Hi Kel, welcome aboard the rollar coaster.
I think it varies from clinic to clinic regarding down regging. I sniffed suprecur 4 times daily for 7 days before starting stim injections but Bron has been sniffing for a long time.

Hi everyone.
Hope u r all ok with your cyle. I hope you don't mind me joining in, have been reading posts for a while. I'm a first timer too
I've just done my last injection and am going for egg collection on Friday
which is a bit nerve racking. I'm really pleased to have got this far as last Monday 26 the clinic were thinking of cancelling my cyle since my eggs weren't growing - so they doubled my stims and on my last scan had five so fingers crossed. Anyway just wanted to say to all you May Cyle buddies hang on in there Good Luck everyone.

Best of luck for friday I am sure your eggys will be fine I had very slow growers Only 2 and after a load of screaming and crying not to let it be cancelled they let me go another 2 days and I got 4 eggs with grade A embryos to put back.

Dont worry you have a week to catch up and it sure sounds good that you have that many follies by upping the dose they will grow alot quicker you really didnt want to go on a high dose to start for the risk of overstimming as that is very painfull , hang in there it will work out ok .

i'm afraid i'm bit of a old hand at this ivf lark and would love to join you this month. I have just got my af and have phoned the clinic and picked a donor for di in about 2 weeks. so will have to cut down on the booze and fags and get my self together for yet another 2 week wait.

Nice to see be have a couple more on the roller coaster in may. I went for another blood test this morning as requested-only to be told that there was a team meeting going on and what was i doing there
Well after a bit they soted it out but the clinic is closed tomorrow so I have to wait until Sat for the results.........hay just another wait

Bron your clinic doesn't sound very organised. I have my fingers crossed that your results on saturday will mean you can start stimming. And it will be about time too!
Nickie, how are the injections going? Are you giving them to yourself or is DH doing it. My DH came at me with the syringe and I thought 'No Way - I'll do it myself'. It was a bit weird at first but I find it easier now.
I was supposed to go for a scan today to see how my follies were growing. BUT on Wednesday night I started getting cramping on my left side. It continued off and on during the night and into the morning. I rang the clinic and they said to come in so I scanned yesterday. They put it down to a growth spurt. I now have 8 good sized follies and several smaller ones. They think I will be ready for EC next Thursday. The cramps have continued on today. Has anyone else had this sort of cramping. They said I could take paracetamol. I do have endometriosis and I wonder if this has anything to do with it. I would have thought that I wouldn't be getting pain though because of all the down regging drugs. Any advice would be welcomed.

Shellie - your cramp pains are quite normal, even though horrible, I remember having these syptoms myself last October, it is the drugs reacting with your ovaries and stimulating them.
Nickie - glad you are injecting now, how's it going?
Bron - more waiting......... I guess you have become immune to it you poor thing.
I have had my first week of down regging injections over with, another 2 weeks to go, then hopefully stim injections.

Lotti - just wondered how you are feeling on the d.reg injection at the mo? I had mine on Tuesday, and since Wednesday had really bad cramp pains all day since which is unusual.. Thought AF would stop too, but have I got that wrong? Has anyone else felt really crampy on this stage??

Hope all is going well with everyone. It is a horrible day and on Thursday the clinic told me to start resting so I layed in bed all morning and watched Shrek.
Nickie good luck for your scan on Monday. Hope you have lots of follies growing nicely. I did have headaches while down regging and when I started stims. They have gone now. Hopefully they will only last a couple of days for you. I wasn't sure if it was the drugs or the fact that I have given up coffee, tea and chocolate. I don't drink a lot of coffe/tea to have withdrawal but I am a chocoholic!
Kel, I didn't get cramps with the down regging but I certainly have them now with the stims. They started on Thursday and I had a scan which showed things were growing but since then the cramps are getting worse and occur ever 2 hoursish. I hope they go away after EC.
