I have finally made it to this page after 2 years of reading your wonderful stories which gave me hope through all my treatments..My 1st beta 11dpt was 306 2nd beta 14dpt was 932. we thought maybe twins but my numbers fit in all 3 beta charts from high to low on each chart..My 1st scan was 6weeks showed all three with strong heart beats and great placement. My RE said she would feel better after my 7week scan which is tomorrow. My chances having a m/c after that will go down which makes me so happy..We have not told anyone yet she said to wait until after my next scan..I'm glad that is soon because with three in there i now have a little belly that in noticable & no clothes that fit..I'm not complaining I love it it means my babies are in there and growing.I can't tell you how this site & all of you have made this jounry so much easier for me...I mostly would just read others stories a few times I would write but now more then ever i feel like I need the communication..Hoping all is well at my scan tomorrow which feels like it takes 6month to get here.I did only have a 3-5% chance of having triplets eventhuogh we transfered 3. I believe these are the 3 babies are all suppose to be ours.I don't think I will loss any of them but , that doens't mean I'm not worried about it. please help me stay sane through this process

Congrats on your BFP and TRIPS! Wow! I had three transfered too and got twins. You are in for a long pregnancy. lol First trimester goes really slow because of all the worrying we all do. After you hit the 2nd trimester you will start to realize how fast you have to start getting things ready for THREE! God luck at your scan tomorrow! I am sure babies will all be fine. Hope you join the winter cycle mommy thread, lots of talkers and great gals in there! Can't wait to hear how tomorrow goes.

Today's Re app. was great all three babies look awesome heart beats are where they should be & all are measuring exactly the same.Re does feel that all three will carry to delivery......Myself & DH have never been so happy.Re thinks it is ok to tell people now...yayaya
Bella - Glad things went well at your appt! Must be a great feeling. My embryologist scared me before when I was going through my 2nd IVF cycle. He told me that they have never gotten triplets and have had a few twins but none have ever made it. So when I got preggers with twins I was scared one or both wouldn't be making it. See, this RE office is very careful on how many embies they put in at transfer and the quality as well. So I guess they pride themselves in the numbers of singleton babies vs multiples because they are very careful not to give a mom multiples due to high risk pregnancies. However, he scared the crap out of me! Now we are in the safe window and I feel a lot better. Hope to see you chatting in the group soon.

My RE is also very careful on how many they they transfer my husband & I had alot of meetings with her and almost like counseling sessions before the decision was made to transfer 3. I work in the medical field so I do no the risk but I also no that not everyone has the same problems. We only had a 3-5% chance of having triplets with such slim chances I just think they all want to be here..I truely think it was the assisted hatching, the thought was that the hard shell that the embryo has to come out of before it can attach was to hard & mine were having a hard time coming out therefore giving much less time for the embryo to attach well & implant.which was why I had the chemical & the loss the same week it was a positve pregnancy test..The RE also knew that we do not believe in selective reduction & if it were multiples we would not reduce. My husband & I always wanted 3 children & at the rate we were going we thought we were luck to get 1. I just thank god for our babies & pray they get here safely. Tlak to you later hope your feeling well. Don't let them scare you there a thousands of twins born every year and most are carried to 37 weeks...
Just stopping by to give you some advice. Please although everything might be going well please keep in mind that even though many multiples can make it into 30-something weeks, also keep in mind that you can go into preterm labor without having any symptoms. Make sure you have a very good perinatologist and that they are open minded about your options of getting a cerclage before there are any problems if any. I lost my triplets at 21.7 weeks. Some spotting here and there in the beginning but was a picture perfect pregnancy and then one day all of a sudden had cervical changes. Doctor was against cerclage and that was the end. Gave birth to 3 beautiful babies all alive and were left there to die in my arms. My little boy last 3 hrs and my girls 1.5 hrs each. Please please be open minded to possible situations like preterm labor. Please message me with any questions you might have. Good luck and congrats. Its amazing when you see them grow and feel them move.

I have already asked about a cerclage and asked about a incomp. cervex that is something that they are watching me for and as long I as i make it out of the 1st trimester if they notice anything they will put one in.I would only pick a doc that had the same beliefs and concerns that I do. If at any time my doc changes from mine I will change doc. They doc is also very aware of this.I work in the medical field so it is very hard for them to push me around and not give me what I think is best for me and my babies.I would like to thank you for sharing your experiences with me.
Rosario , I was in a rush when I wrote the last time but let me explain my reasoning.Women in my family tend to have cervical problems.I was born almost 5weeks premie due to my mothers water breaking & being 6cm dialated that was 2 days after she saw the doc & all was good at that time my weight 5lbs 6 oz. my sister was born 4weeks early weighing 4lbs 13oz.My grandmother lost 2 pregnancies due to early dialating. 1 aunt & 1 cousin lost a pregnancy in the 2nd trimester. That is why I am very pushy with the doc about this all those women are from my moms side of the family. I go to a new high risk doc in 2weeks That will be the 1st ? i ask him before i decided to keep him as my doc. With the knowledge they have about my family history there should be no reason why this should happen to me.Knowledge is power & I plan to use all that I have to keep these babies in..
bella - congrats on the trips! I have two friends with trips, one who got pg with them naturally (how does THAT happen??), and carried them to almost 37 weeks. They are in high school now. The other did IVF and her kids are 3. She went to 33 1/2 weeks. She had a cerclage pretty early on I think, and was on modified bed rest around 20 weeks...then real bed rest a little later on. They are all healthy.
I think it's very wise to be talking about the cerclage now and making sure your doctor is on board with your beliefs. I am pg with twins, and will be asking mine about one if he thinks it's necessary. One of my close friends actually switched OBs with a month left in her pregnancy because the first one was not supportive of her plans for a VBAC. The second doctor was, and she now has her baby girl, about 4 days old, home from the hospital after having the VBAC she wanted. Sticking to your guns is the best thing you can do.
I was on the Nov/Dec cycle thread and am now almost 29 weeks pregnant with triplets. I also have a 20 month old daughter from my first IVF try in 2008. I must say that this pregnancy has been a roller coaster ride. I see my OB who is absolutely wonderful and works very closely with my perinatologist. I also recommend you see a peri as well as your OB. They monitor you very closely quite often. I see them both every 2 weeks on alternating weeks, so I always see a dr every Monday! It's a lot, but I am completely reassured that everything is going well each week. I had my cerclage put in at 14 weeks and it was totally precautionary. I was not showing any signs of cervical problems, but again, better to be safe than sorry. I am a teacher and was able to work until 26 weeks, and am now on "additional rest" meaning no work, but I can have my 20 month old at home with me for now. I hope all is well with you and although I don't get on the boards as often as I used to (it's not too comfortable sitting at the computer with this BIG belly), please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
