Hi Trace,

I do try to come online as much as possible but I don't always have the time to do it but I'm here now.

Alex had his jabs yesterday and me has a mommy gets all emotional because I hate to see him cry. He was also weighed wait for it  15lb 3oz  I couldn't believe it. The h/v said to give him some mashed potato so I have today with one small carrot and some gravy, Mom fed him because I was worried so she done it and he had 2 spoonfuls and enjoyed it.

Thanks for the advice on the tattoo, I am undecided its ok now but its when I get older I really am not sure what to do. Like you say if I do have anymore I would have to add to it and then it will get bigger and bigger.

Where's Zoe hiding today???

Hope to hear from you soon.
Love
Shell.

Shell

Can;t believe he is on mashed potato - they grow so quickly - how lovely though - you can do it next time not your mum! I bet the jabs are hard to watch - do you think you can ever become used to it? RE the tattoo - hope I didn't put you off - just wanted to let you know my thoughts - wouldn't it be funny if you had twins next time - the tattoo would be getting enormous!
Where is Zoe?
Happy weekend

Hi Shell,
Just wanted to say belated congrats to you and Zoe on the arrival of your little one - or big one in your case, Shell! You'll soon be getting him his schoo uniform by the sounds of it!!!
ust a word on weaning - gravy isn't recommende for babies due to the salt content. But great news tht he's taken to solids so well!
I've just about 2 weeks to go until the arrival of mine - a 36 weeks now and didn't think I'd last this long due to the heparin injections I'm on - was warned that I could go early! But the little one isobviously comfy where it is!

LOL :D :D :D LOL

Missing me then???? I'M HERE

Trace - cheeky, cheeky - no my tattoo didn't drop, but the comment made me chuckle........... Shell, I'd always wanted one, but it took me 12 years. One Saurday, I just took the plunge. I remember it so well as I lived in Aberdeen at the time and Robbie Williams was coming to do a concert. The cues for tickets were huge, so I went to the front where my pupils had been queuing for hours and asked them to get me a couple of tickets as I was off for a tottoo. LOL  :o Cheeky or what? LOL. It's only wee, but yeah, get something small as if you don't like it after a while........

Shell - solids now?????????????????? Flaming hell. As for Lee - hmmmmmmmmm, I'm with you on this one... Sam has his jabs on Tuesday, so not looking forward to that.

Di - thanks for the good wishes. Can't believe Sam has been here for 12 weeks instead of the 5 he should be and he's become, wait for it, chubby in the cheeks - aaahhhhhhhhh. In his red book, he was soooo early he didn't even go near a centile, and I reckon by neck week, he may be reaching the 'underweight' one!!!! LOL

As for IVF, don't think I'd do it again. I've no obvious reason why it won't happen naturally, but never say never. We're lucky to have Sam (although I'm considering stopping breast feeding soon so as I can get a period and start trying again  ) Shocker eh??? bugger leaving it a year, the clock's tick tick a ticking....

Anyway girls - hope I've made my presence felt again! I love ya both for missing me. (I was out for a late lunch!!)

Take care maties

Hello its me the mad one from the West Midlands and just thought I would say hello to my dear friends.

What you all up to the weekend? Not sure what we are up to, to be honest!!

Di - Thanks for the advice on the mashed potato and gravy, I have gave him mash today but without gravy. He had a couple of spoonfuls again and I was so chuffed with myself I done it myself.

Trace - OMG could you imagine if I did have twins afterwards, hee hee admittenly I find Alex takes all my time so having twins I wouldn't get any chance what so ever but on another hand it would be lovely. My Sister has twins one boy and one Girl Kyle & Tanya and they are just lovely.

Zoe - Course we miss ya, its weird when I don't see a post from you because I wonder to myself is Sam ok and are you ok. I think you've done ever so well with the b/f situation, I never gave it a chance to be honest, but saying that with how ill I was I don't think I could of done it. Oh Zoe it's horrible the thought of them having there injections. Alex has been crankie today and I think that's from his needles, he's just lying on the bed with Lee atm while I come on here.

Hope you all have a fab weekend.
Take Care
Love & Hugs

Hey Shell,

I agree re:jabs - Sam tends to be grouchy after a couple of days. Poor little mite, I had Chinese last night and I don't think he liked it as he had a bit of a sore tummy - no more for me then!!

This weekend? - think we may buy a patio heater - I mean, we do live in bonnie Scotland!!! Mind you, we've been saying we'll buy one for 2 years now and never got round to it!

As for breastfeeding - I found it very hard and only persevered as Sam was so early and I'd read that if you breastfeed then, they develop as they would have in the womb. That kept me going when it was really tough. I'm glad I did, but he's such a hungry monster again! It's not for everyone and each to their own I say.

You got any plans yet???

Hi Zoe,

Well Alex is asleep atm but we are going to my Mom's in a bit so I will have to wake him up (shame really) but I always spend some time with my Mom on a Saturday and take her shopping. Lee works on Monday so we won't be going anywhere far and god knows what I am up to because they have forecast terrible weather.

I understand that you b/f and you done it for all the right reasons, I can imagine it must get a little tiring and stressing for you hadn't it with Sam being hungry alot.

Its amazing you wasn't due and we had our babies a couple of days apart didn't we?

What's weather like there today? its dry here but I spoke to my Mom half hour ago and she said it had been raining and you wouldn't believe it because my Mom only lives 15 mins away.

Have a good one, and speak to you soon.

Love
Shell.

Hi you lot

Sorry been busy this weekend doing things for our village in bloom - don't ask. Sunday was boiling hot and nobody could beleive in the village how large I was - it's great being the centre of attention :D

Di - can't believe you are nearly there - keep us posted.

Zoe and Shell - you make me laugh over tattoos - Shell you made a decision yet.

Zoe - go for it girl - I can never conveive naturally as blocked tubes or at least only one tube as they removed one after my ectopic and the other is clipped - be a bit of a miracle  Sod the year - I agree with you - keep them coming I say! Sam is coming on leaps and bounds anyway.

Hope you had a great weekend

Hello Peeps,

Well I'm back have you missed me  hee hee

Busy Busy lets get busy is my moto!! :P

Alex is now 15lb 3oz and I just can't believe it, the time just seems to be going so quick. I have now started him on his solids, and he does half like the Roast Turkey Dinner and the Sunday Dinner by Cow & Gate. I gave him some of the Pasta one today but I don't think he was that impressed.

Trace - Won't be long for you, can you imagine when you go out shopping instead of taking 1 hour it will take you 3. Everyone will be stopping to look at your twins.

Zoe - WOW to Sam, he's doing so well with his weight I bet you can't believe it. WOW to also wanting another one soon hee hee :D mind to be honest I would love another tomorrow dispite all the hard work and the labour etc.... it doesn't matter I would go for another one, but Lee doesn't want another just yet.

I am going to post a photo on FF of Alex if it will go on so maybe you can all have a look.

Sos ain't been on for ages, dirty nappies, sleepless nights!!

Love
Shell.

Tracey - hug duly given and an extra one or two too!! :D :D

Shell - of course we missed you! Sam is doing well, 10lb 7 yesterday, although I almost daren't write this, but POO!!!! (sorry Trace - it'll set her off again I know :D ). From almost every nappy - he's suddenly gone to once every two days - although I think it's bothering us more... H'es still only getting one formula bottle in every 6 feeds, sometimes 12, so I don't know if he's just changing a bit or what...health visitor says it's ok, but it just doesn't seem right!!!!

Apart from that, all is ok. He's smiling like a smiley thing (when he's not moaning that is). Looking forward to last set of injections ( ) so we can take him to the swimming pool...that'll be fun...

Are you both well????????? (and big A of course Shell :D )

Hi you two or should I say 4

Shell glad to see you back - can't believe how heavy it is and always good to hear how you both want another so soon - can't wait for mine!!!!!
One hour shopping now Shell - got to be joking - I spend hours on every aisle examining food so will take us all day with the twins!!!

Zoe - must be getting soft in my old or pg age as not head spinning over your poo questions  perhaps he needs a bit more water - you now dehydrated or something but if the health visitor is not worried then you should be - says me who would probably flap  Nothing says that we have to poo all the time!

Love to you all

Hi Everyone,

Well it;s been I don't know how long since I been online but managed to get 5 minutes to pop and say hello while Alex is asleep.

Well time is going so quick, Alex will be 16wks old on Wednesday it's just so so scary.

I had my letter the other day to see when I am returning to work, I can go back 21st June which is my 6 months or I can go back the 20th Dec so I have opted to take the 12 months off I really won't want to go back but I suppose I will have to at the end of the day.

How are you Zoe? How is Sam?

Tracey - How you doing as well?

Well Alex gets his last needle on Wednesday and will also be weighed, he was 15lb 3oz 4wks ago so will see what he is on Wednesday.

Hope to hear from you soon.
Love & Hugs
