Thanks to those who are also on 2ww. I am new to using this so, wasn't to sure how to scroll past last post.. Geez.

I am just beginning my 2ww. I had a 3 dpt on 4/27.. so this is only 4 days! I am driving myself nuts, over analyzing everything! I had some mild cramping last night, and it even had went to my lower back. My nurse told me today that it normal and a good sign. so that settled me down some.. Did anyone have these symptoms? Did anyone already BFP have implantation bleed? I know some do, and some don't.

Good luck with the beta's tomorrow! Mine is May 11th. I have tempted to do a HPT the morning of.. but I just don't know.

Lauren1171 - That is AWESOME news!!! It seems like there are a lot of FETs that are late implanters so the betas start out slow...an increase of that much is wonderful! Can't wait to hear about your next one.

Neffi - WOW WOW! A faint line?? Holy cow, I can't wait to hear how YOUR beta turns out as well!

As I am sitting here in this 2ww from hell. I was just my facebook page and all my family & friends posted this and I wanted to share it with everyone here.
April 24 - May 1st is National Infertility Awareness Week. As you play with your kids today, or tuck them into bed tonight, please take a minute to empathize with the millions of couples out there struggling to achieve what you have. If you or someone you love is affected by infertility, please post this in your status this week to show your support.
It brought a smile to my face and it showed me that even though many of them have children they are all behind us who are struggling.

Lauren- Did you go for your beta today?

For everyone else I am so happy for each of you that has a positive Beta As for myself I am trying to wait a few more days before I do another HPT bc I don't want to get too discourage since my beta is not until Tuesday.

Debbie – welcome to our little family! Good luck during your 2ww. Ok, I just read your next post, yes the symptoms that you are having so far are a very good sign. During my first IVF, I felt my embryos attach (it felt like a pinch), and with this cycle I just got the cramping but no implantation bleeding at all. Just like you said, some women have it and some do not. I know it is stressful to be in your 2ww but we will help you through it.

Lauren – sorry this is so stressing for you but don’t give up … several women do not have a positive HPT until a few days later.

Amanda – I hope you are doing well in your 2ww. Yes, I think you started testing one day too soon. You should start to secrete HCG after 8dpt3dt according to the chart. But, remember it still might be too low to show up until a few more days.

Mkd – how are you doing? Good luck w/ your beta tomorrow! I know you will get your BFP!

Babies – welcome! Do you have any specific questions that you would like to ask?

Lauren1171 – I can’t tell you how happy I am to hear your beta went from 21.7 to 79.4 today. I am doing a happy dance for you! I just had a feeling that your numbers would soon start to pick up. And, the great news is your beta more than tripled!!!!!!

Neffi – I am so very sorry that you are going through this emotional rollercoaster. Please let us know about the BW.

Waiting4GodsMiracle – 21 eggs retrieved that is awesome! Over the next few days you should start to feel better. You will just have to take it easy for awhile because you had sooooo many eggs! I just saw your next post, 15 fertilized … that is great. I do hope you feel better soon! The decision of how many to transfer has to be a personal one because just remember, the number you transfer might be the number of babies you become pregnant with and also you need to consider any health problems that might arise if you transfer more than one.

Bed rest is still a huge debate among several RE’s because several studies have found it helpful and other studies said it makes no difference at all. For me, I stayed home for 3 days during my first fresh IVF and I got a BFP; my second FET, I did not have any bed rest and I got a BFN; and with this transfer I had 3 days of bed rest again and I got another BFP (but my RE didn’t recommend it for me, he just told me to do what I thought would help me the most). I knew if I went back to work, I would be too stressed out so to be on the safe side I decided to stay at home!

Emmax – you have to calm yourself. I know that you are nervous about this pregnancy, just like we all are, but you can’t keep going to the hospital to get checked so often. You have so many more months left of this pregnancy and I am afraid you will become too emotionally upset. So please try to relax!

Nicliz – 16 eggs retrieved … that is great!! Keep getting your rest!

AFM – I have had too very long days of work and I am so very tired. I am so glad that it is the weekend so I can finally get some sleep. I am so very nervous but excited for Monday to come so we can see our little baby on Monday. God, please let us see a HB on Monday!

Soooooo...I only lasted an hour @ work. The pain would not go away. Sitting up isn't working for me ....so I came home and let DH take care of me LOL ........RE called today and they ICSI'd 17 eggs and 15 fertilized. Not sure if they will call me over the weekend to give me an update. My ET is scheduled for Tuesday @ 1:00 and it will be a 5 day blast. I'm just trying to decide the number for ET. My Dr wants to do 2....I guess depending on the quality is when I will make my decision on how many I want to transfer. Just confused a little because one of the Nurses @ ER told me that bed rest isn't necessary
I think I still may stay home after transfer....I don't want to take any chances. Hope everyone is doing ok..Many Blessing to all of you ladies!!!

I had my FET on 4/19 (Monday) @ 1pm as well. My instructions said bed rest for 24 hours and that's what I did. I stayed in the bed. On Tuesday, I worked from home. After about 3pm I got up and cooked dinner & had to go to work on Wed & stood a bit. On Friday I went to a semi formal & danced (just a little 2 step) but I just carried on & tried to take it kinda easy. It'll work out great!!

Mkd – I am so sorry but I want you to know that I have heard of several women who had a negative HPT the same day of their beta and they said the same thing you did “I don’t even want to go for my beta” but you have to go for your beta because your HCG might be too low right now to be picked up on a HPT and you still might get your BFP.

Please try to relax (I know better said than done) but we are still here for you.

MKD - I am so sorry! When is your beta? I hate to say you never know for sure til the beta, because that always drives me crazy. But it's true. Any symptoms of AF? Every negative cycle I had, I got AF 2 days before beta.

Helene - I thought you were new also, until I read Angela's post! How are you feeling?

Angela - Thanks! I am so happy now that it set in that it more than tripled. I was hoping for something in the 100's but it's still ok. I am hoping to get at least a 190 on Monday.

AFM - I don't feel pregnant and I don't think it will set in until I see an ultrasound and hear a heartbeat. I am a little worried because I am leaving for Vegas Thursday and I am nervous about miscarriage now happening while away. My f/u is Wednesday so I am going to see what RE has to say then. My mom knows I did FET and I know she us waiting for me to tell her results. I don't want to tell her and get her all excited for nothing, so I have been holding off. I know she is going to start asking any time now! My numbers looked alright based on betabase.info so I am just praying every day!

Hi girls. I am still waiting to miscarry. This has been one of the worse 2 weeks of my life. Everything that could go wrong has.

I went for another beta on Tuesday ...just in case of a lab error. No such luck. Beta was down to 453. It was 515 on Monday and then today it is down to 360. It is coming down very slowly. I also had an ultrasound on Tuesday...and they are guessing that my baby died last Thursday or Friday. Problem is they couldnt find my baby on ultrasound and havent ruled out an ectopic pregnancy yet. The baby was just sooo small/early and by the time an ultrasound happened...it wasnt really big enough to show up anymore. Apparantly it shrinks as time goes on?

Anyhow...I have still had no bleeding at all. Not one drop. We are flying out Sunday morning for vacation...with the luck that I am having...it will likely happen as we are boarding. The docs arent too happy that I am still going...but honestly, we need this trip right now. They had me look up where the nearest hospital is to the hotel....just in case it is ectopic. I am just sooo frustrated at this point...that I am still walking around just waiting for "it" to happen. Has anyone else had to deal with waiting like this? The doc said he would give me some meds to basically induce labor if it hasnt happened when we get back next week. Why am I not surprised that I am not miscarrying. It is much like the process of labor from what I understand...and I spent 4 days being induced with Zach without any luck. Isnt this kinda like the same thing? Water breaking and cervix opening? It feels like my body just doesnt know what to do.

To make matters worse ...Zach learned how to unlock and open my laptop while I was in the shower the other day. He ripped off every key on my keyboard. Yeah, no kidding. I could read the posts, but couldnt type. In order to buy a new keyboard...we needed the part number off the back of the old one...and in the process the old one broke completely off of the motherboard....destroying my whole computer. I went out and bought a new computer today. I have a fridge lock on this computer now...he better not learn how to unlock it.

Oh and I have a question. Last night I had "severe" cramping, low back pain, chills, and fever for a good hour. I thought it was happening...but i fell asleep with a heating pad...and nada. I've been fine all day today...except some off and on again "minor" low back pain, fever, and cramping....which I've had all week. The IVF doc doesnt think it is related to the upcoming miscarriage. He thinks it is something left over from having strep and maybe a kidney infection now....and told me to call my family doc. I have been on penicillin for 10 days now for the strep and family doc doesnt think it is anything to worry about and did not have me go into his office for more antibiotics either. I'm guessing it is not a kidney infection since the penicillin I was on would've taken care of it...had it been the case. My fever has been lingering around 100.4 for over a week now (right now it is 101.3)...everytime I have checked it. I never as a rule even get a fever...it is never over 99...even with the flu. I dont feel sick..other than the back pain/cramps. Any thoughts? I think it is all related to the miscarriage personally. I hate to ask these questions to you girls...especially since it is such a sensitive subject, but I dont know what to think here. Is this normal?

This was our last chance. We have no more frozen embryos and we originally agreed to not go back again since my embryos will be from age 42 not 39 now...though this is now up for reconsideration at this point. If we do try again ...it wont be till July at the earliest...so we have alot to think about now.

Anyhow, I just wanted to say thanks for all of your kind words, thoughts, prayers and private messages. We are doing okay, and I am still around rooting you all on. Thanks again.

Sorry about the lack of personals...it's the middle of the night...and I am ready to try and sleep again now.
