Where to buy gonal-f?

Hello all,

We're doing ICSI again shortly. Round 2. Can anyone recommend the best place/price for Gonal-F 450 multi-dose? We'll need quite a few. Maybe 6 of them or more. Been using FreedomFertility pharmacy. They charge $358 each. Anybody get better prices? We're in Virginia, used up all health insurance money.

Hi Jeff-

In my last round, I used Prosperity Pharmacy in Fairfax, VA. Paid about $500 per 600iui, which seems comparable to Freedom (which I used in a different round). You might check with your clinic to see if they have any coupons or know of any specials at any of the pharmacies. Good luck to you!

You can also contact fertility life lines at 1-866-538-7879.They have a program called the compassionate care were you get 3000units of Gonal-f (3-900 and 1 300 pen) for free.You have to have no drug coverage and be income elageable.They will mail the meds to you dr.s office.I got approved for the program and now I'm still short on the gonal-f.

what are the requirements for the income in the compassionate care program?and how long does it take to get the meds ?
i have registered today ,now what should i expect?

they will send you an application in the mail. fill it out and send back a bank statement, last 2 years of tax returns. I believe as long as the family income is under $50,000 you qualify for some sort of discount. We are military so my husband only makes less than $25,000 a year so we were able to get all of the gonal-f for free. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!! also, it was a pretty quick process, I think it took a week for everything.

thanks,we both make round 20000 i registered yesterday,and they said that somebody who get assingment for my case will call me,but the problem is that i am out of the country next week and then i need the meds by may 20,do you thing we have enough time?

i think so. they overnighted my meds to the doctor's office so once you are approved it goes pretty quickly!! Just let them know how soon you need the medication.

We always used Freedom Fertility as well, but we did get a lot for free from our clinic. Have you asked yours if they have any leftover meds to donate to you? / Good luck to you!

HI guys and gals,

I am new to this forum and have lots of questions. My husband and I have started IVF and ICSI the cost of medications is crazy and was looking to see if anyone had any left over gonal-f and or menopur. I have contacted compassionate care but they are closed. We have been trying to have a child for over ten years if anyone can help me or point me in a direction that would be wonderful.
