Nanine - AWESOME NEWS!!! So glad they are doing so well! What great names you picked. :) And your girl almost 5 pounds and the rest all over 4... such healthy babies. You did well mama! So proud of you! Thanks for popping in and letting us know. I hope you pop back and tell us how things are going once they are home!!

Katie -Good luck at your appt today. I am sure the headaches are just a pesky symptom of being preggers. :) As far as the neighbor(s) coming over just for things... it does suck. I mean the least they could do is small talk with me or try to get to know me? I mean, that is what I would do. I don't like using people for what they can offer me. It sends out bad karma. I am sure things won't change though so I will deal with it. Hurts my feelings, but in the end I know who my friends are. :) Take care baby mama... can't wait to read how all went today. Maybe, just maybe you can squeeze a quick scan out of the ob?

Natasha - Itching around the site is normal even if you haven't had it before. I had itching and adema as well as nerve damage. The site still gets itchy and I haven't been on the shots since one day shy of 13 weeks. I think it's mostly the nerve damage that is causing my continued iching though. Since some of the feeling is coming back the sensation of itching comes across. Anyway... nothing to worry about. Even with my issues my RE didn't want me off the shots to take suppositories since the PIO was working he didn't want to change things and risk losing the pregnancy since the shots are the best form. Just a few more weeks, you can do it! :)

I'm sorry I do not have time for personals today, but I just wanted to keep you all up to date.....

THE TRIPLETS ARE HERE!!!!!!

I gave birth last Monday June 21st. It was a shock at how quickly it happened. I went in for a dr appointment and was sent to the hospital for monitoring and they were here by that night. They are all doing amazingly well. They were born at 33 weeks 6 days. None needed oxygen, they are all off feeding tubes, iv's and are in open air cribs. They thought it would take 3 to 6 weeks for them to come home but they are doing so well, 2 may be home by the end of this week with the 3rd following in a few days!!

So they are:

Aidan James 4lbs 8 oz
Matthew Christian 4lbs 2oz
Kaitlyn Ann 4lbs 15oz

I hope you are all doing well. I will try to make time for personals soon- before the babies come home :D :D :D :D :D :D

Nanine
Nanine - That is so very exciting! I am just thrilled for you!!! I am happy to finally get some very good news on here ... for awhile, we had terrible news after terrible news! I can't believe they were all 4 lbs, that is so very wonderful. You have to be completely exhausted. Please make sure you take care of yourself also! Stay in touch!

Nanine CONGRATS X 3!!!! Oh honey I'm so happy for you!!!!
How are you feeling mama of 4? You did an awesome job girl!! All the babies are healthy and great weights!!
Welcome to Aidan + Matthew + Kaitlyn

Steph - You dont let those petty types hurt your feelings! They are beneath you and so transparent! There are some nice women on post I'm sure of it
I'm hoping that you come across at 1 potential girlfriend at your shower. Grrr those types piss me off! Big hugs to you my friend!

AFM - Well I guess I'm back to being medically boring, thank God. I guess it was just the getting pg part that was so damn hard. I just had another OB appt that went great, BP 128/80, and get this I'm actually 1/2 lb less than my first OB appt, which is strange since I feel like I eat all the time. But if you add in the 30 lbs I put on during a year of non stop cycling - then I guess the baby is helping with that LOL. Anyway the OB is happy with my weight and said I'll have my 1hr GTT (glucose tolerance test) in 3 weeks. I did ask when is my next u/s and shoot me now - she said at 32 weeks and that everything is going so well that theres no reason to do one sooner. Arrghhhh! So that means that I'll end going a full 12 weeks without a u/s since my last was at 18 wks. UGH! So I guess I cant complain, she did the dopplar but didnt tell me how many BPM. I thought that she would tell me the fundal height measurement, but didnt. I did hear that she had an emergency surgery to do earlier, so I guess it backed up her whole day - maybe next time I'll get the info I want ...
Ok girlies, chat later its time to feed the belly - hahaha - xoxo

Natasha – I agree w/ Stephanie that the itching can be normal w/ the progesterone injections. But, hopefully you will not have to be on it too much longer. Lucky me, my high risk OB is prescribing a compound mixture of Progesterone IM injections starting week 16 but it is the long acting version so it just once a week.

Katie – I hope your appointment goes well. Sorry to hear about the headaches. I’ve been having the headaches also for several nights in a row. I think it is because I haven’t been eating right throughout the day and also stress of work. I hope your headaches are just hormonal.

Babyluv – I hope that you are doing well! It sounds like you are going to be a busy woman after your twins are delivered. Four kids under 5, wow! But it sounds like they are so very excited and looking forward to their baby sisters’ arrival, which will be an exciting time for them also. I can’t wait to hear about their interactions!

Stephanie – I hope that you are doing well and the twins are progressing nicely. I can’t believe you are 21 weeks already … that is so exciting!

Claudia – I hope that you are feeling well today and hopefully slowing your busy schedule down a little!

Gi – That is great that you felt the kick! I guess she likes the Chinese food … lol!

Karen – It was great to hear from you over the weekend. I am so thrilled to read that your cerclage is doing its job!!!

Sara – Oh I see, you are having a boy and a girl … that is so very exciting! I laughed when you said your DH made them check three times. That certainly sounds like my DH too!

Emerald – I thought a read that you have a Lab. That is exactly the kind of dog that I would like to get. What are your thoughts?

AFM – I just came back from one of my weekly u/s and it looks like Gabriella is doing well. My cervix is still measuring where it needs to be and she was just moving around in there. Thanks for listening about my melt down on Friday. Yes, I finally got my medications ordered. I just can’t believe it was such a long process just to order my medications.

Good evening ladies

Nanine-WOOHOO!!! Congrats on the healthy and happy arrival of your 3 babies-love the names!! I'm so glad they'll come home soon and are doing so well :D I pray you get a little rest before all the "excitement" starts! Take care and keep us posted (when time allows-hehe)

Katie-It is good to be boring! Now...if you could just get an ultrasound machine on ebay and do it at home  Seriously, I am so thankful that you are having a smooth time of it and you get the "everything's fine" each time.

Gi-I love that your getting kicks from Kayla. Sweet "love taps" for you

Angela-I'm glad to hear Gabriella is doing well. What is this that work is stressing you out and you're not eating right? You need to take my mantra-babies first::food, sleep, and good thoughts only. All other things can wait or go away! Take care of yourself. :D

Stephanie-I wondered: are you going to a perinatologist? How often are your appts.? Have you done the 24 hr. urine test yet? I'm just curious about my schedule and thought I'd ask  I am set to go to the regular OB doc. every two weeks now and the perinatologist every two weeks (with transvaginal ultrasounds every time, yeah  )-they alternate so I see a doc. every week. Seems like a lot but I guess they are just being cautious. I'm really curious about the single vessel cord and what caused it-I don't smoke so can't be that. So many questions....

So ladies, my DH and I started talking about the funeral tomorrow for baby Noah. I asked my DH if he would mind attending without me-I feel like showing up being visibly pregnant may be very hard for them. I thought we would go to visit together after they have time to heal more. I don't know if it is a good decision-I want to be there for them without adding more hurt and pain.

Today I went with my MIL and shopped for maternity clothes. I found some great deals at Burlington Coat Factory  I also bought two car seats-they were on sale so I couldn't pass them up. I am in full buying mode now-yikes!!!

I really should go to bed-I've been internet "window" shopping forever and spent the last 20 minutes trying to kill a Junebug that kept dive bombing me. I hate those bugs!!

Take care!

Nanine- Congrats on the arrival of your precious bundle of three! I feel so happy for you, DH and the rest of your family. What an amazing blessing. Also gives me confidence that if I don't make it quite to 36 weeks my two little ones will still be ok. Get some rest and hope you heal quickly. We are all thinking of you and your family.

Hey girls,

Sara i think you are right to stay away from the funeral as it may be hard on them but also you, on my last pregnancy at 9 wks my cousins little baby died shortly after birth and the funeral was so emotional i dont think i would ever be able to attend one again. They will understand, my heart breaks for them.

Katie ah pity you have to wait so long for an u/s how mean!! It must be terribly uncomfortale been pg in that heat no fear of that here in Ire

Nanine Congrats on the birth of your triplets :D :D and what great weights they are, soon they will be home where they belong xxx

Natasha the itching must be uncomfortable from wks 14 - 15 i got an all over body rash thats pregnancy relatated and omg how it itched!!! I just wanted to rip my arms and legs off thankfully a change in moisturiosers and cleansers solved it.

Steph we have decided on Kayla Carter (obvioulsy going with jasons surname as we are not married yet) and her middle name will be George after my late grandad - we were going with that whether it was a boy or girl and its not like we use middle names here anyway, i am called after him my full name is Georgina but i dont really like that so every one calls me gina or gi. Is Alex looking forward to adoption day????? She will be so proud officially calling herself a Ford.

Girls quick question as i really havent a clue i think i feel fluttering and little taps daily but they are really low down like near my bikini line do you think its the baby? When i get my scans the put the gel and u/s very low down as well i suppose i just assumed my bump was the baby but the little taps are much lower. I know i got a def. kick on Sunday but only little wriggles since, cant wait for her to get bigger and kick the living daylights out of me :D

gi xx

Hey ladies, just checking in with you all!

Nanine - OMG, congratulations!!!! I'm so happy to hear that you and all three of those precious babies are doing well, and what great birth weights. You and DH must be so happy, I just can't imagine the joy of it all! Now make sure you rest up before they all come home, because they're going to keep you nice and busy!

Emerald - poor you, sounds like you're really having a rough time of it. You have totally found the right place to be though - the ladies on this thread have experienced or know something about most pregnancy symptoms and related issues, and I'm sure you'll find them to be an amazing support network. I hope your amnio went smoothly today and that you're resting up. How quickly do you get the results? p.s. Zorba is a silly nickname which DH and I gave our embryo, in honour of the very nice and very cheerful Greek doctor who did my egg retrieval this time around (hence Zorba the Greek!). We did blastocyst culture and out of 8 eggs (6 actually fertilised) we only ended up with one embryo to transfer at day 5.

katie - I love being in Team Green! And I know, what a pink dominated thread we have! Maybe claudia and I will end up with boys to even up the imbalance a little... Thanks for your thoughts about my Dad - he had his first chemo session yesterday, plus he got accepted into the vaccine trial so he had the first of those shots as well. They sent him home with plenty of anti-sickness drugs and what sounds like enough other stuff to stock a small pharmacy, so we will just have to see how he feels over the next few days. Hope everything's OK with you, so happy to hear that all went well at your OB appointment. What did they say about your headaches? Has your DH been able to feel Ryan kicking yet? p.s. I think using Rose as a middle name is a wonderful idea, your RE will be so touched. Ryan Rose is such a pretty name.

gi - so glad to hear that your BIL is home and doing well, that must be such a relief for everyone. Yippee for feeling Kayla kick more strongly (it's definitely her down by your bikini line, btw, I was surprised as well that it takes so long for them to start moving up your tummy and that the bump isn't really where the baby is - even now at 30 weeks most of the movement I feel from Zorba is below belly button level and the bump is all the way up to my boobs!). Funny that the Chinese found favour in your stomach (in both ways!) - Zorba always has a little burst of activity too when I eat a meal or drink something sugary.

Steph - yay for DH having felt both babies kicking now! I hear you on the big baby front - let's you and I just pray for average sized babies, OK? I'm starting to get worried about the labour - some days I feel confident that I will be able to cope, and other days I'm a bag of nerves and terrified of how long it may last and how painful it may be if (as feared!) Zorba turns out to be a big one. Should have married someone smaller and shorter than me...no thinking ahead, that was my problem, lol. To answer your question about lactating, no that hasn't happened to me yet (although I've read it's very common) but my nipples are started to get a lot bigger, changing texture (if that makes sense) and getting more sensitive, so maybe that might start for me soon. p.s. I'm getting really angry on your behalf at people just taking advantage of your and DH's generosity and good will. And not even to bother spending the time being friendly first, before asking for what they're after, that's so rude. It's that kind of thing which really makes my blood boil, I can't stand it when people don't show even basic good manners and politeness. p.p.s. If you know of a way for me to participate in the shower idea or a cash pool for all my friends across the pond, let me know, as I'd love to...

Angela - oh honey, I understand how frustrating that med stuff would have been, and not what we need at all with hormones rampagaing around our bodies as it is... Nope, the antenatal class was the first in a series of eight. I went to the second one yesterday which was for the women only (we talked about perineal massage, pelvic floor exercises, tearing/episiotomies (SCARY!!!) and generally the stuff which you might not feel comfortable talking about in front of other men you don't know very well) and tonight is the third one for everyone. Some of the information is a little scary but overall it's better to know a bit more about what's in the future (for the time leading up to the birth, the birth itself and bringing a newborn home afterwards) and also to spend time with women who are all at the same stage of their pregnancies. Lots of comparing of bump sizes going on, lol!

Sara - Jake and Delaney are great names, are you still debating on others or are those the two you're going with? My heart broke to read about your friend's baby, what a dreadful thing to happen.

Karen - good to see you checking in and to hear that everything's going OK - I think about you a lot, particularly as you and I are probably going to be fairly close in delivery dates (assuming I'm likely to be a week or two late with a first singleton, and you're more likely to be a couple of weeks short of 40 with twins). Although having said that, I've just checked katie's list and I'm not sure now - if you're due on October 4th and I'm due on September 7th, that's only 4 weeks apart, but your ticker says you're at 23 weeks and I'm at 30 weeks, so that's 7 weeks apart. Which is correct?

claudia - good luck for your next appointments tomorrow and Thursday! Looking forward to seeing the baby bump photos... Hope you had a good weekend doing everything you'd planned, notwithstanding the World Cup result for USA! DH was a bit depressed in this house with the England result on Sunday too...

AFM, the weather in the UK is still pretty hot, and I'm getting a bit fed up with it. Normally we can rely on the UK summer to produce non-stop rain, but apparently not when you're 30 weeks pregnant! Sod's law... I can't believe my 'week numbers' now begin with a '3', OMG... Soon I'll be counting down the weeks in single digits, yikes!

Sara – I might have missed your previous post. What happened to baby Noah? I do agree with your decision not to attend the funeral. I think that you are such a considerate person to think of their feelings and emotions during such a tough time.

Gi – that is exactly where the baby is moving around and kicking. If I wasn’t just pregnant last year and know what the feeling was like, I probably would mistake it for gas or something else but it’s definitely her moving around.

Hazel – I agree those classes provide so much information and sometimes too much info to make some people a little scared or apprehensive. I thinking of my DH … we will attend similar classes in the near future and he probably will be very overwhelmed! He almost passed out when he saw the birth of Ashley. Of course, we didn’t take any classes beforehand so he was unprepared. I have seen several births in nursing school so I was prepared. So we will see …

Stephanie, Natasha, Claudia, Karen, Emerald, Katie, Babyluv – I hope you ladies are doing well and your bundles of joy!!!

AFM – I am doing well today. I was a little sore after my u/s yesterday … she is getting so big that they are becoming a little more difficult each week. I can’t believe it will be week 15 for us.

Angela - Sorry you are sore. I know what you mean about not much space. The last time Andrew and I had play time he was umm.. not complaining that he couldn't really fit. lol I know, tmi but I can definately relate. :) YAY for hitting week 15... almost halfway there! I am doing well, thanks for asking. Belly is huge and sleeping is not tha comfy but I am ok. Still loving every moment I get to feel them move. :)

Hazel - I am hoping for normal sized babies. lol I don't think they will have much choice being that there are wo in there. I am sure the growth will slow down because of the restriction, not just space but fighting for nutrients and such. I just hope they will make it far along enough to be ok. Don't worry about labor. It does hurt, of course, but if you can handle a contraction, you can handle delivery. In my opinion, delivery was a breeze in comparision to the pain of the contrations. Then once you meet Zorba you will feel like you can run a marathon. lol The adrenaline you get after is amazing. I remember telling everyone right after Alex (doctor still in the room after delivery) I feel like I could do cart wheels! Thanks for being so empathetic about the neighbors. I really expected a difference here since the saying in the south is how great the "Southern Hospitality" is. I haven't really witnessed this.

As far as the shower or cash pool goes... I think we need to know what everyone else thinks so we can gather a list of those who want to participate. Who is willing to give their real names and addresses in order to do it? How would it work as far as the currency goes? I think we need to all agree on an amount and send everyone that amount (or equivilant to for like you and Gi). Do we all get a registry of at least a few items just for us to choose from and simply buy that item and mail it? Or just make a list and post it for those who aren't doing a registry? I need input! lol Worst case scenerio, I will be PMing people and asking ideas of what they need. That way if someone does or doesn't want to, they can tell me privately. At least I will have made an effort. :) Feel free to PM me if you want to let me know your info so I can send you a little something for Zorba!

Gi - Ahh... it's coming back to me now. Thanks for repeating yourself for me. :) I find that my memory really does suck lately. lol That is a pretty name! Alex is very excited about the adoption, even meeting the judge! She has been calling herself a Ford for quite a while, but of course she can't exactly have that fly at school where she has to write her real last name. So this next school year and from there on after, she can use Ford and she is over the moon about it. As far as your kicks, they normall are very low. Even now, most of the kicks I feel are down low where my pubic bone is. I am sure they are still breech because I don't think they are punches. Sometimes I will push down there and I will feel the kicks slide across my fingers or get a knock type of a kick. I am sure what you are feeling is your little Kayla!

Sara - I have a feeling I will better answer your question on Friday. lol I assume they will start seeing me every 2 weeks from now on, but so far I have not been told so. I have only been to my ob twice believe it or not!! He wanted to see me every 5-6 weeks so Friday will be the 3rd time I have seen him. I assume the doctor doing my u/s's is a perinatologist, but I could be wrong... he could just be the HR OB at the hospital. I was thinking earlier today how I want to ask once and for all what his job title is. I see him every 6 weeks till birth. Seems you are getting a lot of attention and I wish I was too. If my ob tells me Friday to come in in 5 weeks I am going to smack him. I know that since this isn't my first baby and since they twins that my risk of dialating early is inevitable, not to mention they I would think they need to keep a close eye on the previa. Even with Alex I was 2 cm dialated early, (they ended up inducing me just to control the birth). So I know I need those once every two weeks visits. Not sure if they will send me to the other doctor (HR OB or perinatologist?) more often for more then just the u/s's or not. I am completely clueless, but plan on asking a lot of questions this week! As far as the single cord, I am sure it is of no fault of your own! Sometimes these things just happen, just like bleeding and previas. She will be fine, your doctors are staying on top of it and making sure she and he will both be prefect. :)

Katie - Glad everything is looking awesome with baby Ryan. I am sure the wait till the next u/s will be torture though. At least you know that everything is perfect and there is nothing to worry about. I don't miss doing the glucose test. I have tried all three types (or the ones I know of). I will list them in order of dislike to like. If you have a choice in what kind you drink, maybe this will help. lol The clear is absolutely the worst in my opinion, my guess is that they mixed this one with a Sprite or 7-Up type soda and I am not a big fan of clear sodas. This one took me the whole 15 minutes to get down. If you are, you might like it. 2nd worst, the Coke type colored one. This wasn't tha bad but definaltey was no fun to chug down in less then 15, but I did it. The last one, the orange color. This one tasted just like orange Fanta. lol I was able to drink this one like a regular soda with no suffering other than a strange after taste. I hope I get a choice when I go for my test! So are you serious... you haven't gained any weight? I bet you are going to lose that 30 pounds of cycle weight after she is born. lol So how are you feeling? Any answers on your headaches?

AFM - Had a few people over Sunday. Three girls from my old neighborhood (one that I just started to get to know) and their men. It was pretty awesome. It was just what I needed to feel human again and feel like I have friends. They all want to secretly plan a back up plan for the shower just in case my neighbor doesn't come through. I definately felt the love. lol We made it simple, just had a simple BBQ, chatted and then watched some sexy on tv. lol That's what we call watching True Blood on HBO. :) There is talks about doing it once a week too so that would be nice. I never get to hang out or go anywhere so that would be nice. I hate feeling like a hermit.

On a sad note... I just found out that my grandad is dying. After my mom died in 1998 the family went to shit basically. I started to be judged by most of my family and that judgement was that they didn't like me. So they kept from me for the last 5 years that my grandad was sick and in and out of the hospital. This time he has been in for a month and just today I get the call saying he won't last the day. Thankfully my cousin's husband made the effort to contact me or else who knows if I would have even been told after he dies what happened. I didn't hold anything in though... I vented because I feel that their hate for me has robbed me of a chance to say goodbye. If I would have known sooner, I could have had a chance to talk to him while he was still coherent. However, he is in and out of consciousness and not really aware of what's going on. I asked him to try and get the message that I love him anyway. He doesn't even know if my grandad has been told I am having twins. I would think that he would have loved to know since my mother (his daughter) was a twin. He and my grandmother had my mom and a boy named Kenny (Kenneth) however Kenny didn't make it past 24 hours. So now I am having boy/girl twins and no one bothered to tell him? Not to mention I JUST spoke to my one cousin within a week because she is the one who confirmed the spelling of my grandma's name (his wife who passed). I know the family knows I am pg with twins, my one cousin still keeps in touch with me spite what the family says about me, she is my mother's sister's daughter and they live right next door to my grandad. Not to mention I know they look at my Facebook and such... that is how they decided to tell me by the way. I got the FB message saying it wouldn't last the day and asking to call. It's hard to explain what I am feeling besides such unexplained anger for them to be so selfish. All I can hope for is that they do tell him how I feel and that he happens to be coherent enough to hear it. I know that I have to get over the anger, it's not good to feel this way... but I know it's also part of the stages of grieving so I will let it pass and forget about them. It's just sad that this is how it had to be. I still don't know what I did to deserve such hate... I was only 19 when my mom died of cancer.

Stephanie - I am so sorry to hear about your grandfather. I became more and more upset reading how your family is treating you. We are only here for a short period of time and I think that type of behavior is ridiculous! Whatever happened or they think happened when you were a teenager should be forgotten!

I know how you feel in regards to your granddad. I lost mine in 2005 and I still cry for him today. I miss him so very much … I still have the urge to call him when something good happens to me and then I remember he’s gone. My family is actually from Texas, so every time I see your state in your profile it makes me smile because I immediately think of him and our good times! But, I want to tell you that I feel your grandfather knows how you feel. He realizes that you love him and he will be watching over you and twins along with your mother! Please don’t let your family make you feel bad, they should have told you about his health.

Sometimes, I take comfort in just saying my feelings for my grandfather out loud and I believe that he can hear me. Please know that we are here for you as you have been here for everyone else!

Hi All !!

FYI, the amnio went OK ( did feel the needle STING...) but it wasn't as bad as I expected it would be. The good news is that its TEAM PINK for me :D Yay ! I'll get The actual Test results in 2 weeks so it'll some anxious 14 days...m scared/ nervous but until then m going to keep smiling thinking of my Baby Girl :P

Nanine Hi and Congrats on ur Triplets ! Such beautiful names, good to know all of u are doing well and will be home soon ! Take care and God Bless :)

Katie wow! That's a looong time for a next appt. But hey the good news it that all is well and that's why u don't need the monitering :) Good thing u've that doppler at home. What did the dr say abt ur headaches ?? Good luck for the GTT. I already have been diagnosed for GD so have been on Insulin shots since a month. Btw what does AFM mean ? He he...I searched a lot but never got to know what it stands for !!

Angela Good to know ur u/s went well..and sorry ur sore. Yes! I do have a Lab. They are the best dogs u can have. Very loving, friendly and just adorable :) But lemme warn u they all FULL of Energy and do need A LOT of Exercise & good training right from the start to avoid disasters (BAD chewing habits). We got lucky with ours - he is a real good boy :)

Stephanie Sorry to hear about ur Grandad. You have to know u've done nothing to deserve such behavior. Please take comfort in knowing he sure knows how you feel and that your having Twins. You still can say things aloud and he CAN hear you. He Loves u and will be looking down on you and your family... Good to know u had a great time on the weekend with the girls from ur old neighborhood. U mentioned u dont get to go out anywhere..is that cos u're on bed-rest ? I am in the same boat...m stuck at home ( resting cos of Previa) so does get boring..plus with the whole IUI/IVF process I never got to keep up / hang out with friends...so have none now who can stop by. I am so glad I found all u girls here :) BTW I do like the idea of Shower for all of us and wud like to participate. Do lemme know what u girls are planning.

Karen Hey thanks for all the good energy for the Amino..the 2ww is bad. Atleast the procedure and u/s went OK. Hope ur back aches are a lil better. Hey u in northern NJ - me in Central :) U bet it is HOT and I hate it!!

Hazel, Babyluv, Gi, Sara, Claudia - A big hi to all of u and hope all is going well at ur end too!

Had a question about feeling movements/ kicks. I have started feeling something lately which I thought were flutters..but everytime I feel those its not something soft I feel a bit of pain! Its almost startling and then a lil painful. Are those kicks or something else ????

Big hugs to all (and the babies) - hope u'll have a Fabulous week! What plans for the Long WEEKEND ?

Hi everyone -

If I have to cut this short its because that means the cable guy finally showed up - the darn internet is cutting in & out all day argh!. Ha Ha Steph, and you thought Time Warner sucked, i'll say that cablevision is no better. They said they fixed it after I accidentally cut the outside line with the weed wacker - last spring, but it hasnt worked right since then. Anyway, so after 2 headache free days, I was woken up at 5am with another one and throbbing temples. The OB had told me its from hormonal influx and that I shouldnt just suffer through it and to break the cycle with tylenol (uo to 4x day if needed) and if that doesnt work to take advil, but only if desparate and NEVER in the 3rd trimester. So far I've taken 2 tylenol and all it did was take the edge off. sigh

So it looks like we will finally get the office and soon to be nursery switched, painted and maybe even get around to finally picking out a crib soon. Chris has decided to use next week as vaca time ( yeah, right some vacation spent lifting furniture & painting wheeee) so I can stop stressing that we are SO NOT Ready Yet! He asked me last night how I felt about the name Charlotte and I said I love it, but I thought we decided on Ryan??? I had to remind him that if I wouldnt have gotten pushy when Gracie was a puppy that she probably STILL wouldnt have a name! I do have some reservations on using Ryan since it seems to be a real popular name for boys, but does he really think that we'll have the name of the week contest??? ARRGGHHH I told him to just pick one and stick with it already! MEN!! So its still Ryan, but with my husband you just never know - big sigh

Angela - Oh honey I'm sorry that you've been struck with these annoying headaches also. My OB did tell that I was being "silly" when she asked how long I've had them? , I said about 5 days, she said have you taken anything for them?, I said no, she told me I was being silly and to not torment myself by trying to just ignore the pain. What has your OB had to say on the subject? I'm glad that Gabriella is doing wonderful and how lucky that you'll get to see her on weekly u/s!!! I'm jealous of that!

Sara - That was very thoughtful of you to not go to Noah's funeral, I mean if it were me, I dont think I could have handled the sight of a pregnant belly just right then. What an awful thing to happen. How are they holding up? And yes, I am happy to have my OB call me "boring" hee hee, especially since I believe my RE used to tear his hair out when reading my chart! Boring is good. How are you feeling twin mama?

Gi - I have the same even now that its harder than just flutters. on some days its an all day wriggling and kicking fest - and then some days i'll just feel a few little nudges, taps. I think they just have more energy some days?? Oooh, you're lucky to not have the heatwave that its been over here. I picture Ireland as cool and green and beautiful. Aaah, maybe someday I'll see it with my own eyes. Say hi to your Mam -xoxo

Claudia I cant wait to hear how your appts go today & tomorrow! hey what happened to the pics of the cutest bump in the world?

Hazel - i'm so glad that your dad is in good hands, I sure hope the meds agree with him. yes Mum! you sure are getting close now, i'm having the same fears of laobr nyself, I hope we get through it easy. I'm a total wuss when in pain. I'll be a MUCH nicer patient after the pain meds kick in thank you very much. - haha How is the nursery coming along? Have you and your hubby completed your list of names yet? I wish you luck to stick with one - unlike my hubby's indecisiveness (sp?) And no Chris is still too slow to catch the kicks of the little Rockette so far

Ack the cable guy is finally here - Steph and Emerald I didnt forget you I cant type that fast!! back when he leaves!
