Angela- the 17th was my shot. What are u thinkin??

If your last Ovidrel shot was on the 17th then we know your symptom (nausea) isn’t from your shot. It peaks about 4 to 5 days and out of your system around 10 days. I think your symptoms so far are a very good sign! Some women are very sensitive and start to feel nausea right after the embryo attaches to the uterus wall (I am one that felt the nausea right away) and you may be one also. Remind me again, how many embryos did you transfer?

According to the flow chart for a 3 day transfer, the HCG might start to show up around 8dpt, so I would start to test then. But, it would be smart to test early to ensure he HCG is gone, that way you will know your positive is a true positive when you test later. But, that is up to you if you feel like you can handle all of the HPT’s.

I know … the 2ww is the worst! If you are talking about which type of HPT is the best (the first response usually detects at least 20) but now they even have one that tests as early as 6 days before your missed period, so I think about 6.5 mIU/ml.

Franca – I know exactly how you feel regarding the worrying. A beta of 69 isn’t bad! What was your progesterone level when they measured your beta? A good beta and a good progesterone level are all good signs from what I have read.

How many days post transfer did you test w/ your beta?

I just POAS again and there is a second line!!!! Very faint but it's definitely there! DH says why did you do it and not to get too excited! I am going to do it again on AM!!!!!!!!

I think it is a real positive because you are supposed to test in two days for your beta. And, 8dpt is when your HCG begins to be secreted! Also, usually it will show up right before or the same day as your beta! Congrats!!!!!

natakia - strange about your story of mother putting baby in microwave my son told me the same story yesterday and I didn't believe it?? That is just not believable. My co-worker told us about a story of kids doing this to a cat and the cat died and he though it was very funny... I was just chocked that he could think it's funny .. I hate him sometimes he is just so senseless.

I am sorry about your feeling of loss and emptyness dear. We can't understand why God leave us women in misery. Sometimes I see that adoption has healled people but not sure about those who can't do that... Not everyone has the money you know.

So you still have 7 days to go hey... that is long dear... I know it's hard but you got to keep the faith and yes no symptomes sometimes is what is good

"Faceless people here"?? With so much heart and compassion... You and everybody here are so wonderful... I hope we all get a BFP sooner or later so we can share our babies stories after and continu to be friends... thanks for everything you said natakia it means a lot to me and is very recomforting

btw your post about how God knows everything and we have to have faith is amazing. I would be so devastated if I had no children... not sure if I would have YOUR Faith?? You are amazing... you surely will be blessed.

babyluv - wow how tragic the way your SIL found out about her adoption. So sorry. I know your parents meant to tell her someday on an appropriate day ... I intend to tell my emby/babies too but no too sure how to do that? I am so glad too my older sister found us she is amazing.

AFM - Trying to sell stuff so we don't have to move big stuff etc.

Thanks for your kind words; however, I believe that was MKD who told that story about the microwave, WOW that is just AWFUL, there are really some SICK people in the world. I'll keep posting my thoughts on God's plans for us. We just have to be thankful for what he has blessed us with, we can't forget our DH's

Natakia – I am glad that you and your DH enjoyed yourself w/ an evening out. It is great to take your mind off of the IVF rollercoaster for awhile. So your big day will be Friday. Did you say you will POAS early or are you going to wait it out? I just couldn’t do it; I have cheated w/ all three cycles. I am so nosey … lol! Let us know if you do find out early!!!

No POAS for me, promised myself I'm not going to do it. I'm also looking at it as some type of test on patience & self control, I know it sounds weird, but I really feel like it is a test and I'm not going to fail it. My husband & I are both working from home on Friday so when the call comes we'll be able to celebrate or comfort one another. I'm going to allow my husband to take the call, I want him to deliver the news to me not a nurse. Oh my, keep us in your prayers!!!
