Lauren1171 – I know your beta will be great. I am anxious to hear the results! Ok, just read your next post. Don’t lose confidence yet. I think it is a good idea to go tomorrow because you can compare another 3 day instead of just a 2 day. I am praying for you!!!!!

Kajol – Congratulations … you are PUPO. My best suggestions are to take it easy, try not to stress too much. Are you taking any time off from work? I just noticed that you said you had ER on May 1st and ET transfer today, which is May 5th. I have never heard of anyone doing a 4 day transfer. I was told by my RE that they don’t touch the embryos on day 4. Maybe your RE felt he/she needed to transfer your embryos immediately for some reason.

Not hopeless yet – That is great news. It does sound like you scanned too early, so I am sure your next u/s will be great. I was almost in the same position as you. I was going to do my first u/s at 6 weeks 1 day but they knew I might not see the HB so they pushed my u/s back 4 days and I saw my HB this past Monday.

AFM – Well, I was finally able to get in contact w/ my high risk OB today. I have my first meeting w/ their nurse practitioner on May 17th, which includes another u/s and then my first appointment w/ the physician on June 14th. I am excited but so very nervous. I am happy that they are going to do another u/s when I arrive at the hospital.

Amanda - It is different for everyone. I started my AF 3 or 4 days later after my failed FET but it depends on when your hormone (progesterone) decreases enough to start your AF. Where you taking vaginal suppositories or IM injections? The IM injections will take a little longer to get out of your system. So you might have to give it a few more days.

4 Day Transfer- The main objective of the Fertility Treatment Center (FTC) is to provide our IVF patients around the Phoenix area with the most optimal chance of achieving a pregnancy. Through IVF studies performed by Dr Jun Tao, FTC’s Laboratory Director, it has been proven that Day 4 embryos that are showing signs of advanced development have a better selection value compared with those on Day 3. Not only have these embryos activated their genes, but they also indicate that the embryo has reached a more advanced stage. Further IVF research demonstrates that Day 4 embryos are the most stable embryo stage for freezing, thawing and transfer. Another major advantage to transferring an embryo on Day 4 is eliminating the need to transfer more embryos to achieve adequate pregnancy rates due to improved embryo grading and selection. I was taking the IM injections. The last shot was Monday night, so I guess a few more days.

Kajol - That is interesting but not surprising! If you think about it they are constantly studying new and improved ways for IVF. When they were first performing it, they solely did 3 day transfers but then saw a benefit to transfer 5 day blasts. But, the negative thing about transferring blasts is that some women’s embryos don’t make it the blastocyst stage. I am wishing you good luck during your 2ww. We will be here to support you!

Ladies – I had to come on this site to vent to someone. My DH just came home and told me his brother called him today and told him that his wife is pregnant now. They already have a DD who almost didn’t make it herself. Her mother was on bed rest for 5 months out of her pregnancy. So now to the point where I am PISSED OFF! He then proceeds to tell me that they have decided to have an abortion because they just can’t afford another baby right now! WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!

I am so mad right now that I just stopped talking to my DH. How irresponsible can you be? And, to make it worse, his brother said we will just probably try for another kid next year, like this kid can be replaced like a car or something. I am so very upset because of what I see myself and you lovely ladies go through to have our kids, then these two idiots of the world weren’t careful and now they want to kill this baby. I feel like I just don’t want to have anything to do with them anymore. I mean no functions, no hanging out, nothing! I am that upset!!!

I am pissed off too and I don't even know them. People's mentality just keep surprising me. How about giving the baby up for adoption? Some people can get pregnant at a drop of a hat & they don't think about everyone else who can not.

Angela: I know how upsetting it can be for someone so close to you be so irresponsible. I have two coworkers who have had abortions and It just set me on fire because I want a baby so bad. I don't even go to baby showers bcuz I get so depressed, But we have to persevere and move forward and try to concentrate on ourselves. So many things around us can be so hurtful but we must dwell on what is to come for us!!! Stay focused as much as you can as hard as it is!

angela - I decided not to worry about the loads of work. Get it done quietly and not tell her so she doesn't send anymore and I will just say it's done at the end when I leave. Our date now is July 2nd. So better then at the end of this month.

angelaezra - OMG I can't believe what you are telling me? Wow what a shock to tell you that when you are ttc so bad... heartless. (sorry) Wow why don't they just put this child for adoption with you??

AFM - Moving tomorrow during the day while me and the kids are gone. So dh with baby are going to tell the movers what to do and where to put the stuff. Then it's the weekend so I have a couple of days to try and set up enough to get going again. I have to change the internet connection so I don't loose it tomorrow.

May 19 - IPS (like NT scan)
May 20 - Daycare renewal
May 22 - Baptism Official Prof Photos
June 9 - High Risk OB first apt.

Anywhoo..I had my ET on Tuesday 5/4. I had two Blasts transferred and 11 blasts frozen. So now begins the famous 2ww. I promised myself that I would not POAS!! I have to call my RE on Friday 5/14 to set appt for pregnancy test. I took off from work the rest of the week and will go back on Monday. Well ladies TTYL!

oh wow amazing. 2 blast transfered that is great. And even better 11 frozen is amazing. You will most certainly have siblings in that bunch. Way to go girl. So happy for you.

I totally understand your frustration. It's quite upseting, especially given all that we go through just to try and become parents!!! However, it is your DH's brother & he was confiding in him, it is a highly personal decision...one his brother probably should of kept to himself knowing what you guys are going through. I think it was extremely insensitive to discuss it with your DH. I would just give it some time and go from there!!! Just pray!!

Angela- I totally understand dear,I had the same prob in my family with my Aunt,she is been married for 16 yrs,had 2 baby girls in 1st 2 years(she always wanted to have a boy),after that she started aborting her babies, until she had a baby boy 2 yrs back,She is a sinner,she has aborted more then 10 baby girls,just becoz she wants a boy...My sister in law,every 2 months she gets pregnant then take some stupid medication to abort it(she already has a baby boy,she doesn't want more kids as of now), why the hell they cant take precaution instead of aborting their babies...when we look at ourself,we can feel the pain...My mom had her 1st baby after 10yrs of her marriage, My elder sister she had after 7 yrs of her Marriage,and other still she is been trying for 5 yrs,and here I am ...But my bro his wife is perfectly fine,just like other normal women... I feel good after telling u all my family story....

We are here for support each other and we will do it again and again...Now cheers....God is with us....

QUESTION???? Spoke to my RE nurse and she said they "may" put you on a Estrace protocol. (just what she was thinking) Whats that? When I asked her she said she wasnt gonna get into detail about it bc she wasnt sure...anyone?

She said the group should be meeting today or tomorrow and I should hear what there plan is for me and my new cycle. In the meantime ive been reasearching massage and acupuncture and pressure. I am def. getting a massage next week. I booked my flights for our vacation in June to Orlando! Deciding on the acupuncture or just massage therapy?? Not sure. But I need some help because my body gets physically stressed from work and mentally at home
