Hello I have a question about good advice to increase a succesfull Ivf : this is my story I am planning to go for my 3 Ivf a fresh cycle, I have had 2 failed cycles the first one I got a positive Beta but ended in a suspected ectopic and the second one was frozen negative Beta both times, I overworked myself. I am a nurse I was working lot of overtime because both times we paid cash about $1,5000, I was working all shifts PM'S, NIGHT'S, and AM'S I was not getting enough sleep and not eating right, so this time We have already the down paiement for the cycle and the rest my MD agree that we will be making paiements. I really want this cycle to work ,so I am wondering if working less since I money wise we are fine and resting more would help my cycle. I am trying also to eat lot of fruits and juices rich in all vitamines and calcuim, please tell me like it is and give me advice about the kind the food i should the most. Please help I really your advices.
Thank you.

I think that improved overall health through exercise, eating right, and a proper amount of rest should help statistically, but I don't recall seeing any demonstrated evidence of that. Losing weight is known to help. Either is a benefit, regardless of a pregnancy. It's a good idea anyway.

Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Jamila – I totally understand where you are coming from. I know the stress of working as a nurse also. I’m not sure if you are in a hospital like I used to work but it can be very hectic and extremely stressful. I remember at one time, I started to develop an ulcer while working in the ICU. Not to mention, the exposure to the different diseases as well. My suggestion to you is to take off some time if possible, but if you can’t, at least not work as many hours so your body can rest, following the transfer. I have also worked swing shifts and I know how hard that can be on you to try to maintain proper sleeping habits. Good for you on working the extras shifts so you can afford your IVF!

Sorry. I should have been clearer. Losing weight is known to help some patients, mainly the obese. At 120 pounds, there is no need to lose any more weight just to improve your chances with IVF.

Jamila – Thank you so much for the congratulations! I have to agree w/ your RE and Ghost, there is no need to lose any further weight. Please just make sure you are healthy but it sounds like you are doing everything right!
So you work in a nursing home in rehab. Oh yes, I have worked in several nursing homes as well and you are so right, it can be very stressful not to mention the heavy lifting of patients. So please try to take it easy as much as possible.
I am supposed to go in for another u/s this Tuesday, so I just hope my little one is progressing normally. We heard the HB for the first time this past Monday! We were very excited but we are also trying to be realistic and we know anything can happen at any given time. So we are just taking it one day at a time.
It may be different for everyone but for me, the cycle that finally worked I made some changes before even starting the suppression and getting ready for the retrival, I cut out wine & alcohol, increased fruits, veggies & protein, excercised at least 3 times a week, got plenty of rest and stay stress free and most importantly a ton of praying. I feel like for me, I needed somewhat of a detox. Are these all why it worked? I don't know but I like to think so...
