Are heartbeat monitors dangerous?
A friend of mine had a baby last year and she bought one of those heartbeat monitors that you can use at home to hear your babies heartbeat when ever you want to starting at about 9 weeks pregnant. She said she used it throughout her pregnancy and the it gave her peace of mind...she also said she would loan it to me....my question is are these things safe to use? And if so is it safe to use on a frequent basis? I mean my friends baby is perfectly fine but i thought i heard something about those things not being too safe?

Kamaile - According to several web sites and warning/precautions, they are ok to use every once and awhile. So, in other words, they recommend that we not use it daily, maybe 2 or 3 times a week. I hope that you are doing well!
