Just curious if any RE suggests using DHEA with IVF? I was considering taking prior to my IVF planned in June but wasn't going to inform my RE and just see what happens? Any information on DHEA or suggestions?

DHEA is controversial and their haven't been a lot of studies. Some clinics, think DHEA is great for older ladies with POF. There is one lady I know that did DHEA for 11 months, at the beginning her AFC was I believe less then 10 by the time she did her last cycle 11 months later her AFC was around 25. The controversial part is does it hurt or help egg quality. The clinic I go to believes that DHEA ups the amount of testosterone and androgens in the body and that isn't good for egg quality. The problem with IVF is that there are so many Dr. and they all have beliefs of their own. So my recommendation is do what you think i right for yourself. Also from what I have read you need to take DHEA for at least 3 months to have any effect.

Excellent post.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

I don't know if it's a good idea to keep it a secret (though I suppose my doctor never asked if I was taking it, so he doesn't know), but I have been taking it for the last 6 months or so, and had a successful IVF implantation. I did it for other reasons, and don't know if it really had anything to do with the success, but you never know I guess.
