to have fun-
my story sounds similar to yours- been trying for about 3 years. only had the chance to do 1 IUI (failed). i'm unfortunately not a candidate for clomid, i have a strong history of breast and ovarian cancer in my family so the dr.s recommended going straight to ivf (high level of hormones over a short period of time) rather than cycling with IUIs. I'm about to start my stim shots next week and expect to do ET sometime during the week of nov. 2nd. it's a long time coming so i'm really excited. just wondering how i'm going to get used to the shots...and of course praying every day...
this is my first time on the message board. i'm so happy to find this!
good luck to all!
Hi Libby... Good luck with your cycle. The first shots are the hardest but you will be an old pro in no time. The worst ones are PIO but when you get to those, you realize you will do anything to keep those embies growing inside of you so it is well worth the trouble. There is actually a Nov/ Dec 2009 board that you will probably get more use out of. I started this board Sept 2008, and there are a few of us still talking to one another on it. Most of the gals either have had their babies, moved on or are like me and cycling again.

Wow that was strange to see a post on this. Glad to see everything is going well you all of you and your little babies. I am still struggling. Still not one BFP. Don't know what I will be doing next.

Hi everyone! It's so good to hear from you all. I thought this board was history but just happened to check and there you all were! I've also been wanting to cut back to part-time because I feel like I'm missing out on so much with my Caitlyn but can't afford to with my husband still out of work. It makes me sad but I try to remain thankful that at least I have a job. I'd love to keep hearing from you all. Does anyone want to share personal email addresses or keep posting on this board once in awhile?
