Traumatic Accident Mentionned

Post by lycase »

Angela - I am sure everything is ok dear.

Seph - Oh I am so glad the trick worked today for you girl. We were really getting worried now :) Oh good think. I know what you mean about one ring off. I have 2 wedding ring and one I never wear cause it's bigger so picky and I hit it everywhere so sometimes I feel awkawrd now having either.

So shopping for a new bra hey!! I did that 2 weeks ago too :)

I knew your bleeding would stop when you don't take BA anymore

gi - Actually this week I started telling the girls at work just cause it came on the subject... I wanted to wait cause if I am done on July 2nd what's the point. Anyways it slipped out.

and you gi how are you doing with everything?

babyluv - funny you mention about 12w I was also wondering when the first tri would be done so I stop worring about mc. Yes I hate the way my boobs look when I am pg. They are so dark... not too pretty!!

how are you doing with 2 in there!!

claud - well glad everything is ok for you girl. You are doing great.

AFM - gi talk about stress in moving. Well although I am working hard on the house and basement this weekend. The house is getting very dangerous. My dh brought everything back and he just dumped everything in the entrance way... I mean that is stupid, how are we supposed to get out in case of a fire. Good thing we have the back door too. But he is like that it's his way of showing me I have too much stuff. Kinda rebellious you know. So anyways I saw the car seat for baby barried and I though omg he is not going to find that when he will need it... so a few days later and of course with my memory I forgot where I saw the car seat. Anyways I went to church with everyone except the baby who was left with dad cause I didn't know where the car seat was. But at the mass my favorite priest was there and so I asked him to wait for me to go back home and get baby with his baptism chair (cross) so he could bless it and him. So I drove quick back home and as I got into the door I told dh I needed baby asap... So he has this tendency to act ridiculous sometimes when I am in a rush and so he said well here is baby ... I said well what will I do about the car seat so we took another one we had in the garage put it in the car and as I went to buckle him in dh noticed the straps were missing... so I could not take that car seat so since he was holding the seat in the van I turned away to try and see if I could not find the other seat and then I turned back and saw a nightmare... I saw Jamie (baby) fall face first on the ground... he started screeming and I was glad to hear him scream but I though he is going to dye... I was freeking of course and wanted to hold me and see how he was and dh just kept holding him not letting me pick take him from him... I asked what happened and he said because he didn't have his buckels when he took the car seat out and put it on the ground as he put it on the ground Jamie decided to flip and he fell out of the seat and rollover onto the pavement... You know what .... that is NOT what I saw... but the story sounds right because baby only had scraches on the side of his face. Red and no bleeding. I asked if he fell hard, should we bring him to the hospital and he tried to re-assure me that he was already on the ground when he fell (which is NOT what I saw) and only rolled on the pavement...

And then he starts saying that I need anger management... I could not believe it... he drops him and I AM THE ONE WHO NEEDS MANAGEMENT??? I told him maybe it is him who needs it... if he would not have been so mad about me wanting to take him back with me and acking reckless it would not have happend.

You know the way he left the house last night and today I bet you anyone can fall on thos boxes and other stuff and can get hurt but he is just irresponsible when he wants me to get a message (I have too much stuff).

So Of course I didn't talk to him all day and he kept on appoligizing and asking me if Jamie forgives him... I mean it is an accident. Jamie's Downs Syndrome makes him more fragile then other babies because he cannot hold himself up yet, like his head and body like other babies same age as hime... he does it to me all the time he will just all of a sudden throw himself backwards or frontward and if you don't hold me very very good you could easily drop him... I am always so afraid of dropping him, at any moment... he is so floppy.

So I am starting to think this house is curse now?? So of course again he said he is moving out and finding another place after I said I was moving out... those things are silly... I guess it's just the anxiety and everything...

So next week I have tons of apts (house sell, IPS Scan, photos) and stuff to do... lets hope I don't get anymore troubles.

Ok Steph, I think I've decided I'll do the baby aspirin for one more week, until I am 13 weeks instead of 14 like my RE said. If I stop spotting before then, maybe I'll stay on, if not then I think that will be it. Sigh, I wish I just knew if it was helping at all. At least it's not harmful I guess.

Helene - Wow, you have had such an eventful weekend. I am so sorry it was so stressful for you. By the way, I love the name Jamie! I sure hope he is doing ok. If he seems sleepier than normal or crying excessively for no apparent reason, then maybe you need to get him checked out. I’m sure he will be fine but you can’t be overly cautious.

I think once everything settles down regarding the unpacking; it will not be as stressful for you and your DH. Please just try to stay positive and keep taking care of yourself and the baby you are caring.

babyluv - I think it's good to continue the aspirin until second trimester... than it should be safe. I am on it too but not sure when I should stop I kinda just started a few weeks ago but think I'm going to stay on cause of my age and danger of bloodclot.

dodo - congrats on being PUPO... I hope you get your bfp also. how many did you transfer? So you did donor egg how cool, I did that in 2008 but it didn't work. Good for you and hope it works.

Angela - well yes baby is just like he is naturally. Happy, giggling and smiling... it's almost all gone now (the scratches). I did ask again how he fell and he told me he was holding the car seat when he fell out so my dhis 6f1 so we can imagine about where the sear would have been from the ground and so about 1 foot I'd say and that is what I saw I saw him fall off a distance but he only has scratches so all is good.

so this week the house is supposed to be sold, supposed to sign the papers on Thursday so that would be great. No more worries and then we could focus on our home situation... I am hoping this week will get things out of the way a bit more so it's a safer place...

I also have a test for the government for a full time job... well I never pass the tests so not holding my breath. What would be nice is I could be home with baby... I mean when I have this little baby... I could maybe get one year off that would be so overwelming... I never had that with my little ones only with my teen and I could only take 6 months... And if I do get a full time job then my situation would be so much more stable. Less money but on a regular basis and 100% coverage with meds and everything... so lets see if it is in God's plan now??

I hope you girls had a better weekend then me again !!!

Hi everyone -

Sorry that I was MIA these past few days, being the smart girl that I am I managed to cut the outside cable line with the weed wacker and then had to beg the cable company to come and fix it. They really take their time when its your fault
I've been feeling pretty good, but other than extremely sore boobs I dont have any symptoms at all, which always makes me nervous. I can finally make the appt for my anatomy scan for next week - but that still seems so far away. Now I'm starting to wish that I'd gotten that at home Dopplar. It doesnt seem like my belly has changed at all. After this long week after Cassie"s passing - I could definitely enjoy some good news. Its funny that this past week my young pup Gracie has now taken to being "Velcro Puppy" where before she was much more independant. I dont reaaly mind, but I cant even take a shower without her pawing /whining at the door - but its such a small bathroom that if I let her in - I wouldnt have a place to step out of the shower!

Hazel - I'm so sorry to hear that your Dad is having to wait a whole week for his Drs to have their conference, I sure hope that you get more insight to whats what on Wed. I have you in my thoughts & prayers

Angela - I also had those odd ovarie located pains, every now & again even up until last week, try not to worry. have a great u/s today - its always a good day when you get to have another u/s, isnt it?

Steph - Whew! I'm glad that you were finally able to get your rings off. I know that it must feel strange without them, but better than having someone tell you that they'll be cut off! Eeek! I couldnt bear it! I hope that you can just wear them around your neck for a bit - they are closer to your heart that way  Ummm, yup nips are soooooo sensitive that even the water in the shower hurts, so of course thats always when you find yourself bumping things right? I managed to bump my chest on the doorway yeasterday ( I never look where I'm going) and wow - owwwww!

Claudia - Ooooh, I love the way your bump looks! So perfect and cute! I dont see any change with mine at all - but of course I think it shows much faster on girls who start out with no tummy at all ( I started out with extra belly weight) but I'll try to post a new pic this week sometime. Good Luck at your NT scan tomorrow! Maybe you'll be lucky enough to hear which gender you've got in there!

Helene- Oh how scary it must have been to see little Jamie fall! I'm so happy that he is alright! Please be careful trying to get all those boxes put away
Its hard to go easy when you really want to see the house put together - but you have to - mama

Babyluv - I hope that your spotting stops soon!

Gi - Hooray for being done with the steroids so now you can get a full nights rest!

Dodo - OMG! You were gone for so long I didnt know what to think! I'm glad that you are feeling better and now you're PUPO! When is your beta scheduled for? I hope that your 2ww goes quickly and I'll be keepijg an eye out for your BFP! - xoxo

Ya I don't know ... they should just remove that user? Maybe we should let the owner know?

Lycase- I'm glad baby is ok. Your husband sounds very immature. Who "sends a message" by leaving a bunch of stuff in the hallway. Sounds like a serious talk is needed between you guys. If you don't work as a team, life is gonna be rough. And he needs to take "how to be a grown-up" class in lieu of your anger management. Sorry if I sound judgemental or critical. I just don't have patience for immature, stupid acting men. I hope things improve for you and baby. xoxo Karen

Oh you don't know how good it feels to be told maybe I am not the problem for once. He always says it's always my fault... I also find him immature when he tries to show me something when indangering others... and when I told him wow strange baby didn't get hurt more then he did do you know what he replied?

He said well it's not as bad as when Nick fell out of the shopping cart, I mean he fell straight down on the hard grochery store floor.. I almost lost my mind... I said when did this happend?? I don't remember that... well he said it was 4 years ago when I was alone in Trois-Rivieres (the house we are trying to sell) and I took them to the grochery store and he fell out... then I recalled him telling me this years ago... but then I though my what is it with man??? I think he is being careless really!!! I can't believe he didn't even go the hospital with him then... ???

boy oh boy...

Stephanie- Hi there. Yes, my belly is feeling heavy. I've been doing prenatal yoga DVD's a few days of the week (which helps with some of the fatigue and leg/foot aches). They would help you, too, with the swelling. Also, watch your sodium intake. I notice when I eat more salty stuff my fingers feel puffy. I walk the dog three times a day, too, for atleast 20 minutes each walk. That's about all I can stand to do most days. My sleeping patterns have really contributed to my fatigue I think. When I see my OB today I'm going to ask about using Benadryl for a sleep aide. It is suppose to be safe. I don't want to use it every day. But like today...I'm so damn tired b/c I was up at 2:30AM and finally just got up after laying there until 4am...and then went back to sleep at 6am...only to have to get up at 8am to walk the dog. And now I have construction guys here replacing the leaky window in the nursery. So no nap right now. Endless days of this kind of disrupted sleep can't be good.

My OB put me on iron from the very beginning b/c he said nearly all multiple pregnancies cause low iron levels. I take a stool softener every day to help keep things moving. Some days it helps more than others. I noticed on days when I eat an apple going to the bathroom is easier. I'll post a pic later today of my belly. I definitely look pregnant now. My DH looked at me the other day with amazement and said, "wow, you are really pregnant, indeed". I just laughed with a big grin...b/c it was kind of cute. It's really setting in more and more now. I'm starting to build my babies r us list and pick nursery bedding, etc. It's kind of fun but overwhelming a bit! But I'm so happy to be growing my little ones inside me! Can't wait to meet them! woo whoo!

can't wait to see your belly pictures karen. Here is mine for today.

I tried to hold my large stomac due to other pg to try and only see this little one popping out

My belly is a mess cause I don't have a belly button so it's square instead of round. Sorry about that it's pretty ugly!!!

Hi angela,

I started to wean off the steroids at 12 wks so was finished at 12wks 5 days, i last got tested for killer cells at 8 wks and my levels were below normal so did one more round of Intralipds to keep them that way for a few wks. The do return as they but once the baby makes it to 12 wks its safe as it develops its own immune system and is well able to fight them off, i think the steroids is more to do with helping recurrent miscarriages and clot disorders and assisting in healthy blood flow to the womb but after 12 wks you dont need them anymore. I hear you on been nervous till end of pregnancy sure i was just saying to jason an hour ago that maybe i will relax after next scan he was like " you said that last time"!! You have been thro. so much so all your feelings are normal its a pity someone couldnt knock us out now and wake us up after the birth  Good luck tomorrow
