then I have to stay away??
