rio - i m so sorry hun , i m thinking of u sweetie , i hope u find ur peace but its nice u hear didnt lose ur hopes and want to try again , i would like say something i m from minnepolis and i came to chicago for my treatment ,i know its expensive but not more than our dreams right so if u spending like 10000 to 13000$ u have to pick right re right . i think in india they do it 3000$ to 4000$ try to look online it might helps .try to find out of county that might be cheaper.

rio hunny... I'm so sorry to hear the news... You always think you're prepared, but then the news arrive and you still are in shock. I'm sending you a big hug and I wish I was there to do it in person. Take care of yourself, take the time necessary to recover from this... it's hard to have hopes and then have them taken away. In a way, though, better now than in a couple of weeks...

Rio- I am so terribly sorry for your results. In regard to your question about prices, my first 2 IFV's were in the $11,000-12,500 range including ICSI, ALL out-Of-Pocket. This go round we went with Donor Eggs (I am 40) and "shared risk" for almost $20,000. I don't know where in CA you live, but I do know that there is a clinic in Las Vegas (of all places) that has really good success rates. If I can answer any other questions, just ask- and I will try to answer! it is such a difficult journey.

As for me, I have mixed emotions about my BETA coming up on Thursday. I am optimistic and scared at the same time Yikes!

bril - sending you tons of baby dust for Thursday! Our clinic is small but seems to have good statistics. They are not super expensive but to be honest with you we have seen some folks at our clinic that cannot possibly be paying what we are and in CA insurance does not cover IVF, so I am wondering if they have different rates for different people... I am not trying to be judgemental at all and everyone deserves a baby! But we deserve a financial break too!

Rio- I am so sorry for your loss honey. I cried this morning for you as I was getting ready for work. I'm glad you have been able to find the strength to keep trying. I will ask my ER about IVM clinics in CA tomorrow when I go in. However I have heard there are only like 10 in the country. Not sure if this is true or not? I know another is in the NY area.

Kitty- you mentioned progesterone supps...OMG I guess I overlooked any comments on these darned things. I just started them for the first time 4 days ago. EWWWWWWW GROSS! I thought I magically peed my pants. I was freaking out. I definitely do not like these. However, as a very frequent traveler I do have to say that so far this seems easier to go through security with instead of shots.

Well ladies...I am heading to bed rather early. I have been awake and working since midnight EST. Still waiting on DH to log on the computer and chat. I'm trying to be very well rested for ET tomorrow night. I'll see you all in the morning!

I had my baseline this morning and I am not ready to start stims on Thursday. I started bcp today until Sunday, another u/s and b/w next Thursday and will begin stims that night. Looks like my new ER date is 6/14

Just an update on my situation, well since my last blog the bleeding got a bit heavier when wiping and had a bit on the pad but today its not that bad. So just got to wait for thurs now and we will see what happens. Im ok just in pain wish these cramps and pains would go argggg Anyway speak to you all soon cross your fingers for me. I am going to do personals in a little while.

Just wanted to pass along that I had my ER today and it went well! I was so nervous but I guess I didn't need to be. They said they were going to give me a little medication to make me feel groggy but I was so tired from not sleeping the night before that I passed right out and had to stay a little longer in recovery just to wake up. oops!! They were able to get 7 eggs. My doctor was happy, he said he really didn't think he'd be able to get that many with all of the issues I had going in. They will call me tomorrow and let me know if I will have a 3dt or a 5dt. I'm hoping for a 5 day because I feel it might be more successful but I dont know!! EECCCKK
