Babyluv - YAY for the quickening! Funny enough that is where I felt my first flutters, on baby a's side. lol Go figure, and he is still the stronger kicker. Sorry I must have just missed your post last time I posted. lol Thanks, Andrew is doing well and I am very happy all looks well with babies. :)

Helene - Actually... I am like that. lol I don't raise my voice either. I think yelling is a waste of energy because there is no reason to yell when a person is two feet away. I can make my points clear in a regular voice. I argue though, I don't fight. Now there was one point in the marriage where I did yell, but sometimes our emotions do get the better of us. :) I don't walk away though. I guess that is more of a man thing. lol As a woman, I need things to be resolved because I don't like to have to bring it up again later. Men usually just rather get away from it and forget about it, but that can cause more issues in the long run. Andrew has been very good at sitting down with me any time there is something that needs to be addressed and we can talk about it. This is sooo much better than fighting. lol

Ok... small update. Andrew came home for lunch and said he talked to 1SG who got a call from the Chaplain I spoke to yesterday. lol Apparently he was never informed of all of our issues, thanks to his last plattoon sergeant who was a pain in the ass (if anyone remembers the PIO issues with that guy). Anyway, he allowed Andrew to prove him wrong and now he is fighting for the leave so we could very well get it approved today!! IF for some reason he doesn't get approved (which he should since brigade already said good to go) then 1SG will just give him time off for free. So either way we are looking good. I am so glad that my phone call to the Chaplain helped. :)

Steph that is GREAT news about the time off!! So happy you made that call! And actually I am feeling the movement on Baby B's side (that's the girl...still don't know about A). A has it's back to me.

BTW - I find it really crazy that when I wake up in the morning, my abs are totally flat, and then I get down to my belly button and BAM! There is the bump. I keep thinking it will be this gradual bump, but not in the morning. It's so crazy!

Babyluv - Oops! Read that wrong I guess. Still cute though how it seems we both have one dominate kicker. lol I had those.. hmm? moments at 15 weeks but was sure by 16 weeks. Funny, I have read that those pg with twins do on average feel them before a singleton. I wonder why that is? They were surprised to hear me say that I felt them move already and especially that I could feel it on the outside too. Though I am the only one to catch it on the outside and they don't kick that strong often enough, I know it's happening. lol Just have to get Andrew to keep his hands on my belly as much as possible. Have you tried sucking in your belly? I laugh when I do because just a small dent under my ribs will suck in. My bump is all the way up to my ribs now. :)

Sara – That sounds great about volunteering for MDA camp! Please make sure you take it easy …

Stephanie – I am so glad you went to L & D so you can get some piece of mind. When you go to the hospital and they are nice and kind, it makes all the difference in the world because you are already worried!

I am happy your DH had a positive experience w/ his psychologist! This can mean something very positive! Yeah, for the chaplain’s help for Andrew’s time off!!!!

Natasha – Have you called them and asked them why your bills are so off compared to the original quote they provided you? I am just curious as to what they would say, they might think you haven’t noticed and it will just be paid.

Helene – This pregnancy is a lot different because my RE listened to me about my symptoms following my last two cycles and changed my protocol. He put me on several different medications that prevented me from cramping and spotting very early like it did w/ my first cycle. I think he is a very good doctor because so many doctors do not listen to their patients and that is one reason why a lot of women have failed cycles after failed cycles!

Sorry to hear about your experience w/ your high risk OB. Is there another physician that you can see instead of her?

Babyluv – I am so glad that you are feeling your little girl … I am sure you will feel the both of them a lot more in the upcoming weeks!

Karen – I hope you are doing well and relaxing!

Claudia, Gi, Hazel, Katie – I hope you ladies are doing well!

AFM – I am not enjoying all of this rain today. I am glad that I am finally back at home! I just found out that two more women are pregnant today! It’s like every day I hear that another person is pregnant and due around the same time I am, which is great! Otherwise, I am doing well today!

angela - oh so this is NOT going to be like last time then... oh good. True about doctor listening. Same thing happened to me. When I told them I don't want to use meds my body don't like them and they accepted and it worked against all odds.

Yes, actually I am supposed to see the other OB but she was in the OR... which I assumed is probably going to happend a lot. But who knows maybe she is bad too? We shall see...

So got to work late for the rest of the week cause of my am apt... took 3 hrs... and tomorrow another 3hrs of testing for a permanent position at the gov so got to put back those hours or I don't get paid :)

Have a nice day all

ANGELA- i actually called last week and thats when i found out that they aren't giving us the price they told us in the beginning. she said its because i have insurance coverage and its only a discount if theres no coverage and paying out if pocket up front. i just think its funny that i failed the first one and got a pregnant the second time when i paided out if pocket and had no coverage my second attempt. but oh well hopefully its over now with that clinic. i got another explaination of claims they sent my insurance after i talked to them on the phone. cuz the finacial agreement we signed came out to $11,000 with everything. we been paying seperately for my blood and u/s from the monitoring before first ivf so that should of been subtracted from the $11,000. then i just recieved a $14,000 which is only from the retrieval and the ET so already they are over our agreement by a few thousand of dollars now. well me and my DH go back on friday so since im in the mood to ask some more i'll ask again why its over the $11,000. i'll keep you posted if i hear anything. it makesme curious now lol

Steph -I'm so glad that you had reassurance at the ER. So baby girl is taking up all the room in there? Ahh, sibling rivalry begins early, I see.
Good for you taking things into your own hands and now Andrew's leave will getting approved soon! You're a good nurse seeing as how you know him best - too much that everything that you have said is exactly what the therapist said too!

Natasha - Frustrating when the numbers dont add up - crossed for a great u/s on friday!

Angela - Better to wean off after the placenta takes over and after seeing your HR OB, feels safer that way, doesnt it? And now you'll have lots of other bellies to keep you company all close in EDD's - that sounds nice. Yes, we go for the large dog breeds around here, they have calmer and more laid back temperments than the smaller guys.

Sara - Have a good time at MD camp, but take it easy. Soon you'll be feeling both of the twins moving all over the place!

Babyluv - Thats so funnt that you should mention that - this morning I was thinking that my belly looks so much flatter in the morning and much bigger in the afternoon - itsnt that odd? And another girl soccor player!

Helene - I have to see different OBs in the practice I go to also, hope next time you get the other one

Gi - YAY! I'm so happy for you!! A girl all perfect and healthy! And Kalya is a beautiful name! J and your Mam must be over the moon! It was such a long road for us both - And to think that we're almost there!!!! We have quite a bit of girls around here - hee hee whoever has some boys will have lots of girlfriends to choose from - he he

AFM - I've been so tired these last 2 days, I dont get where this fatigue came from? Yesterday was sort of a long day with Gracie being dropped off for testing. They did general anesthesia to catheterize her for a sterile urine sample and xrays, b/w. Grand total of $630 ( there goes nursery shopping) to be told that she has a severe bladder infection, thankfully no stones though, and that she will likely have them over & over due to having excess vulva skin. so i ask the vet what he wants me to do and he says try to dry her every time she urinates so the bacteria & moisture doesnt accumulate in that excess skin, then ascend to the bladder and worse case kidneys. So basically his long term solution is wipe her after each pee, or take her for surgery to remove those excess skin folds
Good thing I'm a nurse, because when I told Chris this last night I could see the look on his face and I was thinking "Oh great now he'll never take Gracie out ever again!" UGH - Oh I almost forgot the best part, picture me trying to walk a 130 lb puppy who's not quite alert enough after general anesthesia - poor thing was too out of it to even get in the car so here I am trying to coax, push, lift her in. I finally went to get the some help and the vet had a hard time lifting her - she was like dead weight, so he laughed and said "is it always this hard to get her in the car"? I'm like WTF? "ummm, no but you are the one who drugged her up, so get to lifting" Ha Ha

hugs & prayers to us all - xoxoxo

Hi everyone,

I'm just stopping in to say hello and give all my girls an update. First, I want to say I'm soo soo sorry to Malya, Natakia, and Ronda. It is a horrible thing to lose a pregnancy and I am so sorry this happened to you too  . Perhaps there will be a day that we all find happiness again. Believing that is what keeps me going anyway. Angela, Gi, and a few others are proof that it can happen.

DH and I had a great vacation. It was just what we needed. We spent 11 full days together enjoying our time in new places and feeling romantic and loved. Got back to work on Monday and now I'm getting my ass kicked though...he he. My father-in -law picked us up at the airport and leaked that my sister-in-law had ER and ET at Mayo while I was gone and that her beta was on Monday. I have no idea what the results are. I suppose if it was negative, she wouldn't want to make calls and if it's positive, maybe she doesn't want to say too early. I'd like to know, but I'm really indifferent about it, because I'm focused on my own journey maybe. Or maybe because I know she's determined and she will have a child sooner or later. But thinking about it makes me feel sad that I'm supposed to be pregnant right now too. I better stop before I cry here at work!

Well, AF came on 6/5, 4 1/2 weeks after my D&C. I called my clinic on Monday to let them know and RE wanted to schedule a hysteroscopy to make sure all is well in there before I cycle again. The nurse said it had to be done early in the cycle before ovulation so I am scheduled for tomorrow at 1PM. I really hope things are OK. I also called my OB about the genetic testing that was being done on my fetus. The results were supposed to be back in 4-6 weeks and it's been 5. Unfortunately, they aren't back yet. So I'm still waiting. Depending on the results, I may be in for more testing. If all checks out, then I will begin my cycle with my next AF which is due about July 1st. I'll check in to let you all know.

Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies!
XOXO
