Hi everyone -

How are you all feeling today? i think that my fatigue may be starting to lift, i 'm starting to feel more energy again, so I'm thrilled for that. I was just waiting to finish the first trimester and just kept reading the pg books and they both said that you'll feel more like yourself soon - so yippee for that. But now I've got loads of spring cleaning to do that I've was putting off these few weeks. I swear I dont understand how 2 dogs with such short fur can create so much shedding!

Helene Welcome! Good to see you again. I added you to our list and you have the same EDD as Claudia Here thats on Thanksgiving weekend
(just in time for turkey!) but if I'm correct in Canada you celebrate thanksgiving at a different time? How are you feeling?

that's right I am in Canada and we celebrate thanks giving in October but I am glad it's going to be on a feast day even if it's in the US my babies are US citizen anyways they were created in the USA good for them.

Glad you got your body and energy back. I normally climb 17 stairs at work but now that we moved to the 3rd I only do 3 flights but today I was more exausted then when I did the 17 ones Can't wait to get my energy back. I am in bad at like 8pm and then up again at like 5 am with baby.

Oh girls one question. I had yeist infection for a few days and use cream vaginally do you think that may have armed my baby?? Just though of it now.

And someone is asking us to join the volleyball team... is that bad for a pg lady?

Ok.. so I decided to be bold and post the first baby bump pic. Now I did it myself since I am alone at the moment, but I think you can still see the bump... just you can't see anything other then the bump. lol I had to use the mirror to be able to see where I was aiming my phone. (Not sure where the movers packed the digital cam.) I have my hand on my belly as you will see and my button is just under my hand and of course the bump just under that. If you look close enough you will be able to see old stretch marks... ick! Sooo... this is what I look like 12 weeks with twins. Ok... who's next??? lol

I always have a bump like that even when I am NOT pregnant so mine is NOT due to my baby growing yet

Helene - I think I know what you mean, I have extra skin that hangs due to being pg before. I was really little and stretched sooo much! Right now the twins are filling it out, but I am sure the skin will be worse after they are born. That's ok though... I plan on geting a tummy tuck to fix that.

Me too Steph. After I am done I plan to get my whole stomac redone. I had an operation at 2 months old and they took my belly button out so scar ever since then I tried to get one done at 18 and they messed up so another round scar around the straight scar and then 6 pg imagine how bad my belly is... I am like a monster

Helene- I hear you about being tired, if I didnt have to take the dogs out before bed, i think that some nights I'd be in bed by 8pm - and I'm usually a night owl! Be careful playing volleyball, you can get hurt if people start playing rough. My OB told me not to excercise since I hadnt been before getting pg, but both pg books say that low impact 30 minutes a day is really beneficial to you while pg. I figure a treadmill is safe enough, to walk though, not to run.

Steph - I love it! You've got two precious beans in there so you knew a bump would show quicker! OK, then I'll post mine too!

Lou – thanks for the warm welcome! I just stopped weighing myself during this pregnancy because of the weight gain w/ the cycle … lol. I was obsessed w/ it during my first cycle back in 2008 but this time I just want a healthy baby and then I will concentrate on me afterwards.

AFM – I am so glad that it is Friday! I became so very tired around 1pm and I couldn’t wait to go home and lie down. I don’t seem to be as tired during this pregnancy as my previous ones but when it hits me, I feel like it is a Mack Truck running me over. I will have my fifth beta on Monday and I sure hope my beta continues to rise like it is supposed to … then it’s my first u/s on Thursday!

Angela - I still get pretty blah right around the same time.. between 1 and 3 mostly. I bet you can't wait till your u/s! It's always exciting, no matter how many you end up having... it's always a new experience.

Katie - What a cute little baby bumo you have! Thanks for jumping on the bandwagon. It's ok that they are big. If you are using photobucket you can lick on edit at the top left corner of the pic and adjust size will be an option. I choose medium each time I post since the original version would show everyone my stretch marks a little too close up. lol Cocoa butter really does work! I didn't have a single mark on my belly and I stopped at the end of 8 months thinking... well, I won't get any bigger. Then I dropped! Once my belly dropped I had stretch marks all over the place. So... I recommend to all, use cocoa butter every night if you want to avoid marks, something nice dh can do for you and of course don't stop using it!

Lou - Ok, we did it... so where is your perfect abs that are protecting your little bump?

Helene - I agree with Katie, take it easy because that sport can be competetive. People might run into you! Maybe you should ask your doctor? And about your belly... you have battle scars, it ok! Your not a monster at all.

Steph and Katie - you sweet, precious angels... your bump photos today have just made my day. i know i'm a bit behind both of you... and still about 7-10lbs over my first pre-baby weight... but I am feeling ginormous.

I got the first of the dreaded "are you pregnant?" questions from a practical stranger today. WHY WHY WHY do people still feel compelled to ASK... ????? It was a woman that I work with - barely... I see her maybe 1x every 2-3 MONTHS. She has a 7 yo and a 9yo. and was asking me about my DS today... then asked the question... she said, "well, i felt bad asking, because i have a belly, and some people just have bellies.." Really? So you went ahead and asked... STILL? Idiot. Of course, I was gracious and said, "um, yes" -- I'm almost 12 wks (will be on Sunday) and I had decided I wouldn't try to keep it a secret anymore after 12 wks... little did I know that my big ol' bump would give it away anyway. geez.

I don't know why this lady's asking really bothers me... after all, I have been wearing my maternity clothes and some baby doll style tops, which DO emphasize the bump - as quite honestly, I'd rather LOOK PREGNANT, than just look like I'm picking up a few lbs... so I shouldn't be so testy about it... but then, I AM PREGNANT, so I can be testy about it if I want! So there!

anyway, katie & steph - your bumps are tiny by comparison to this big ol' whale of a bump. and they are adorable. THANK YOU both for sharing... now don't expect any Hope-bumps... can't say that i'm brave enough.

I am so excited to see some "familiar" friends on here from our March board-YEAH!!!! Welcome to the other side!

Katie and Stephanie-LOVE the bumps!! How exciting I look a little chubby but I'm not sure it constitutes a "bump" yet I will attempt to post a picture soon!

I have to apologize-I've been terrible about getting on the board and keeping track of everyone. I have been SO tired and SO sick! I am starting to feel better so I should be much better!

I went to my first OB appt. today. My OB, Dr. Holly, is the most bubbly, kind lady ever! And, she has a sense of humor. She is awesome It was a bit much trying to convey everything to the nurse but the dr. had read my file and seemed very knowledgeable and confident. She talked about meeting with the specialist due to my high blood pressure and carrying twins. Better safe than sorry. I had to give 7 viles of blood (not sure what that was all about) and the lady was not very careful-she had to poke 3 times and kept moving the needle because my vein kept collapsing. AGH!!! Oh well My next appt. is May 3rd.

I wear very very large tops so it doesn't show but in a dress?? So no dress for me

Hope - well for sure at 12 week you can start announcing. Way to go girl for breaking the ice. Me well I always look pregnant so noone asks they are polite ...

raysofsunshine - wow you are seeing your OB already amazing you are in such good hands. Way to go girl.

AFM - I started selling stuff so we don't have to move it and then I buy more just silly hey!! Sell a structure and then by a train set... my dh is not going to know where to look I call it play money. I sell something then I am allowed to buy something else... it's fun and don't feel like I am spending anything.

Katie your bump is soooo cute too i am not far off that size but will wait till after 12 wk scan and try post a pic i just need more confirmation that baby is ok before i post it!! My mam is great thanks still a blessed angel cleaning the house for us she still hates getting phone calls from j or me in case anything is wrong says wont relax until baby in our arms i suppose as a mother you never stop worrying.

Angela welcome i too have been following your journey and know how scared you have been over the last couple wks, i am so sorry for your loss of your precious little girl our family had 2 losses recently one at 20 wks and another at 40 wks (cord around neck poor little girl died 23hrs after birth) so i can only imagine the pain you have and still going thro. I had 2 early losses at 9wks and 10 wks so have a small understanding of your fear but with the help of God we will get to hold onto these precious babies, life can be very cruel but i always tell j when i finally get to hold my little baby our long journey will be worth it and wouldnt change a thing....what wont kill you will make you stronger xxxx good luck on monday.

helena glad you moved over too i love reading your messages! I cant wait to hear what your gender tests come back as. Hope the packing is going well fair play to you with a full time job, little baby and other kids....Super woman!!!

lou looks like you and i have put on about the same amt of weight, i am the opposite of you i cant wait to tell everyone we did ivf esp.since it took 7 attempts it might give someother couple faith but everyone is different and it really can be a private issue.

Sara sorry to hear you are so sick and tired i am one of the lucy ones and not much symtoms and also on steroids since before transfer so not much tiredness either though that may hit me when i come off them in 2wks!

Tammy hi, i too have to pinch myself that i am really pregnant its been such a long journey but hopefully we get good news at 12 wk scan and i will believe it though i said that about my 7 & 9 wk scan too

Ronda i have no idea what fifths disease is but i really hope your little baby is ok xxx
