Natakia : No symptoms for me at all dear......im beginning to wonder if that is alrite. though a lot of ladies have told me that they went ahead and had a BFP after absolutely no symptoms, and Helene on this board also is preggo and has no symptoms other than, knock on wood, her wonderful beta !! i don't know, maybe if God wills, and this thing doesnt work for us, we have decided to try donor embryos (we don't want only donor sperm/egg, coz it may lead to emotional complications) and if God forbid, that doesnt work out then we go for adoption. Actually, I'm so fond of kids and so thrilled at the thought of bringing up a child, teaching him values, giving her all the knowledge i have and trying to make her a good human being........i wonder.....is it that God thinks i'm not good enuf for the job, and so he refuses to fulfill my longing? but we read about worse people, moms who microwave their babies, desert them in trash cans.......what not. i wont be bad God.....why doesnt he listen to me??

AFM : My non-symptomy feeling continues. i have exactly seven more days to go. the fear and nervousness will start gripping me by wednesday, or maybe thursday. by next saturday, im going to be a nervous wreck, im sure. but glad you wonderful people are here to support.

amanda, i reckon the implantation procedure can happen anytime between 6-10 post ovulation.....so you got to count your egg retrieval day as day 0, or the day of ovulation, and then go on ahead.

Helene - My SIL found out she was adopted when she was in 7th grade because she FOUND the adoption papers! Not, good. Definitely puts a dent in trust. My two oldest brothers have been fine, but they always knew. I talk with my kids about it all the time. I am glad your sister was able to find your family.

just wanted to say to Lauren i did 3 x 3 day transfers and got pregnant 3 times (though 2 ended in mc due to nk cells), we got bfns on our 2 day transfers and only tried 5 day transfer once but didnt make it to transfer as all arrested on day 5. Our new clinic said 5 day transfer doesnt react well with me and have had 100% success with 3 day. We too had 2 x 8 cells transfered and pregnant with one little miracle, also i have had cramping since ET its mild but usually at least once a day the nurses said its from the crinone and uterus stretching. The 2ww is awful and its hard not to analysise every ache and pain.

Best of luck to everyone on 2ww or nearly there really hope to see ye on the other thread soon and to those who got negatives i am so sorry it really is tough but i am proof you just need to keep going i still have to pinch myself and Please God i will believe it when i get my 12 wk scan.

Hello, I have been on this board for some time, but I rarely post. I'm trying to be of some help to those looking for bi-racial embryos. We had a match with a couple who I met on Miracles Waiting some time ago. In the meantime I got pregnant, my family is now complete and this other couple still have some quality bi-racial embryos at a clinic in Chicago. The couple may need to destroy the embryos because their family is complete, and they cannot keep paying the freezing costs of the embryos. This couple is very busy with work, with their twins who are 6 and cannot dedicate their time to finding a match. I want to help them, another potential couple and I hate to see the embryos be destroyed... So...if there is anyone, preferably a couple I think (although they would need to decide if they are open to a single parent or prefer a couple) can you please let me know, either through a private email or on this web site and I will forward the information to the couple. Like I say, I know how hard it is to find bi-racial embryos and I am just trying to help out.

Amanda – It depends on if you had a 3 or 5 day transfer. Look at the chart below so you can see what happens to your embryo following your transfer.

**this is what happens in a 3dt :

**transfer day
1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins, as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on

Mkd - I know how you feel but we will not always have an answer for why things happen. Please just keep the faith and remember you are PUPO. The 2ww can be very hard for everyone but you can make it through. Are you going to POAS?

I feel strongly about adoption as well. But, from my research thus far, they don’t make it very easy for couples who want to adopt a child in Ohio. I have contacted some agencies but I think after my IVF journey, we will seriously look into it further.

Gi---thxs for your story. Everyones stories makes me feel better that whether it was a 3 or 5 day transfer that there is hope:)
we were so upset when the doctor told us they only got two eggs and they were immature to then get the news that after stripping them they look good...then they both fertilized and both were 8 cells on day 3. So after feeling like we had nothing to getting both placed back in me was a blessing. So I just hope they continue growing and snuggle in real soon:) I see you had problems with ur cells...were u attacking the pregnancy? Is that how u miscarried? I see your 10 weeks now! Congrats and I wish you a healthy pregnancy for you and baby!! Thxs again

Amanda- the whole stimulation process is a rollercoaster in itself. Im sure those follies will catch up they look like there good size So far....grow FOLLIES!! I was just there lask week. It is so nerve wrecking...have faith girl. If you read my story I only ended up with two and beat the odds with 100%fertilization so they say it only takes one!! And these ladies on this board are proof of that. So try and relax...enjoy the weekend....oh and welcome:)

Afm- question? Do u kadies know why they check ur estradiol level now? Nurse told me tk come on monday one week after ER and she said they just check it and most likely I wont hear from them...gotta be a reason right? Thxs

Lauren - I don't know what the reason is for checking E 2 a week after transfer. They have never had me do it. YES I POAS today and of course it was a BFN. It's only 8 days post transfer so I know it's early, but in my last cycle board most of the BFP ladies got them 7 or 8 days. I do know of sone who got negative but positive beta. But now I am feeling AF symptoms so I am convinced it did not work again. I am already talking about going on pill Tuesday and then stopping pill after Vegas so I can do another fresh cycle.

Lauren1171- Give it a few days and test again. If I am correct did you do a 3 day transfer? If so, according to the chart your embryo should just start producing HCG (which might be too low to be picked up on the HPT) and it could take 2 or more days before it is picked up on the HPT. Also, how sensitive was your test?

Angela - I used a First Response test. I just am thinking negative about this cycle.
