Helene- Thank you. You are such a sweetheart! Yes the DH and I are crushed. As you know your whole life is consumed with this and then you try to do everything in your power and your result is NOTHING! its depressing but the DH and I are gonna take some time. Enjoy eachother again...since we've been on this rollercoaster its not always pleasant around here.

The RE said they will call me in a day or two. See how Im feeling and if Ive thought of any questions to ask the group. They usually meet every couple weeks. I had to wait weeks before for them to call me and I was not happy about it. I think they should bring you in and sit and talk to you. In stead they all meet discuss it and then call you. I dont even know what questions to ask at this point other than WHY?? why do they think it didnt work? What can I do to improve my chances and egg amount? But these things should be what they discuss anyway correct?? I dont know...very upsetting. My DH questions God when things like this happen. He says he cant believe there is someone good behind all this bc we are good people and why dont we deserve this? I told him we just have to have faith that everything is for a reason, we may not see it now but awhile from now we will look back and maybe see or understand. Or try to have faith that God has his reasons..I think we will be ok.

anyway...I appreciate your kind words. If you have any ideas or suggestions as to what I should ask. Im open to hear them.

Natakia - Wow what a great beta! I wish I would get a huge jump like that! Congratulations!

Lauren - Where do you live? Why does a group of docs have to meet? What if you wanted to start right away? I think your RE should get you right in for a follow up! Is it a small clinic?

Lauren- I live in New Jersey. I dont understand it either. They didnt give me BCP to start the nurse practioner said its best they meet first. My DH said should we go elsewhere but they do have a good rep. I dont know. They suggest you take a month off to rest thats so they can take there time!

Lauren - I just hate waiting! It makes me crazy. I like to start right away and just get it over with. Sorry that they make you wait.

Hi Everyone,

I've been watching everyone on here since page 1 of this group so I wanted to give you all an update (even though I'm technically a "May" person )

Had my ET this morning! Everything went really well - faster than last time! They thawed 3 embryos and 2 survived so we transferred 2 great looking blast embryos. I took over a 3 hour nap when I got home - just got up and thought I would say "hello" and that you can officially move me to the PUPO group!

Hope everyone is having a great day! I'm going to be thinking happy thoughts for the next 2 weeks (or maybe a little under that as they said I could come in the Sat/Sun before the 17th to get our results! ) I can't wait but I'm going to take it easy all week (as I took time off work all week!)

Hi Ladies,

My nurse called and my 2nd beta level is 811 Yea!!! she said it should double & it's definitely doing that. So I go back on 5/24 @ 4:30 for my first U/S...I was hoping sooner...but I guess they want to make sure there is a heartbeat by that time. Also, I go in for my 3rd beta this Thursday!! I'm so excited!!!

Natakia – I am so happy for you!!! I just knew you would get positive news about your beta. I know waiting for a call to hear your results can be unbearable! I am so glad we both received great news today!

They said the group will meet and discuss my case sometime soon and then contact me.

Lauren - I am so sorry but I would definitely meet with your RE to talk about another protocol. Some women on this site have also had some luck w/ changing RE's, not that there is anything wrong w/ your RE, it is just that some docs think very differently and make different decisions regarding protocols. Please let us know what you find out when you meet w/ your RE.

Lauren - Your DH’s reaction is very normal. It might even benefit him from joining this site also. There are so many men on this site also because they need support too. There are also IVF local support groups that might help him also. But, believe me when I say every emotion that you and your DH are feeling are very normal from personal experience and I just know your miracle is just waiting for you in the near future!

lauren- i know at my center the four REs meet every monday to discuss all the current cases. I think it helps them bounce ideas off each other and make the best decision for the patients. Im not sure why most places make you take at least a month off, my guess would be so the ovaries can recover prior to stimulating them again. Im so sorry about this cycle. will keep you in my prayers!

beta was 36 today....RE said stop meds. How can I stop if they are still going up? 8, 19, 36 I know they are sooo low, but....UGH what do I do?
