Hey everyone! Quick update from me. Had my ultrasound and all looks great. Just one little peanut in there! I am 6 weeks, 3 days but measuring at 6 weeks, 4 days. So right on track! Heart rate was 120. Does that sound about right? Anyone know what heart rates are expected at this point? The Dr seemed to be pleased. I go back on the 23rd for my second ultrasound and then I "graduate" to my OB. I wish I could have an ultrasound every day. It was so reassuring!

I will try to catch up on personals this weekend. It looks like we have a lot of BFPs to celebrate.

pep23 - wonderful heartbeats at 6 weeks my RE said anything between 120 -130 is perfect. So that is really great news! My son (now 2) always measured big.

babyRN - I had the 2ww after the second beta to the ultrasound, it was killer, but if you go too early you could freak yourself out even more. Especially depending on the equipment the OB has, our RE had a much more precise ultrasound machine than the OB. I am very blessed to have twins, and then be pregnant with another set. I love children so much.

kamille - those stretching pains are perfectly normal! I have them here and there, but no where near as bad with the second (set) as with the first. If this is your first your muscles are a lot tighter and you will feel a lot of strange pangs as your belly grows, but the are normal. Nausea and tiredness are also good signs=)

PA - my numbers were 132.1 at 9 days past transfer and 465.8 at 12 days past transfer. Triplets in your future=)

AFM - morning sickness has hit this week, a good sign=)

I had my ET today. They put in 2 blasts. 1 was graded as a 2 and the RE said it was textbook and the other one was not so good and was a grade 3. I had one of the 4 fertilized eggs arrested and the remaining one was really struggling. They said they would keep culturing it for another day to see of it would catch up...if it did then we would freeze it. But she didn't sound very optimistic that it would catch up. But if this works, I guess it will be ok that I had none left to freeze. So, now I am in the 2ww...finally!!

DCMama- I am so sorry for your BFN. I know the feeling you are experiencing I just feel so bad for you, Have you had a chance to discuss anything with the Dr? I wish there was something we could say but I know from experience that word don't solve the situation. Hugs to you.

Pep- sounds good, glad your u/s went well. I am 5-6 days behind you!

Pa-Fa- WOW on the Beta! what a great feeling!
Lisadch- congrats on a successful transfer! :D

afm- all was good with the ultrasound this morning. It was a bit early to hear the heartbeat, But the "sac" was there and everything seemed ok so we are full speed ahead! - But it is not two, just the one.
I am not sure that I am eating enough- but I am not that hungry. How do I know that I am eating enough? Any suggestions?

Take care ladies- have a nice weekend!

Bril - When I was pregnant my doctors just said to eat healthy and that we don't need more than 200-300 extra calories per day when pregnant. Many people take the "eating for two" literally and feel like they can double up on everything...absolutely not true.

Hello ladies!!!!

Kamaile- Yes I am a flight attendant. I fly international out of the NYC area. I am even more tired now than ever before. RE says it is ok to fly as long as I sleep a lot when I get there and drink LOTS of H2O to stay hydrated. I am flying all Ireland trips this month except one time to the UK. I am having the same symptoms as you. Really sore boobs and it constantly feels like my uterus is growing and stretching. :? I am just a few days behind you. My transfer was 5/26.

BabyRN- My first u/s is June 18 also. I can't wait! :D You, me and Kamaile are all really close. Your transfer was 5/20...Kamaile 5/23 and me 5/26. I think I have the dates right. :)

pep- congrats on your peanut! I'm happy that the heartrate looks so great. I guess that's the next thing I will have to learn about. Just when I was getting the hang of beta numbers. :)

purple- I am freaked out enough about being pregnant...twins would rock...trips may start to freak me out. :) LOL Dear God just please give me one healthy baby.

Lisacdb- Congrats on a successful transfer. You are officially PUPO!!! Woo hoo! Rest lots. I ate veggies every day not sure if that had anything to do with it but I feel like it did. I made a big pasta salad the day before and then munched on that for days. LOL That way I never had to get up or stand for a long time. DH was out of town so I was alone. Time to catch up on movies and tv! :)

Bril- congrats on seeing your little sac. How exciting!

Katie99- Thanks for the congrats. I think of you everytime I go to the office now. :)

AFM- Well I am in Ireland again until Sunday. This time DH is with me. We are going to the Cliffs of Moher tomorrow. I'm very excited. The Irish coast is so pretty. The flight over was so tiring but I drank 2L of water. I hope that's enough. I just had dinner and am almost ready for bed again. LOL
I found a OBGYN. I got a suggestion from a pilot friend I know and a nurse. So...hopefully I'll like him. I scheduled my first 2 apts with him in July. They said to call if anything changed between now and then. I am guessing they mean if I m/c or find out there are multiples??? Any ideas?
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Talk to you all soon!

Hi all,

Congrats to all the BFPs! And Lisa, well done with the ET. Bei, hang in there - you must be very uncomfortable.

I have my bloodtest on Monday. Am collecting the result in an envelope as I have to go back to work. Man, is it going to burn a hole in my pocket all afternoon! I'm SO nervous about the result. Have run both positive and negative scenarios around in my head but know that I'll be gutted if it's a BFN. Still, it's only Cycle one so I've got to be realistic.

Will catch up again next week with my news - whichever way it goes.

Might go bake something yummy to take my mind off the waiting!!

Hey everyone! Hope all is well!

Wow Pafa, must be fun being able to go to different places and sight see...Id love to do that but I dont think i could ever be a flight attendant as my ears dont do well when im on a plane lol (extreme pain).....

I am still waiting until tuesday for my 3rd beta which was scheduled for 10 days after my second...ugh...and i dont get an u/s until june 22 which is even more waiting for me....i did notice that several of us are very close in cycle dates, that is great..hopefully good news for all! Im debating on going to my regular OB and trying to get a scan before 6/22 just cause i cant take this waiting much longer...what do you all think? Should I?

Some days, i feel pregnant like nausea and cramping/strecthing in my uterus all day long, and other days i feel perfectly good and not pregnant....is this normal?? Anyone? ugh i get worried for every little thing..

kamaile- I feel the same way. Some days pregnant... some I feel nothing and it freaks me out! I am flying with a girl who is in her 2nd trimester. She said the same thing happened to her. Somedays something...some nada. We really have not much in common besides being pregnant. Her baby was a "mistake" and she is still not happy about it. I kind of want to slap her. LOL Anyhow, have a great night and don't worry about the nothing moments. You'll smell something or do something and all of the sudden you will remember you are preggers! :P

Hi Ladies
Hope everyone is doing well had my second beta yesterday 328 :) Don't go back for anymore betas. My RE said that as long as the 1st number is above 100 and it at least doubles they don't do anymore betas. I go for my 1st u/s on 6/29, what a long wait. For over a year I have been going the the RE office several times a week (sometimes daily) and now I wont go for over 2 weeks, it feels strange.

Glad to hear that others don't "feel" pregnant with symptoms all the time I was beginning to worry.

Lisa-Glad your transfer went well. Best of luck in your 2ww :)

Off to work talk to you all soon.

Hi all

Bloodtest today and it was a big fat positive! I can't believe it. I'm still in shock. After three years of trying (naturally) with disappointment after disappointment, I'm finally pregnant. It feels surreal. So the sore boobies and cramps were for real! I'm so lucky - this is my first cycle.

My first beta was 61 (11 days after day 3 transfer). Is this normal - seems a bit low compared to everyone elses? I have another test on Friday so here's hoping for a nice high number.

Good luck to all those in the 2ww. It's pretty mind bending but hang in there.

Tess69- CONGRATS on your BFP I am so happy for you. :D I'm sure your beta on Friday will be exactly where it needs to be!

Kamaile-I would die to have another beta test. I feel like I may go crazy waiting for my u/s. I just want to know that the numbers keep rising and that everything is ok.

kitty_mom- Great 2nd beta. I am very happy for you!

Well DH is killing my internet for a few hours so I hope you all have a great day.
