i think i got my BFP at like 8dp5dt...but it was really a faint line but i could see it still.....i think you should be okay ....monday will come real quick, just stay busy this weekend ...best of luck to you

Hi Susie- Welcome! yes the 2 ww was torture for me also. But then after that, its the wait until the first U/S, thats what Im on right now. I feel a little more confident now that I had my BFP and my beta numbers went up on the 2nd beta but still kinda nervous about the first u/s and hoping to see that sac and maybe even a heartbeat. All I tried to do during my 2ww was keep my mind busy but i did POAS several times lol and since I had a BFP with that, it kind of gave me a reasssurance that i might probably be pregnant when I went for my beta. good luck to you and hope all goes well! oh and how many embryos did you transfer and on what day?

Hi

First time rounder so not sure of all the abbreviations. Am 40 year old with unexplained infertility. Had ER on Mon 31 May (11 eggs collected - 7 fertilised) and ET on Thur 3 June (2 embryos) - 2 frozen. Am now playing the waiting game. Bloodtest due on 14 June. Sore boobies, some mild cramping and a monster migraine after egg transfer. Am trying hard to stay positive but realistic at the same time.

Will keep an eye on other May Cycle buddies to watch progress. There are some very strong and brave women out there (and their partners/husbands too of course). I know IVF has to be done if you really want a baby but it's not easy and also not something that you can openly share with all around you.

OK so I know everyone told me to stay away from the stick. I can't help myself. I'm bored. Hubby's flight diverted to Boston because there is bad weather. I still have to go pick him up at the airport. So since I am bored I thought...what the heck. I have to pee...might as well be on my last stick.

OMG it IMMEDIATELY turned positive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I started shaking and bawling my head off. I really kind of wish I waited until DH was home so I could scream. Since he is not here I called my BFF and told her first. She has gone through 6 failed IUI and 3 IVF but finally does have a 2 yr old DS so I know she truly understands! I can't believe this is really happening! Is it really a BFP????? I can't wait until my first beta tomorrow to see what my numbers are!!! Since I don't want to tell DH on the phone I had to get on here and share it with you ladies!

This is funny though...I put the positive test in a ziplock bag and then in a box and wrapped it up like a present. So when I pick up DH at the airport tonight I will have to keep my mouth shut the entire 65 mile drive home! UGH! I am not a good secret keeper. I really want to call my mom but I think I should tell DH first. OK well I feel better since I got to tell you all.

I hope everyone is feeling wonderful this weekend. There has not been very much action on here over the past 2 days. Hopefully everyone is out enjoying summer! Love you gals! Thanks for keeping me sane during my 2ww! You all rock! XOXO

Pafa - congrats on your BFP...I am so happy for you.

AFM - I had my ER yesterday. Before he started my RE said to expect anywhere from 6-12 eggs. When I woke up, I was told there were only 5 eggs. I cried all the way home. I don't understand what happened. Last time I got 10 eggs and that was with half the dosage I took this time. This is so frustrating!! I have no idea whether they are all mature or not and I have been on pins and needles waiting to hear my fert report on Monday morning. I know it only takes one good one...by my faith is waivering.

Ryann - I am so sorry, what an ordeal. I would be a wreck if they told me I needed surgery. I hope you are dealing with the stress okay. Hopefully they can remove the tumors and you can go on to a successful IVF. Stay strong!

PA - congrats! What wonderful news. I hope the beta numbers are nice and high for you.

lisadcb - I am so sorry, I know you were hoping for more. I am praying and hoping and crossing anything that they are all mature and fertilize for you. I still have hope that one of those eggs is your baby, just waiting for you. I bet you are on pins and needles, I hope they call you with good news in the morning.

EShepherd, how many days since your ET? When i first did POAS, my BFP was VERY faint but got darker several days later....seems like yours is a BFP!!!!!
