Helene - Oh girl... Having to do anything with the military just spills life trouble. lol If it isn't one thing, it's always another. I married government property and this is my life as a result, people in a higher position telling you what to do, right or wrong. I just can't stand how the guy lied to me. He said if this command signed off on his leave then to show that paperwork and he will let him go. So that was done and he is still agruing saying he doesn't have the days. That leave paperwork is a legal document so not sure how he is getting away with this. It would be different and I would give up if he didn't tell me to my face that is all he needed. The stress from this is just forming a downward snowball and I am just a wreck today because of it. I know this too shall pass, but right now I am not a happy camper. :(

Babyluv – I am so excited to hear about your u/s, so one baby girl so far and maybe a boy!!!! Wow!! I am happy that you will be seeing a high risk OB so that they can keep a close eye on you!

Karen – I am so very happy your cerclage went well! My prayers were answered. I am glad that your mom is coming so she can help you out. I am sure everything will be fine now!

Natasha – That is a great beta! I have to agree with you about the bills. I heard that they have different prices for those who have insurance vs. those who do not but that is not fair at all because mine is a lifetime max. So if they charge a lot for the first IVF attempt, then I would have maxed out after the first try. I also experienced extra bills that weren’t explained to me after my transfer. I asked my DH, what they think I am a bank or something?!!!!

Gi –It was good to hear from you and to know that you are doing well!

Katie – I hope Gracie is doing better today! I was talking to my DH about dogs because I never had one but we are thinking about getting one soon. I was shocked when I read Gracie weighs 130 pounds! He said some dogs weigh more. Wow!!!

Helene – Yes, I am supposed to wean off of the Xanax because it can cause birth defects to a fetus but I am on a very low dose only 1mg a day. Usually people are on 4mg or higher, so I am concerned but I think he/she will be ok until I can wean myself off of it.

Stephanie – I am so sorry that you are stressed. I think that would stress me out also because that is what you and your family believed and depended on. I surely hope you can make some headway and he can get his time back.

Claudia – I hope that you are doing well today!

Hazel – I hope that you dad is doing better today and that you are feeling well!

Sara – I hope you are enjoying some time off.

AFM- Well, ladies I chickened out last night. I was supposed to lower my nightly dose of Xanax last night but I was cramping a little from the vaginal u/s so I took my original dose. My RE said that I should be ok to wean off but that I could wait until next week but If I wanted to, I could possible try this week. He said that next week will be better because by week 13, the placenta should take over and produce more progesterone to help calm the uterus. So I think waiting until next week might be better … also I will have my first appointment w/ the high risk OB on Monday and I will ask him if he can prescribe me something that is not as strong that can calm my uterus so I can wean off of the Xanax. There always seems to be something that I have to worry about and be stressed out but I am trying to stay calm and relaxed.

It's ok to be crappy and it's better to feel that towards the army and your dh ;) I mean we have to take our crap on someone or something :)

But I re-assure you again your babies will be just fine... they are just learning what life is all about :)

hugs and try and stop crying. I cry for nothing all the time too and it's the hormones :)

Helene – I think my uterus is just sensitive. According to my RE, he has several women who are like me but are able to wean off of the Xanax. I think this is just me being fearful but I will try again next week. I will not get the cerclage unless my cervix starts to shorten because once you get one for a pregnancy you are more likely to need it for future pregnancies as well. But, my high risk OB is going to keep a close eye on me by doing the weekly u/s, so I am not too worried. This has been an uneventful pregnancy compared to my last one w/Ashley. I spotted and cramped w/ her from week 5, so I do feel a little better about this one. Thanks so much for the concern, I just love you ladies!

Hi ladies  Just checking in on ya'll.

Ronda-I am so very sorry for your sad news  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Angela-While it's scary, it is also great that you've made it to graduation to your OB. I would be terrified to wean off the Xanax when you have already had trouble but hopefully lowering the dose will not cause the same problems as before. I have my fingers crossed it goes well

Babyluv-I think the b/g twins are winning out on this board so I'll just guess baby A is a boy. Congrats!!! You know I haven't had any spotting for quite a while but when I had the last u/s the tech still saw the hematoma. I don't know how long it takes to disappear but glad to hear it is going better for you.

Karen-I'm glad everything went well and that your mom is coming to help-what a relief. Are you going crazy on bed rest? Hang in there!

Natasha-Glad your beta # was so great! The money/insurance part is always so frustrating-why do we need that headache?

Katie-How is Gracie doing? I hope she took it easy on you

Stephanie-I am so sorry you are getting the run around with Andrew's leave time. Doesn't he know not to push a pregnant lady to the brink-it might bring out "psycho chick!" I hope it clears up and you get some quality time. I've been getting some fluttering but I can't wait for the big movements (I say that but I'm sure I'll regret it when they are kicking my ribs in the middle of the night and I can't sleep). You mentioned the ER-are you worried?! What came up?

Claudia-I'm so glad you got to rock the baby bump in a cute dress at the wedding. I don't think anyone would mistake yours for a baby bump-mine still goes between looking pregnant and looking bloated  Go figure

Gi-How are you feeling lately? Hope things are going well!

Helene-Have things calmed down at home? I hope you are getting a chance to relax and take care of that baby!

I will try to check in before I leave on Sunday. I am going to MDA camp (muscular dystrophy) all of next week. I have volunteered there for the past 11 years and couldn't skip it this year-although my mom is freaking out that I am going while I'm pregnant. Usually I am an attendant for one camper, usually a child that uses a wheelchair, but because I am pregnant I can't keep up with the physical demand that it takes. I am going to help out with arts/crafts and supervising tasks. I will take it very easy and do what I can-I just love it and can't give it up :D

Take care ladies, you are in my thoughts!

Okay...seriously

Claudia- I meant that no one would mistake your belly for anything but a baby bump  You're so skinny-hope you understood what I meant the first time around. I swear I read what I write but always miss something (pregnancy brain  ) Sorry dear!

Sara - Your little flutters are starting when mine did! lol I knew for sure at 16 weeks and now during this weel they are the undeniable ones! I think that's great what you are doing for the MD kids. I actually dated a guy with MD years ago before DH. Just make sure you take it easy and put your feet up as much as you can. :)

Angela - Chickened out huh? Well, it's ok.. you have good reason to not feel ready. Though with the placenta developed I am sure it's time to get it done. Hopefully OB can help find something to help calm your belly that won't hurt baby.

AFM - Went to L&D and they were great. No waiting in the ER, just went into triage and they helped me there. I got an u/s and saw both babies looking great. The reason I couldn't feel baby girl is because she is snuggled all up on her brother in the middle of my belly. lol So all the kicks in the middle have been her, not him. Funny, she is a uterus hog! I loved my experience there and so glad that is where I am going to deliver. They completely understood my concerns and didn't make me feel like I was over reacting, tell me I was fine and send me on my way. They let me go back and make sure. Also, they checked my cervix and said all is good so those little contractions didn't make a change, thankfully!! It was just the news I needed to help calm my nerves after so much stress.

stephanie- well im glad all is good. its always better to be safe than sorry. now you should be a little relieved.

angela & sara- those clinic are so ridiculous. it ticks me of so bad that they scam us when we're vulnerable. Now that im done and thru it im paying more attention to the billing. i think before was more just wanting to get through it and we didnt look at the bills as much. now they come and im reading it for a half hour comparing it to our agreement and its way off. but what can i do but get upset and stressed which they know we dont want and are trying to avoid. this world can be so wrong.

angela - oh how come this pregnancy is better did you do anything different? It's so re-assuring that you are NOT worried ... glad for you.

rayofsunshine - Actually I don't take care of baby during the day only daddy is with him but I do love to take care of him at night yes... I sometimes hold him until he falls asleep and then my dh takes him and puts him to bed... just too cute.

Glad you are still doing things you enjoy until you have a bed rest restrictions. Pleasure is very good for mommy :)

steph - oh your babies stories are just so cute and put a smile on my face. How do they hug if they are in seperate bags :) tell her no peeking through ok :) no bag piercing now :) See I told you babies were going to be ok :) you got to trust an OLD MAMA!!

natasha - this world is wrong you are right! It's all about money. So sorry dear.

AFM - had my HR OB apt today and I will NEVER go and see her again. She was trying to get me to tell her I was depressed and trying to tell me I am crazy cause I have more then the "normal" amount of kids. She wanted me to see a Social Worker and told me that when we do the next c-section she recommands they tie my tube...

Well I almost laught in her face with that one. I told her it doesn't even matter if you tie my tube those babies are NOT even MINE... I can do this again anytime even with my tube tied :) I think that's when she tried to make me think I was crazy!!!

So I have my next apt in 4 weeks, so much for being HR... they are 2 at the clinic at the hospital and for sure if next time I go it is her again i will tell them to tell her I missed my apt... NO NEED HER STRESSING ME OUT!!!

So she says definitly another c-section so be it... She was a real bit**... no compassion what so ever treated me like I was a child who didn't know what I was doing. Well she can find another patient to get on from now on.

But I did get a nice French Vanilla Cappuccino on my way back for the first time in such a long time and it was SO!!! GOOD!!!

:)

Helene - Wow, that isn't the way to try and help you. Sorry she came across so mean. Unfortunately, docs do have to look for certain red flags that set them into asking all those uncomfortable questions and lead to those uncomfortable accusations. Having so many kids and going through IVF is one of them... hence the octomom story. lol Not saying you are anywhere close to her, but they have to look at those things. I am sure it would help to talk to someone about some issues that are stressing you out, but it doesn't seem she was the person at all. I even sought some advice from the unit's Chaplain yesterday and I am not even religious. I just needed to vent to a councelor about all the crap lately. You are right though, tubes or no tubes, IVF has nothing to do with them. lol That was our first issue, mine are gone. Issue number two of course was his swimmers didn't want to swim towards the egg. Anyway... keep talking to us and the paster or priest... whomever you said you have been talking to and hopefully you will be just fine. Just take care of you! I will be honest, I worry about you all the time and hope you are ok! :)

As for babies, they weren't hugging, but snuggled up against each other... the way the doc put it was that they were kissing. lol It was cute to see. It looks like they are well bonded already. :)

Natasha - It was definately the ood news I needed. Seems once you start worring about something everything else starts to make you think. I hope you get the whole bill situation figured out. Maybe go and talk to the finance person face to face and start the dispute? Some of the bills might just be clerical error?

Hope all you other mommies are well!

AFM - A few things. One thing I forgot to mention in all the Army mess was that Andrew went to see the off post phychologist. There he was able to talk a lot longer with no time restraint. He said the she was very interested in his life story and talked to him for two hours about it and could have went even further but it was 7:30 at night! Bottom line is she says he has mild anxioty, mild depression and severe PTSD. She said he childhood set him up for failure in the whole PTSD department. Basically, he already had some form of it before he even went to war. Which, I should be a professional because everything she told him, I have been telling him for years. I just don't know how to help him and she does. Apparently the process to healing will never cure him but it will help and can be very extensive. She told him he will have to really trust her. Not sure what that means, but I am hoping hypnotherapy isn't a part of it. Either way, he is getting the help he needs. At least he has a diagnosis now. Also, he told her about the BP meds the Army doc gave him to stop having sleep anxioty. She agreed with me that he shouldn't take them, especially without taking his BP. She advised he not take it. I love being right. lol

Thanks Steph - as soon as my work is done I will go see the priest again I like him.

and I think we all worry here about each other and it's normal. Glad to see you now have a diagnose for your dh and guess that? The nurse this morning (not the bad OB) told me that my dh probably suffers from something I can remember the name about his germs problems and he should be on medication to fix him up... I do think he has a problem I mean the other day I was brushing my teeth and he told me to move closer to the sink because I was too close to the toilet... meaning maybe someone got pee or something else germs on it and my pijama pants might touch it!!! Wow I was shocked!!! I mean I told him ... dear how do you sleep with me in the same bed? I use other bathrooms all the time in the house with my jammies? You must be so terrified? And then he started saying I was looking for a fight and got really mad. And the funny thing is I was not I was trying to see how he saw things and how he could cope with this... but he always gets mad when I try to explain him my point of vue so I just dropped the subject telling him I was only tryng to help??

that's my story for the day ;)

Have a good one.

Sara - Have an awesome time at MD camp! I did a PR internship for a place called Boggy Creek Gang Camp just outside of Orlando when I was in college. They have weekend camps during the school year, and week long camps during the summer for kids with various disabilities. That place is INCREDIBLE! Way better than any camp I've ever seen, and totally free. I loved it. My parents actually got me thinking about it because they volunteered in the kitchen there one or two weekends every year.

Steph - OMGoodness, I am SO glad you are getting good news! Sounds like you've have a super tough week. Glad the babies are doing well, and that Andrew had a good appt.

Helene - I switched OBs when I got pg because right before I did, I met with the head OB at my old practice and he was HORRIBLE! Said a bunch of stupid stuff and I just wasn't comfortable there any more. Love my new guy (he's also my friend's FIL), who is one of the top in the area.

AFM - Same old same old here. Pretty sure I've been feeling little girl a little bit more this week, but still waiting for that AH HA! moment :D I've always thought I've felt more on the right (where little girl is) than the left, and at my last u/s Baby A had his back to me, so that would make sense.

Helene - Sounds like maybe OCD... obsesive cumpulsive disorder. It's where people obsess over germs and other things. I get told all the time that I have it by friends, but I just like order. I have to have things even and in it's place. I am not a germaphobe or anything. My house does get dirty. lol Sounds like DH has some anger issues as well, always getting mad. It might sound strange after being together so long, but ask him about those things. Tell him you just want to understand him better. I ask Andrew questions all the time. It helps since we all change as we get older and it's important to keep the communication flowing in a marriage. :) Sometimes frustration in a marriage comes from not knowing the spouse anymore.

Steph - That's it! OCD is exactly what she said he might have. And you know he wasn't always like that. He was way more melo when we first got married, it's just getting worse as he is getting older. But I just though that it was because of all the food recalls and deseases now and days? I didn't think he could actually have an issue of some sort. And it's funny he gets mad and angry but never raises his voice or anything. you just see it in his face and he just stops talking to you or just keeps arguing in a low voice... I don't know how he can get angry or give shit to someone without raising his voice??

babyluv - glad you are feeling your babies too :) Yes for sure I need to go to the other doctor but they are in the same hospital so it's just when one is not there the other is the one who sees you. So I don't know until I get to the next apt who is there but will gladly turn around if it's her again and re-schedule. I don't think we have High Risk OB here other then those at the hospital?? Will have to check that out?

thanks for the help and tips
