Hi Ladies,
First of all Congr8s to everyone who is going through IVF Treatment...
I know its been while Since I last logged in. I waited so long for the ER( almost 6 weeks since the day I started my lupron)..I had my ER on 5/01,10 healthy egg Retrieved,all of them Fertilized.. Had my ET today,2 Embies Transfered and 8 were Frozen for future use...I guess I am a PUPO Girl now....I have to go back to his Office on Tuesday May 18 for my Pregnancy test...meanwhile I need ur Advice n suggestions,I will be home all this time(took off from work)...

has anyone out there done day 6 transfers? my ET was supposed to be tomorrow but they called today saying it might be thursday am. i don't know much about 6 days transfers and was wondering if anyone had any advice/thoughts??
You know now that you mention it. I don't think my embies are 5days. I remember when they called to tell me that I was down from 9 to 3 on Day 5, they said they were letting them grow for 1 more day. So I guess that makes mine 6day embies (I'm just not 100% sure if they did that for all of them or just one....I think it was for all of them though). Well, I got my BFP last Thursday. I go tomorrow for my 3rd & final beta & an U/S on 5/24.

Are you trying to decide whether or not to POAS? Well, it sounds like you have strong eggs...that's great news that ALL 10 fertilized & you froze 3...that's AWESOME. Are they 3day or 5 day transfers?

I haven't been on here in a week or 2. Hope everyone is doing well. Went last Monday to RE and saw two sacs on ultrasound but no heartbeats... too early. I get to go again on Fri and hopefully see heartbeats. The wait til Fri is killing me.
But I'm feeling nauseous and tired as all get out. yahoo! Never thought I'd be happy to be sick & tired but I just picture my baby/babies snuggling in and that makes me happy.
I'll keep you posted.

I was wondering how do you put what you been through on the bottom of your name. I don't see it anywhere. Do you have to type it in each time? Oh my cousin was going through her first IVF same time as me. We were doing everything at exactly the same time. She transferred 2, but today she found out her test was negative too. I really hate it for her. I was hoping she would get a positive. She does have some frozen, so she will be able to do it again. So come July we won't be doing it together.

At the top of the web page there's a "Board Index" or "User Control Panel" link you can click. Click "User Control Panel" and then go under Profile tab and you can update your info.

Ugh!!! My 2 day beta went from 233 to 259. All of my other betas were after 3 days. I am leaving for Vegas tomorrow night, and I am not going to have a non-fun time just to cone home and find out it dropped even more! I insisted on going in tomorrow for another beta even though RE said I won't see much of a difference. I would rather see the day 3 then nothing. And if the number drops I am going to he an alcoholic in Vegas!

I'm sorry you didn't see as big of a jump as you wanted to. I think it's a good idea to get another beta, especially since you went to another lab today. I will keep you in my prayers tonight. I am praying that all goes well with my 3rd and final beta tomorrow.
If you don't get a chance to update us before you leave for Vegas tomorrow...try and have a great time!!

@ Natakia- Thanx dear,yep I"ll be home till 18(Can work from home too)...Well I haven't thought about POAS yet, when is the best time to do it...I saw the pics of my Embies,they looked really good...we paid 1200 bucks to freeze them,got 3 month storage free but have to pay 600 bucks per year after that...(Since its in Newyork city,I guess thats why they charged 1200 for just to freeze them...)
Regarding my ET,I am not sure was it 4 day or 5 coz I went for My ER on May 1st early morning,n for ET may 5th morning...You can count is 4 full day or 5th day added....

Thank you Tameka94 for reaching out. Yesterday was hard especially when we had to tell his & mine parents. I try not to over analyze it, but us women tend to do just that. My husband & I have decided we are just going to give it our all the next 2 months and see if we can get pregnant without any help. If we do great and if not then we will do the next cycle in July. You're right these ladies on here so supportive and helpful. It has helped me so much. I pray for every one on here.

Amanda - Again, I am so sorry to hear about your BFN. I know that it hurts but I am glad that your DH was able to be there for you yesterday. We are here if you need us.
Debbie – I would keep testing each day because it may just take awhile before your beta is high enough to be seen on a HPT.

Kajol – Congratulations … you are PUPO. My best suggestions are to take it easy, try not to stress too much. Are you taking any time off from work? I just noticed that you said you had ER on May 1st and ET transfer today, which is May 5th. I have never heard of anyone doing a 4 day transfer. I was told by my RE that they don’t touch the embryos on day 4. Maybe your RE felt he/she needed to transfer your embryos immediately for some reason.
Not hopeless yet – That is great news. It does sound like you scanned too early, so I am sure your next u/s will be great. I was almost in the same position as you. I was going to do my first u/s at 6 weeks 1 day but they knew I might not see the HB so they pushed my u/s back 4 days and I saw my HB this past Monday.
AFM – Well, I was finally able to get in contact w/ my high risk OB today. I have my first meeting w/ their nurse practitioner on May 17th, which includes another u/s and then my first appointment w/ the physician on June 14th. I am excited but so very nervous. I am happy that they are going to do another u/s when I arrive at the hospital.
Thanks Angela I must say today is better. Yesterday I didn't want to talk to any one and I threw myself in the bed, but today I actually got up and did some things. I hope you are doing well. Amanda1979
