Babyluv - My RE told me to stay on the asprin and didn't give me a time to get off. When I went to the OB he said to stop taking it thinking it could be helping the spotting. Sure enough it was gone in a few days after I stopped. Could be coincidence, but maybe not. Ktelise I believe was told to go off of it and her spotting stopped as well. Maybe if you did stop, so would the spotting? The babies have their own placentas now so you shouldn't need more blood flow. Maybe ask you RE about it? That is so cute how DD was trying to talk to the babies! Mine was playing with the twins earlier. Basically she was just feeling my belly, amazed at how hard it is getting. She was poking around and I was telling her that they are as big as my fists now and can feel her poking my belly. She looked so confused. lol So I continued to explain... it's like being wrapped up in a bunch of blankets and someone pushing on you. You can feel someone pushing but it doesn't hurt. She said... Ohhhhhhh! lol I love reading the stages each week. Good luck on your next scan. Mine is coming up soon. Can't wait to find out genders!

Angela - Much luck tomorrow for your scan. I can't wait to hear your good news! :)

Gi - Yeah, the kid was a pain but not as bothersome as the parents letting him run around being a bully and making a mess. I won't have to worry about them much anymore anyway.. they are hopefully moving. The soldier is getting kicked out of the Army for being too fat. He is trying to get out for other things though so he can claim benefits. I hope he doesn't get anything. He is just trying to manipulate the system. Anyway... yay for going shopping! I love shopping. I have to be careful from here on out on how much I spend though. I will need maternity jeans soon. My one size bigger jeans are starting to get uncomfortable when I bend over. I think I can make them last another couple weeks though.

Helene - I hope that it isn't mold, however if the shower leaks, it likely is. When you are renting, no one goes and inspects the place before each tenant and landlords try to get away with as much as they can, even the nice ones! The spores from mold can blow all over the place just like dust. Be cautious! Sorry to hear about your daughter not wanting your last name and that things have been so rough with her. Someday she will realize the errors she has made. Kids take parents for granted many times. I know I took my mom for granted, I was still a teenager when she died and I regret that terribly. I am just thankful I did get to tell her I love her before she passed. I was never a trouble maker, though I know I could have been better.

Hola ladies! I'm avoiding all productive work tonight so I've got some time to post

Stephanie-Your rant could have easily been my rant! We took all the 2nd graders to a museum (90 kids) on Friday and I was seriously in shock at what some of the parents allowed their kids to do there. I actually had to separate two students who were chasing and hitting each other in front of their parents who just let them go. In the museum...craziness to me!! I am so glad you are finishing the adoption for your DD-what an exciting event!

Helene-Your story is definitely one to giggle about after the fact (not so funny as it happens!). Sorry the move and Mother's Day were full of problems-hopefully this week is much smoother for you and your back heals.

Katie-I am so sad for you and I can tell how much you'll miss Cassie. Losing a pet is a huge deal-they are a big part of the family and give unconditional love. I can't imagine how tough it was to go through that-I pray you heal and think of good memories soon! Maybe you could frame a picture of Cassie for the baby's room so he/she has a special angel watching down.

Ronda-I used the bracelet for m/s and it really helped! It sends little pulses through your pressure point on your wrist. Maybe with the meds it would help you out? Worth a try definitely!

Angela-Is the u/s tomorrow? I'm sending you all my wishes and prayers for a great check. You'll have new beanie pics-YEAH!!!

Gi-How fun that you got to go maternity shopping! I feel like a stuffed pig in all my pants but I hate to buy things now with only 2 more weeks of work. I love the belly though-so no complaining!

Claudia-Woohoo, celebrate! Mother's Day-what a great day to share your news! I'm sure your family was over the moon.

Babyluv-I'm glad the spotting has lessened-that is a horrible thing to go through. Your girls' weekend sounded like so much fun-minus the lockout! I love that your daughter talks to the babies-how precious!!! Those are the moments I would just want to freeze and remember forever! My daughter is in kindergarten so her thing is to read to the babies each night. So cute!

AFM-I enjoyed Mother's Day with family. My DD wrote this funny page at school where she said I was 5 inches tall, weighed 14 pounds (right!!!) and as beautiful as a rose. It melted my heart! I am trying to gear up for all the crazy I have in the next two weeks. I have to move classrooms so I am busy packing/moving. Fun times ;)

Take care ladies! You're in my thoughts.

Sara - my son wrote one of those for me too! I was 43 feet tall, 12-15 pounds (HA! I like that he gave a range), and I didn't like "to hit the wall" Um...?? I think those are so cute.

Angela - omg you have back pain... oh that is terrible. I know mine is going away but you say yours will stay your whole pg?? Oh my what are you going to do? You know I use a belt now (pregnancy belt) when I am farther along and it really helps with back pain or stomach (streching) pain. Is there anything you can do to ease that? My dh wanted me to take advil but I said I don't think I can so I didn't...

You are too funny about my kids... you are so right they did listen to me ... I mean I never told them that morning they could NOT go outside although they very well know they can't go outside witout us ... What can you do the temptation was obviously too grand :) And yes my back is way better now almost like new... just a bit of a pinch when I bend to put baby down in his crib.

And no my dh's son who is turning 18 this month is still not helping. My dh is one of those fathers that perfers doing everything himself then asking anyone to help. I mean his kids. Once when I was living in TR and he was not with us for a month I was alone with the kids so I was doing laundry once a day and after I was done I would ask the kids to take their one outfit they were the day before that was clean and go put it away... I mean how hard is that... and it really helped me... well my dh when he saw me do that he though they were martyred kids... he is just too funny. So the is the same with his "adult now" child. He prefers not asking for help and do it all. I mean he could do the diswasher daily or put the garbage out or like do the grass or something but NOPE ... dh prefers doing everything... no wonder he is tired... silly him!!!

and Angela I will pray for your little baby to be ok tomorrow and progress like he should be and behond... hugs.

babyluv - glad you had a great time with your BFF... funny about the door locking behind you... it happends to my mom all hte time when she goes and smokes outside and if it doesn't happend my 4yo just decides to lock her out and locks it himself :) then she has to bribe him to get back in :) Glad you made it for your spa apt... :)

Glad your babies are doing great. I also decided to take baby aspirin and so feel better about it specially at my age and clothing can occur more often. Wise choice to stay on it. I also hope the blood stops and is all gone at your next u/s...

so you got a droppler... how wonderful I love mine. I just got it out of the box last night and can't wait to hear the hb again with all this lifting and feeling a bit of pain down there... I think I will check it out tonight.

I am also glad your DD could see the baby. When my Evan saw the baby (my 4 months old) when he was utero... he said right away "I LOVE YOU!!" that was so sweet. He is the one after him all the time at home he is such a loving little man towards baby. I bet your DD will be the same :)

steph - yes apparently stopping the baby aspirin does also stop the spotting for some cause it stops lighting (spelling) the blood and so it's ticker after.

it's nice that your DD is also playing with baby. My DD always asks me how big she (the baby) is now. So I show her my blog and we can see how she is growing she loves it. :)

yes it's too bad my teen really doesn't give a **** about me anymore. At times I wished I would be so sick and close to dying for her to care... but then I think of the others and that would not be fair to them, right now they love me :) (kids love you know, unconditional or almost ;)) I think that's the reason I love babies... they love you no matter what. Ugly, old, rinkled, grumpy, fat, messed up... they don't care they just love you... I think my T21 little man will also love me like that his whole life... that would be nice for a change :)

rayofsunshine - glad to see you have a bit of free time today. Thanks for the great wishes... I finally called my mom last night for mothers day (forgot on the actual day ops!!) What a bad daughter... of course my DD the teen didn't bother calling me either... but I am sure she celebrated with her dad's wife and the kids!!!

so you are moving classes... good you are not moving house... what a beautiful gift your DD gave you. My son gave me a card, it was so beautiful I though the daycare teacher or class teacher bought them. I though that's strange to buy a card for the kids to give to us... then at one point he explained to me how he MADE the WHOLE CARD HIMSELF!!! How he put every little bits and peaces together and how wonderful it turned out. I mean I would have bought that card out from the store... I was so impressed, almost hard to believe but the way he explained it, you could tell he worked really hard. So luckily I still have a mentol (spelling) over my fireplace and so I put all the kids gifts on it and they were so proud ;) I had my camera packed so we took phone pictures... it was cute too.

AFM - (sorry angela for the repean from the other board) well to ad to my problems where my son last week we think had ringworm on his face (not sure we could not make it to the doctor cause of the move) so I got him health product and it's gone now just the red is left. But now my DD has readness on her cheeks. Not ringworm but just read cheeks... so the teacher (daycare) said in the kindergarden classes there are a few cases of "the FIFTH"... I know someone here had a child with that... So it's ok for the kids, she is NOT in kindergarden but in Jardin but I guess close enough to them?? So she might have that. I think the only real problem with the FIFTH is when you are pg if I recall properly. Of course my dh doesn't have a clue what that is and me neither so does anyone here knows? Would appreciate the help.

btw I make spelling mistakes sometimes cause I am french please forgive me :), I just don't know how some words are spelled

thanks and I hope everyone is having a good day.

Hey girls guess what!!!

Walmart finally called (the big Walmart boss) they said I can get ALL the pictures on a second CD :) can you imagine. I don't have to re-shoot... oh boy this is a great help!!! I was hoping and praying for that. It's so hard cause we don't all fit in the van when DD is there. So she said she will call them today and I can pick up the CD tomorrow!!! Isn't it amazing!!! Oh I hope they don't yell at me when I show up!!! I could end up crying again I am so close to tears all the time.

Finally one question for you girls: Do you think ONE cup of tea is bad per day? Cause it's freeken cold in the office now and I am freezing so I normally dring tea (half tea and half orange juice) so that means I would take maybe 4 cups of (half & half) but using ONLY ONE tea pouch per day to get warm during the week... Do you think it would be ok?

Just want to warm up a bit ... always so cold. My iron is so low (can't donate blood anymore) its at like 18 and supposed to be like 70... I take vitamines (Iron and D) but it's not helping.

thanks.

Helene - I think you will be ok with drinking tea in those amounts. I think it is up to 2 cups that you are allowed. They don't like you to drink too much of course because of how it reacts with folic acid. I got my iron tested and they said it was 40 and that was really good. Maybe we go by two different number systems as far as that goes between here and there. lol Though I think I may be becoming anemic like the doc warned me.

Sara - I am right there with you. What is the point of the parents being there if they aren't going to watch their kids? When I was a kid, I never remember anyone behaving that way. Seems that now-a-days a lot of parents have just become lazy. Maybe it is mostly the young parents who never planned to have a kid but got pregnant anyway. Well, I hope the room move goes smoothly and that the next two weeks aren't too awful crazy for you. :)

Katie - I hope you are feeling better today, but take all the time you need. We understand if you aren't quite ready to chat yet. Though I miss you already! :)

AFM - Andrew went to finally fill my prescription for folate and iron and get some more tylenol for my headaches. He gets there and is told that since the doctor didn't put my name on the script that I can't get my folate. Great! Then the iron is an over the counter product, so he brings some home but it doesn't appear to match the same mg that I remember seeing on the script. So now I have to call the doc to make sure it is the right one. On top of that, tylenol was pulled from all shelves all over the town, maybe further I don't know. I haven't read that this was happening or seen it on the news. So now I am taking generic, not a bad thing just a pain in the arse that I didn't know tylenol was pulled. Well, today we go to the social worker to chit chat about DD getting adopted. I am so glad this is the last step.

Libby-yah for the blood clot decreasing!! I know how scary spotting/bleeding is but it seems as though your babies are going strong so not to worry!!

Katie-how are you today hon? I'm so sorry again for your loss I hope to hear from you soon :)

AFM....today I'm feeling a little under the weather...not nausaus or anything but just icky. Hoping it goes away (maybe will go home and take a nap) and I so can't wait until next Tuesday!!! After Tuesday is when we will officially tell people and I want to get this secret out!!!

Stephanie – thank you so much for the well wishes for my u/s today. I am glad that you got some of your meds today. I sure hope those headaches stops soon. And, good luck w/ the case worker today.

Babyluv – I will be on baby ASA until term because I have a clotting disorder. Baby ASA prevents platelets from aggregating (clumping together) and causing a clot. For me, it will help prevent blood clots from forming and clotting off the placenta and umbilical cord. There are some studies out there that suggest baby ASA will help especially for those women w/ recurrent pregnancy loses. You can also be checked if you are concerned that it is thinning your blood too much by testing your platelet level. But, a baby ASA shouldn’t make that big of a difference to make you bleed too much. Now, as far as if you already have a bleed, it could continue to make the area bleed or spot because it might prevent a clot from forming to stop the bleeding. I hope this info helps in your decision.

Sara – yeah, sometimes when I am out in public, I can’t believe what some parents let their kids do and they don’t even say a word to them. It is shocking …

I am glad you enjoyed your Mother’s Day and I absolutely love the page your DD wrote about you. It is amazing how some kids view us. That is so very cute and enjoyable!

Helene – yes, I am definitely going to take your suggestion and get a belly band. I should have bought one w/ Ashley but I just dealt w/ the pain but I think this time I am going to purchase it very soon.

Well, I agree w/ you that you need to involve your kids in chores because they need to learn how to do things in life because when they get out in the real world on their own, they will be lost and not know what to do.

As far as the tea, they say one cup a day is ok but you know they sell decaffeinated tea now. I purchased some because I wanted some tea and not the caffeine.

Here is some info on Fifth’s Disease:
Fifth disease (erythema infectiosum) is a common, usually mild illness spread through the air from an infected person's cough or sneeze. In children, it causes a distinctive “slapped cheek” rash and, less commonly, a low-grade fever, headache, sore throat and joint pain. Infected adults are less likely to develop a rash, but often experience joint pain and swelling, sometimes with mild flu-like symptoms. Symptoms generally appear between 4 and 14 days after exposure.

To reduce the risk of infection, pregnant women should wash their hands thoroughly after touching tissues used by infected children and dispose of these tissues promptly. They also should avoid sharing drinking glasses or utensils with anyone who has or was exposed to the illness. A blood test can determine susceptibility.

****Helene – the most important thing you need to do know is to notify your OB and let them know you could have been exposed to Fifth’s disease and they will order a blood test to see if you are already immune to it or if you are currently infected.

I hope that info helps you!

Claudia – I hope you feel better soon.

AFM – I had my second u/s today and the baby’s HB was 137 and measured exactly where he/she should be. I also signed the papers to have my chart to be transferred to my high risk OB today because my first appointment is next Monday. But, I probably will not be officially released from my RE until I am between 10 and 12 weeks.

Angela - Glad you got to see your little peanut! Healthy HB and all is well! I hope that helps you feel better. Thanks for good wishes today. I am sure things will go smoothly. :)

Claudia - I hope you can squeeze that nap in and feel better. YAY for next Tuesday! Funny how we all are supersticious on telling people too soon. I couldn't hold it in but I did wonder if I jinxed it. Then after I told people it was twins I wondered if I spoke too soon because of the whole vanishing twin thing. At least we all seem to have that in common. lol

Helene - Thanks for the link. I heard about the baby tylenol and baby motrin, but I wasn't aware that everything was being taken off the shelves. Oh... by the way. Don't worry about your spelling... spelin dunt kownt! ;)

Helene - Fifth's went around my kids' preschool a few months ago (right before I got pg) and a few of the pg moms were definitely worried. They are all fine, but always good to check with your OB, right?

Evening girls,

Angela i am so delighted everything went well....another hurdle to tick off.

Steph sorry to hear your headaches are still here, any reason why tyendol was removed??

Helene i did try on some pants a size bigger than i normally am while it fitted in the waist it was too big around the bum and legs so i tried the maternity ones and got a great fit you wouldnt think they were maternity pants. Its safe to drink a couple of teas a day i usually have 2 but i stay away from sodas etc. a little bit of everything is fine.

babyluv i am also on asprin till 32 wks for recurrent m/c it does no harm and has more benefits. Hows the bump growing with the twins??? How funny you got locked on balcony could have been worse could have been all night!!!!

Sara what a cute letter from your little one...precious moments.

Karen hows the twins doing?? You must be getting big now.

Katie i know you are staying away while you grieve for Cassie but hope all is ok. How is your pup doing without him, prob lost.
