Just a quick note. ER went well they retrieved 6 eggs out of 6 follies. 1 was very immature. 2 were almost mature and 3 were mature. So they are going to try and fertilize all 5 to see what happens. Tomorrow we find out. We are praying for 5 fertilized!!!! I am really sore inside and can barely walk so I will go lay down again!

Purple- good luck tomorrow for the fert report, I am praying all to be fertilized!!!!

PMA - lot of sticky dust for your FET tomorrow, I am sending you lots of positive baby dust!

Will do more personals tomorrow since I feel crummy :( but excited and hopeful we will have 5 embies!!!!! Please please!

PMA...GOOD LUCK today! I hope everything is perfect! I am so excited for you :) Everything is going well over here, just waaaaiting! I hate the waiting game. I've never wanted to stab myself with a needle as bad as I do right now! I feel like once I start those I will feel like we are actually accomplishing something. This just feels like wasted time (and it doesn't help that I know it's wasted because RE is on vacation...grrrr). That's nice that your boss was able to relate to you. Mine is a mother of 3 and she said she couldn't imagine not having them in her life, I need to do what I need to do and my family should come first. Obviously she doesn't want my work to fall to the way side, but I happen to have 3 months off coming in about 4 weeks! Yay for summers!

purplefish...I'm sorry I missed you before your ER, but hope it went great! 8 eggs is wonderful!

rio...sorry I missed your ER as well! I'm also sorry you feel crummy, but I will be crossing my fingers for all 5!!!!

bei...I hope the metformin is treating you well. My stomach did NOT agree with that stuff! If you do start to feel sick on it, try to eat something small (and not sugary) every couple of hours. If you let yourself get too hungry the metformin will let you know!!! Good luck :)

mcfarland...how's the 2ww going? What are you doing to keep yourself occupied? That's what I am most worried about. I am not a very patient person. My mom just told me I need to find a hobby to keep my mind off of things. Clearly she doesn't understand that there is no keeping your mind off of IVF!! I may have missed it in the posts, but when is your beta?

DCrunning...I totally understand not wanting to go on the trip. I am so thankful mine is falling in the summer and I don't have to worry about going to work! You will know the right decision to make :)

AFM...dh is working today so I finally had some free time to sit and do some personals! I am very excited because DH and I were struggling trying to figure out how we were going to freeze our embryos. There was no doubt that we were going to, but another $1,400 to freeze for a year was tough. My parents offered to pay for it, but I felt bad accepting. Then we decided we would just pull out of saving, but dh HATES pulling out of savings. Yesterday I got offered an opportunity at work to go to a Math Academy to learn to techniques to teach math which offers a $1,000 stipend for 5 sessions....FREEZING MONEY!!! I couldn't be happier! My boss even approached me asking if I would be up to it given the IVF and was very sweet-but I had to jump on it! There are another 5 sessions in the fall that come with another $1,000 stipend!

In other good news-I finish grad school on Tuesday!!! 2 years of hard work is finally over-and perfect timing too! I went for my masters with my sister, so it was nice to have someone to go through it with...and now we get to graduate together :) Graduation in June 26 and I HOPE to preggo for it!!! Wouldn't that be a nice graduation gift? DH keeps asking what I want for graduation and just keep telling him a positive pregnancy test :) I know if he could guarantee it he would. He bought a video camera yesterday for my graduation and I can't wait to use it again for a baby!

It was great to finally type a long reply again! I hope everyone is well...lots of hugs and best wishes!

HI girlies,

I swear I'll do personals later, thanks for all the good wishes, you girls are so precious! :D

I can't believe it, but all 3 frosties survived and we transferred all three. One of them looked so-so, but so did my son and look what happened... :D They never had a multiple pregnancy on FET, so we transferred all 3 without any second thought. The other two looked absolutely prefect, the transfer went extremely well and we have all the chances on our side!

I'll write more on Monday, but hugs to everyone and congrats to all the brave ER girls! :D Now let's cheer those little swimmers so they have their 30 seconds of glory... ;)

Love,

Sophie xxox

Well... out of the 5 eggs only 3 were mature enough to fertilize... I am trying to keep a PMA that all 3 will be great embies to transfer on Monday so that we can have our little miracle! I am trying not to be bummed out.
Image
PMA - you are PUPO! Congrats! 3 sounds great! thanks for the explanation on why it hurts after ER, I am quite sore. You cracked me up with your hubby-bubby quarantine :D my RE says 10 weeks! It is hard to control the dreams though  don't forget pics of the cake!
Purple - any news, lots of fertilized eggs!
rypell - isn't it funny how we get so anxious you can't wait to get your shots? :) are you a teacher? How fun to have 3 mos off to concentrate on making babies!!! and great news on the stipend, IVF can be soooo $$$ Congrats on finishing Grad school, that is awesome! And yes you deserve a baby as your gift!!!
Eshepherd - you are too sweet - thank you! How are you feeling?
mcfarland - good luck starting a business, wow that's brave, what is it about? You are PUPO which means you ARE pregnant until proven otherwise so enjoy being pregnant! And yes keep the PMA :) we never POAS because of so many false positives or false negatives.
bei - thank you for the transfer info, that is great, how are you feeling hon?
kiz - Your DH is so sweet! It can be hard on men to see us go through this because of their low numbers. It is a blessing to have them and going through IVF is a small price to pay!

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is well. I was just wondering if anyone had any spotting or bleeding on Day 3 of stims? I know I stopped my BCPs on Monday and started on Thursday with stims, I have read that this is normal and have been told I am fine, but it is easier and more believable to hear from someone who went through it. It is already slowing down.

Purplefish: I am on 300 IUs of Follistim daily. Any news on number of embies?

Rio: Here is to 3 great embies. Good Luck!!!

PMA: Great news. Sending sticky baby dust your way.

Rypell: Congrats on Grad School.

Kiz: Good luck, I hope they get the rash straightened out.

For everyone doing ERs and ETs good luck, I hope everything goes well. I am thinking happy thoughts for everyone.

Just a quick update from me=) 6 eggs fertilized, which is great. They expect about 1/2 to make it to day 5, so hopefully we are left with 3 good one. I will have the transfer on Wednesday, they call that morning with the final report before the transfer. So for now it is out of my hands, I am just eating some pineapple  and trying to enjoy the weekend.

One more of a fun note it is such a nice day (sunny and 70), we have spent the whole day outside! Also this morning was the first farmer's market of the season, we got some awesome strawberries.

Y'all I'm still so new and it's hard for me to make a personal response to everyone. I hope no one thinks I'm being rude.

Purple- I hope you have 3 wonderful eggs to transfer!!!

As for me, yesterday was my last day of BCP so now I'm waiting for AF to arrive!! So far my only side effect is being cranky!! :D

rypell1985 - I really don’t know how I’m keeping myself occupied because each night I get more anxious about it. Last time I was so miserable but this time I have no symptoms so I’m not sure if it’s good or bad which makes me more like “I want to know NOW” – I realize I just have to be patient but each night I’m like “wow, it’s only Friday…” and tonight I’m like “wow…only Saturday! I do have a “weird feeling’ sometimes and my husband’s like ‘what is it?” and I’m like “I don’t know how to describe it – it’s just a weird feeling – not pain, just weirdness” I scrapbook so I should get back to that but I’m just relaxing and enjoying my time off work – I go back on Monday so I’m not ready for that – we’ll see how that goes!

The business helped me today because I had my kickoff event and now I’m pooped! I’m so tired I almost fell asleep sitting up (ha!) but that was a lot of fun and I got to see so many of my close friends! Some of them brought their babies (which I was Ok with) as I love holding them as I know one day it will be my turn to have that joy.

I have my beta next weekend – they said I could come in that weekend instead of waiting until the Monday so I’m hoping to get in and get it taken care of – hope I have wonderful news to share with all of you!

Eshepherd – no one thinks you’re rude for not doing personals (at least I don’t!) – if you feel like it, great – If not, no worries !! Sometimes I have things to say to each person and sometimes I just like to post random comments to wish people luck! Depends on the day / how much the hormones are making me crazy ;) I’m going to blame it on the hormones until I stop getting poked in the butt with a big progesterone needle ;)

Rio - I am sorry that you don't have the number of embies you were hoping for...but it only takes one, so I will be praying that your special one is among those 3. I know exactly how you feel when you said that you are scared you used up your IVF luck on your son. That is how I feel everyday. Can I get lucky twice??

Purplefish - I am glad your ER went well and praying for your embies...

Kismit - My DH wants to do all my shots because it makes him feel involved in the whole process. I think it is sweet!

Bei - I hope the metforming is doing ok.

Ryann - Congrats on earning your Masters. I hope you get the graduation present you desire the most...a BFP!!!

PMA - Yeah for all 3 of your frosties making it for transfer. Congrats on being PUPO!!

McFarland - Congrats on being PUPO...

AFM - To the rest of you that I am sure I forgot...sending baby dust your way. I start my first lupron shot tonight. I am really nervous because this brings me one step closer to making my dreams come true (or closer to them crashing and burning if this doesn't work). My brother, who had a heart attack last week, was released from the hospital. He is doing so much better. I am so grateful for medical miracles that happen every day and blessed that his life was spared. Hoping for some of that medical miracles to come to each and every one of you (and me too), baby dust to us all!! I am looking forward to the next couple of weeks, when I am sure to see a bunch of BFPs to start posting on this site soon.

rio - good luck tomorrow! I am hoping that you have good eggs to transfer tomorrow. Let us know how it goes. Two more days of waiting for me!

lisa - I hope your shot went well tonight. I always thought the lupron was one of the easiest. I am hoping that you have a great start to a great cycle.

EShepard - don't worry if you can't do personals :D We are all here to support each other and share in what ever way we can.

Terri - did your spotting stop? How are you feeling with the stims?

Sophie - yay for the smooth transfer! I am sending some sticky sticky thoughts your way!

rypell - finishing grad school is a great accomplishment. I know it is hard waiting to start I felt like that too. Once you start though it seems to go pretty quickly though. I am also glad you found a way to have some extra money to pay for it, it can be so hard to afford everything.

I start my progesterone oil injections tonight, I was re-reading all the great tips everyone gave, so thanks for sharing.

Hi All,

Looks like everyone has been busy over the weekend! Hopefully everyone is well and all the PUPO's embies have stuck!

Not much happening at my end. Still taking the FSH inj and synarel. Had BW this morning and still waiting on results to make sure the oestrogen is coming up again. More BW and ultrasound on Friday so we can schedule ER for next week. :D Still feeling fine and the rash has started to clear up. The doc I saw first thought it was just a heat rash induced by stress and prescribed a cream which didn't seem to help at all and I think made it worse and by yesterday it was driving me nuts so I just went to a 7 day clinic and the doc there thought it more likely to be a hormone induced folliculitis infection (oh, great, just what I wanted to hear! LOL) He prescribed antibiotics and a zinc cream and thankfully it's now looking much better.
