I am 37 years old. this is my second ivf cycle, first one failed. I had a tubal ligation done about 14 years ago. I have four daughters ages 21,19,17,16. I vowed never to have kids again. I was not happy and just wanted to be alone, for the rest of my life. That was until I met my Dh, he is great and I really do love him. He has one child that we are raising together and we want to have a baby of our own. Here is my story, I had a tubal reversal in May 2010, and then a few months later got pregnant naturally, but ended up ectopic. I had to have an emergency surgery and both my tubes were removed. Our only way we would be able to have a baby was through Ivf. My first ivf cycle I had produced 4 follices and 4 had eggs fertilized.The RE said he was going to transfer 3 embryos and all three were 8 cell grade one.
Sadly none attached and my first ivf failed (That was in March 2010) . I started my second cycle on April 26th and I only produced 3 follicles and all were fertilized. However, only two made it. My Dr. told me i have two 8 cell embryos that were grade one he said they were beautiful embryos. I am now 7dpt and am not feeling no sypmtoms. I took a hpt on 6dpt and it was a bfn was it too early? is anyone out there like me? only a few follicles and a failed ivf with a new cycle being a success? I feel very sad, and don't feel like nothing is going to work for me.
