Ronda - I am so sorry to hear about your experience. I have to say I am shocked that they put you through all of that torture! They should have put in an epidural ... the situation is painful enough to have to endure without making the situation worse! I am so very upset that you had to experience that! My experience last year wasn't anything like that but I do understand your pain of losing a child. You are right that you have two wonderful daughters but you will always miss you Jesse and that is ok! You should grieve for your child so you can heal emotionally. Please remember that I am here for you anytime you need. Unfortunately, we share an awful experience but we can both make it through it!

Bei - Welcome to the mommy thread! This is a great place to be! Congrats on your BFP!!! Gi thinks twins maybe?? ;)

Gi - That is so cute how you secretly bought things since week 4! I bet Jason was almost (if not did) become a little soggy in the eyes over that. I know if Andrew would have done that, I would have. Though I also am a pg women with uncontrolable hormones messing with my emotions. lol Saying "she" must feel so great yet comes so naturally doesn't it? I find myself easily spitting out "he" and "she" often... no more Baby A, Baby B or Thing 1 and Thing 2. lol It's also cute how your mam did the same thing you did in secret. Now you can just plan and be happy. I hope that your worry has gone down now and you can fully enjoy little Kayla! I bet that is her giving you those thumps. Soon enough you will feel them every day and without a doubt and not too long after that she will be beating you up from the inside day and night.

Hazel - Good to hear from you. No need for personals, you are going through a lot. I hope your dad will be ok! I have no doubt that no matter what, he will be here to meet Zorba! Just three more months!! Have you reached sweedish exercise ball size yet? lol

Ronda - Jesse is a sweet name. I am sorry to hear that there won't be anymore tries. At least you will always have your angel watching over you. It's always going to be so sad what happened. I am glad you got through it ok though, spite the fever and having to stay overnight. I know emotionally it will take time to heal, but like Malya said.. you are strong. However, don't think you have to be that way all the time. I am sure there are times you will break down and be a total mess... allow yourself to go through that process. We all are broken inside because of your loss!

Claudia - My headaches are finally starting to subside. I can go a few days without having one or when I do it isn't bad enough to need tylenol. Six weeks of dealing with them every day was no fun! I hope yours goes away soon. I feel your pain though. I know what you mean about being paranoid because of the miscarriages. I think we all worry each time we hear of a loss. It wouldn't be normal to think, omg that could happen to me. All we can do is think positive. I admit, part of my worry and need to go to L&D did have something to do with all the bad news lately. I am very happy to find out baby girl is moving just not where she was before. The little uterus hog. lol

Malya – I am so happy to hear from you! You are so right when you say people tell you to be brave and strong and I know it is hard but eventually it does get a little better each day! You are such a kind person to keep up w/ everyone and offer to help others when you are grieving so much yourself! That just goes to show you what a wonderful person that you are!!!

I was totally out of it when I lost my daughter; I couldn’t help anyone even if I wanted to. I was really a mess. I really should have sought counseling because I went through some very strong emotions but they didn’t hit me until weeks and even months later. So don’t hesitate to seek help if you feel that you need it!

Gi – I am so happy your appointment went well and it’s a girl!!! Congratulations!

I had to smile when I just read your post about buying something every week for your little one. You and I are just alike … my DH wanted to take me to the maternity store this weekend and I said “no” because I could jinks something and when we went to my RE for my last appointment last Monday something would go wrong. He looked at me like I was crazy. I said the same thing to myself that you did, I had to be positive, so despite my fears, I went shopping and our appointment on Monday went well!

Natasha – So you had a dentist appointment also … well we will see what happens because I have an appointment at the end of this month. I called my old dentist and I told them I am refusing X-rays also. I was so emotional about it when talking w/ my DH. He said maybe we should just wait until you deliver the baby to schedule you for an appointment. I said no! I am paying for dental insurance so I am using it! He just looked at me … lol! I am just so upset of the thought that a dentist would put anyone’s baby in harm even if it is a small risk just because they want to make money!!!

Katie – I wonder if this heat has anything to do w/ your fatigue lately. I know it is taking my breath away from me.

Claudia – I am so glad that you got to spend some quality time w/ your mom. I just cherish these times w/ my parents right now! I hear you on the late term pregnancy losses; it is a constant scare for me but I just have to pray everything will be ok.

Helene – Good luck w/ your testing today! I hope it all goes well today!

Hazel – I am glad your dad’s biopsy went well! I am praying you your family for tomorrow! I am also happy Zorba is doing well! Wow, 27 weeks!!! You are right; time is flying … you are almost there!!

Bei – Congratulations on your BFP!!! I was praying that it would be your time this cycle!

Stephanie – I am glad that you are doing well. I am starting to get headaches more often also but it seems to be more at night lately!

AFM – I can’t believe I have reached 12 weeks but ladies I wish it was December already … I am just so nervous everyday!

I couldn’t believe how tired I have become since just last week. I was at work today and speaking w/ several physicians at an Air force Base today and I had to go back to my car to get something … and I barely made it back to their office. I was totally exhausted from the walk to my car!! The heat was very hot and I felt like my legs were going to give out! I had to take two breaks on the way back … they said I thought that you got lost … lol. How am I going to make it through this entire summer???? Lol!

gi - wow you have already started getting stuff and what color did you get... oh so cute way to go girl!!!

bei - congrats that is wonderful news... glad you join the party :)

angela - tes the test went well it only took me 1hr instead of 3 so I was able to go back to work and didn't have to stay all night to replace my hours. And the good news is it's a pool also meaning that all of those who pass will be in a pool and will one day have a full time permanent job at the gov... so that's great maybe I could even take maternity leave with my new baby if I get hired early enough. Imagine being home with baby and being paid... how exiting.

Funny how we are getting tired. I used to climb the 17 flight of stairs before I was pg and now we are on the 3rd floor and I take the elevator... imagine. So it's ok girl :)

Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi preggos,

Well I had my hysteroscopy yesterday and it wasn't as bad as I thought. All was normal except for a small "adhesion" partially blocking the opening in the cervix. It was a bit of scar tissue from the d&c and busted up when the camera passed through it, so it hasn't been there long. Has anyone had one of these tests before? It was very odd to see the inside of your uterus on the big screen in high def color! I even saw the fallopian tube openings into the uterus. RE was looking for any abnormalities that could have lead to my m/c. But there weren't any answers there. Now I am going to have blood work done for anticoagulation disorders. Normally those aren't done until you've have multiple losses but my RE said he does them when someone has a loss at 12 weeks or later. I guess if something is wrong, why wait until I lose another baby, I guess. I also should get the results of the genetic testing back by the end of next week. So perhaps I'll have answers.

The good news is that RE said I can definitely cycle with my next AF (due July 1st). I will be doing another antagonist protocol with Follistim, Ganirelix, and low dose hcg. Last time I had 7 eggs and 3 good embryos from them so I'm reallllly hoping for at least that many. I'm not sure if I'm a poor responder per se, but Lupron doesn't suppress me. I just ovulate right through it! So RE doesn't want to use it.
Katie, I will probably join Franny's summer group at the end of the month. I'm just not quite ready yet.

I really feel the love from this board though! I miss you all too!!! If anyone wants my contact info, just PM me. I'm excited to have you all as cheerleaders this next cycle. Thank you all so much.

Congrats to all of you who have found out the sex of your baby/babies. It all sounds like such great news and I'm excited for all of you to have beautiful healthy children. And to those who are choosing for it to be a surprise.... I can't wait for your big day to find out!

Claudia, I PM'd you and you will get the package with all the fixin's next week. Thanks again for your help. It means a lot to me.

Jacqueline, please let me know when you send the package. Again, thanks for your help and support. I know you are busy and I appreciate this so much.

I'm doing ok otherwise. The hardest is when I think about the date or see one of your tickers and I realize where my pregnancy *should* be. I'm doing my best to get past this and look forward to my future. Unfortunately, it's easier said than done. My heart really goes out to the other losses on this board. If any of you are reading, esp Ronda and Malya who recently had 2nd trimester losses.... please know I think about you and the pain you are going through. I am so sorry. PM me if you want to talk.

Congrats to all of you.

XOXO

Lou – Yes, I had that same test about 3 times and it is very interesting. The last time it was extremely uncomfortable for me because I didn’t follow the directions before the procedure.

I am so happy you are well on your way to start your next cycle. I am praying for you!!!

Hello Ladies,

I hope that everyone is doing well this Friday! It’s been a little quiet, so I take it everyone is enjoying the day!

AFM – Well the pregnancy rates just keep increasing … lol! Three more ladies just announced they are pregnant today!

I am so very happy that it is Friday and I can get some rest, finally. Well, ladies I finally had the nerve to start reducing my Xanax dosage and I started last night. So, I will see today or tomorrow if I will have any cramping or spotting but I am going to think positive.

angela- i agree thats sad that they are putting babies at risk over some money also. it unbelievavle what some people do. thats good news that your lowering you dosage. i believe you will be more exhausted to hotter the weather so take it easy the rest of the summer while you working especially.

AFM- i had my first u/s this morning and everything went well. i have a sac so looks like we have one baby which is wonderful too. but they took my blood again and are calling me to tell me what they are. so this is the fourth beta. hmm thats make me wonder why so much are they just trying to get as much out of money wise or what? lol i cant help but to think that. i just dont see them too concerned that they are checking my hcg and progesterone so often. but we'll see in an hr what it is today.

Natasha - My RE didn't do a lot of b/w but from what I remember of my cycle thread and this thread, a lot of people did. It was to make sure the levels are rising like they should be and progesterone has to be at 15 or greater to sustain a pregnancy so your RE is probably just making sure you are ok. I remember wishing that I had more then just the one test because I needed to know that my HCG was doubling like it was suppose to. Try not to think too much about the money for the b/w because it is good peace of mind. If you prefer not to get it, just let your RE know that you can't afford that many and I am sure he would back off a bit. Awesome that you saw a sac. How far along are you now? Can't look at your ticker, you don't have one. lol

Angela - Hope the weaning goes smoothly!

Lou - I have had a laperoscopy and a hysteroscopy at the same time to determine if my tubes could be saved. Unfortunately they couldn't which resulted in the IVF, but seeing my insides was interesting. Seeing my pethedic none existant tubes is what sticks in my mind most, but I did see my uterus and ovaries too.

stephanie- thanks im 6 weeks and 1 day today. it'll be a few weeks before i go and get another ultrasound to hear the heartbeat. my RE out of town they told me so a longer wait. im not too worried about the money of this whole experience but i just think they are doing more than i thought. one day I go in and a nurse is saying set up for your u/s and you dont need to do blood. i go in for my appt for u/s and a different nurse is saying they're doing u/s and blood. so im getting confused thats all. i also noticed not alot off you all had more than two checks for your beta so now that they did four im really confused lol. but it'll be fine as long as we get our baby they can check me everyday hehe :D. thanks for your advise.

oh ladies btw i remember seeing ppl needed gonal-f donated i have some if you know anyone needs it let me know. it'll just go to waste i wont use it before it expires 03-2011. i dont know how much i have but it's a 900 iu and i think i used one or maybe two needled out of the whole thing. but if anyone needed it i dunno since i used it before if anyone can still use it. it has about ten needles still with it.

Natasha - Well, I would guess that as soon as you see that hb that your RE will likely only pull one or two more blood tests. Unless there is some reason he wants to hold on to you. Some RE's are very attached and want to make sure everything is good before releasing you. My RE was confident and let me go right away after I got the ok to wean off of progesterone and I got that ok at.. 9 weeks I think. Funny though, my RE and nurse both went on vacation before my u/s. I had to wait 3 weeks too so that felt like forever for me. lol

FYI - Had a conversation with Andrew last night and today. We have been calling the babies, just girl and boy.. so I asked if he wanted to start calling them by their names so that we can get use to it. He looked at me and said no. I asked why and he said because I don't want a junior so we should talk about it more. After all this time of not wanting to budge and just as I am giving in, now he wants to talk about it. Today the convo was continued and he asked what name I liked and he knew so I didn't even have to answer, I like Ethan. He then suggested Ethan Jay (his middle name added) and I said or Ethan Andrew and he liked that one better. So looks like the junior idea is out the door and baby boy is now going to be Ethan Andrew. Little girl is still going to be Angelina Lily though. :) I think we came to a good compromise and it wasn't even my idea. lol Katie, I think you called that one. ;)
