Ghost? High Beta?
Just got my beta today...BFP! But the number my RE gave me seems kinda high for a first beta ( i am 10dp5dt)..it was 223. Ghost/anyone, does this seem too high?

That's perfectly normal for a good pregnancy at that point.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Congratulations!
My first beta at that time was 212. I have beautiful B/G twins now! With my older daughter (singleton) my beta was 160.
There is a website where women post their betas so you can see what's average for a singleton and what's average for a twin pregnancy -- sorry I can't remember the site, maybe someone reading this can post it? I believe 100 was average for one baby and 200 was average for twins. But, I remember asking Ghost about my beta at the time and he thought it was probably one baby whereas the nurse at my clinic thought 212 was high. We had a discussion about how some clinics seem to run "higher" than other clinics.
Ghost is always right it seems. But, this time I'm very glad he was wrong

You are correct that some labs do seem to produce different numbers than others. Maybe our lab tends to produce higher numbers than some others, so I am used to higher numbers. Anyway, at my clinic, 200 is very typical for a good single. But there is no way to tell from the hCG alone, and sometimes we get twins at half that level and singles at double that level. The ultrasound is much better for that purpose.

My first number 11dp3dt was 257 and my second was 1448 and I am currently 9w2d with a single. My RE told me my number was solid and not necessarily high as I was concerned.

My second number was 2 days later and it did not quite double. I think i got nervous about that and Ghost reassured me b/c the increase was still above some threshold.
Oh, and I didn't mean to imply that one should wish for twins. It's just that now that they are both here I can't imagine not having one of them

Mellie, sounds like mine. 2nd beta two days later and it didnt quite double. I was concerned also but felt reassured after hearing from my RE as well as Ghost and Tammy. I will be happy with what ever i can have...twins or single, I'd still be so blessed!

Hi Everyone! Just had my Beta on Friday at 15dp3dt and it was 1107. Any thoughts? Is this to high? Should i be concerned?

I'm by no means any kind of expert but my first beta today was 426 at 12dp5dt. If you don't mind me asking...where is your RE? We live kind of close to each other. What was your first beta numbers and when?

My RE is Dr Bruce Rose...Infertility Solutions. That was my first beta at 15dp3dt, which was on Fri. 6/4. I went for my second Beta today and im still waiting on my results. Where are you from? And what RE do you go to?

This is actually my 2nd IVF/ICSI through him, i had the first one in February and it ended in a miscarriage at 6wks. Which i completely took it extremely hard, but he reassured me about my 2nd chance. The first time he transfered 2 embies, and this time he transfered 3. I had my transfer on May 21nd. Maybe we've passed each other in the waiting room/office. But yeah, we'll definately have to keep in touch and ill let you know what my second beta is, im hoping i get it by tomorrow morning. When is your second Beta?
