Sue - Nicky Clarke hey - does he still ram his hairmousse down the front of his leather trousers? Dagny might know - she knows loads of things!
Jules thanks re the pelvic floor - will remember that and remind you when I am in floods (tears or otherwise  )

As for Daniel well Sue think how upset you would have been if he had trundled off and not shed a tear for his mummy - he is bound to do this and am sure he will get used to it and enjoy it - are you back part time?

Loads of Love

Hi there

I am here, and I have finished Sal's Diaries. I am now fully upto date for the next year :D How can a place like Summer Bay be so small and have so many car crashes and near death experiences????? I mean every time someone goes missing they invariably get foung crawling out of 'the bush' and saved by the bay villain and get all their street cred back and becomes a hero. I ask you??? The hospital beds are kept warm by at least one person each week in a coma

I have become quite cynical about it now. The parentage of all the residents is always questionable too.

I know, I know it's only a soap!!!!!! Get a life I hear you all cry - I am trying to, honest.

Sue - I agree with Tracey if Daniel didn't cry you would have felt just as bad. I used to be a Nanny (for my sins) for 13 years and the times the parents hovered around waiting for the child to cry was rediculous. The times the child cried for the initial door closing ended within seconds and go on with what they were doing, they cried more and for longer in the evening when I left!! Daniel will get used to it in time as hard as it is for you he will be fine I am sure. Don't worry, but I know you will because it's only natural. Be brave :?

Missing Katelyn like mad today for some reason  I did have a vivid dream about her the other night which may account for it. It's a weird feeling thinking about what could and should have been.

Hope you are all well today

Hi Trace

Finished catching up with the Bay now????

I have considered getting a pastel done by that lady. My Dad scanned one of Katelyn's photo's that the midwife took and put an opaque wash over it on his computer photo imaging thing (?) and it looks like a pastel drawing. I will try to send you it so you can see. We have that on in a frame as she looks so serene. People are astonished at how peaceful she looks and like she is asleep too.

Take care

YEs caught up and then had a sleep for ages - after watching Neighbours.
Sounds a lovely idea about the paste. Without wanting to upset anyone - Bev's little girl Trinity was a bit battered to say the least - she had died a few days earlier at least due to the cord around the neck and ......... well won't go in to detail. Suffice to say when the lady does them she takes all these "bits" out and that is why she looked asleep. Katelyn looked asleep and peaceful anyway but it is such a lovely picture it quite took my breath away and they are hanging it in the bedroom as her DH feels it is more personal than a photo (which are in the lounge) I feel photos are more personal and so does Bev but she is thrilled anyway. Did I tell you she is 8.5 weeks pg - she is 44 so will be her last chance really! Fingers crossed - you next!

Hi Tracey

I am so pleased that your friend Bev is PG again. It gives me more hope too. I was talking to David about our next treatment today (he's at home today - office work piling up!) and my main fear is having the 'line' put in to my hand for EC. I have really small veins and have a tendancy to de-hydrate and it really bloody hurts. I have had so many put in into every vein possible and now have a complete phobia of them. My veins shrink when the doctor comes at me with a venflon, Aaaaarrrggggg

It's going to be 'OK' I know but I have to flap about something.

Did you get the photo ok Katelyn that my Dad did??

Give my very best to Bev.

Love Dagny xkx

Ohh Dagny

Know what you mean - when I had my ectopic she tried to get a cannula in and buggered it as I am of the small variety too - it blew my hand up and she had totally stuffed it up! I still have the scar. When it came to Oliver's birth then I was all over the place and told the nurse what happened - she said she would tell the lady who did them and it was the same lady but I did not like to upset her - I ask you - she did do it properly though.
With EC and it's a while now as I have had 3 FET's! They give a General A so don't have that problem - is there anyway around it. Can they anaesthetize the area first?
Did not get the photo - when did you send?

Hi

Yes I did tell David and he laughed  thankfully. You were spot on though coz he did look like it!!

As regards to venflon's and cannula's if I kick up enough stink they put 'baby' cream  that they use on children to numb the area slightly but it depends on who is on. I usually demand an anaesthetist to come and do it but if I am on a ward the clumsy hoofed nurses do it and that's when I go ape $hit :x I had a general anesthetic for my first 2 EC's but there were no beds for my recovery for the 3rd EC so had to have sedation but still had a line in each time. One time the docs tried 8 times to get one in until I was crying so much they had to give up for a bit. Then they got the head anaesthetist in and he managed it - just  I have spent so many times in hospital that the nurses get really worried if my hand or arm swells up and it needs changing. I think I have got a name for myself. David said they will be naming a ward after me soon

Still, it's a small price to pay if I get my +ve!!!

I sent the picture of Katelyn at 3.20 this avo.

See ya love Dagny xkx

I'm sure you're both right and he'll be fine, it's just a case of him settling in, and getting to know the people there.

I'm going to be working 3 days a week, and for 2 days my mom will be having Dan, so he's only going to be at nursery one day a week. I think the only problem with that though is that it might take him longer to settle in.

Oh well.......has to be done, so I just need to deal with it.

How am I going to cope though without my daily fix on here while he's napping!

Sue.x

p.s I plumbed the depths last night when I had a look for an Emmerdale site to find out the relationship between the Sugden men! And if anyone could tell me why Tom King is avenging his dead wife then I'd really appreciate it..........

Hi Sue

I am sorry I can't tell you about Tom King as Emmerdale is the only soap I don't watch!!!! I used to but it's got a bit silly I think, and this coming from the person who gets stressed when they miss an episode of Nighbours or H&A!!! Coz the story lines there are believable - NOT!

Yeah, Daniel will get used to it and I bet he'll love having his Granny cooing over him for two days. My Mum lives 200 miles away so when we eventually get a baby she will be chomping at the bit to spend some quality time with her grandchild - My Dad say's she never needs and excuse to come back to Surrey and stay and catch up with all her old cronies  A little baby is the best excuse ever! Praying hard it will happen one day.

Must go, DH is knocking seven bells of poo out of the stair well and it sounds like world war 3 out there - gotta go and supervise :? Well, make some tea for him at least  That's girls help!

Take care

Hi Sue

Just re-read some of these posts and realised that you actually went looking for an Emmerdale site!!!!!! And you have the audacity to call me, Tracey and Jules saddo's  Well join the club Honey!!! I can't believe I missed that bit of your post!!!!!!

I hope you feel suitably told

I presume you are back at work tomorrow?? Did you get your Nicky Clarke hair do, or was it more Super Cuts  ???

Good luck for tomorrow though and hope Daniel doesn't cry too much for his Mummy - He will be fine.

Tracey - Now why on earth would I know if Nicky Clarke rams his mousse down his leather trousers? I may know a lot (?) but not THAT much!!

My house is a bomb site  Dh has mullered our stairs, bedroom and en-suite!!!! It will be worth it in the end I hope.

Hope you all had a good weekend.

............I SO feel suitably told! But, you know how I like to shift blame. well I think it's the fault of you saddo's for giving me the idea in the first place.

.......No, you're right, I'm a total saddo!

Yeah, back at work tomorrow, and first job will be to ring salaries to find out why I haven't been paid. My maternity leave ended in March, so between then and now I've been on annual leave. So in April I was looking forward to my first proper pay packet. Bit slack I suppose to have only just noticed, but I've got that used to there hardly being any money going in, that I just didn't realise.

Nicky Clarke couldn't fit me in at short notice, so I had to make do with Melinda at Super Cuts, and a very nice job she made of it too.

Sue.x

p.s your hubby doesn't do things my halves does he!? .....bet there was loads of tea making going on.

Dagny know you are at Asda now and Sue you are at work - yikes awful thought! Hope you get your pay sorted and dan is ok!

WE are all saddos and should be proud. How was the Melinda cut? Do you think it might take off - the style not your hair

Sure David is not mullering the stairs etc to see how much housework you are doing? or not  Reckon it is a test!

Get out the yellow pages and get someone in and you can still stay at number 4!

Hello

I am back now. David needed the laptop last night  so I couldn't log on.

My house is so dusty from David's demolition day on Sunday and just thinking about cleaning wears me out. I think I'll watch telly instead

Sue - Hope your return to work wasn't too traumatic and you got your pay. How was Dan??

Tracey - David doesn't need to spy on me as he knows what a shirker I am!!!!! :? I would love to get a cleaner but as I don't work it's a bit extravagant wouldn't you say?

Lots of catching up to do. One day off the site and so much goes on
