July Cycle Buddies-FET anyone?

Hi, I'm new and will be doing a donor embryo FET at the end of July. Anyone joining me? I'd love some cycle buddies!

Ew..ew...me...me...me...LOL.

We have done three cycles and got a BFP the last time (April '09) but lost our baby in the first trimester. We have three frozen baby's we are using in July....we're very excited.

Never done the FET before but I'm glad it seems WAY easier and faster.

Starting Estrogen and baby asprin today....Been taking Prenatals and DHA for about two months now.

Maybe I'll be joining you, depends on my stupid AF turning up some time in the near future!

Doing FET after OHSS put a stop to ET after the fresh cycle in May.

Yeah..It's nice to "meet" both of you. I have my (donor embryo) FET scheduled for July 28th. I'm a little bummed because of the quality of the embryos (all "fair" quality). However, I've resolved myself to the fact that I'll likely have to go through up to four cycles (my max before I give up). Best of luck to everyone!

Jenny, I know exactly what you mean. When we did our third IVF we produced 6 decent embryo's. (I have a very hard time creating the eggs...I max out on meds). We inserted the three best and froze the 3 with the least quality...but still good enough to freeze. So I'm kind of in the same situation. We have resolved to the fact that this may not work but fingers crossed. This is probably our last shot since I will be 39 in a few months and my ovaries are just getting worse and worse.

I'm super cranky, nutty, ready to kill, yet AF isn't making her anticipated arrival. Looks like I'll be FET in August at the earliest!

Starting 2nd IVF cycle this month. Unsuccessful attempt in May. Hoping new med (ganirelix) is the trick. Has anyone else used ganirelix? Any side effects to report?

summit- i used ganirelix twice & the only side effect was stinging & redness at the area of the injection. i gave them myself into the belly. lots of luck on this cycle!!!

Hi Everyone,

I am brand new to both the forum and IVF. I've read through many different sites and attempted to get up to speed on all the lingo, but have a ways to go. Please bare with me

I am 26, my husband is 29 and we've been ttc for at least 6yrs now. I have a DD from a previous and much younger relationship and have tested to have no problems. My husband has tested with severe low sperm count and IVF plus ICSI are our options. This is my first cycle and I'm excited yet a little nervous about what's to come with the entire process. We Jace decided to go through this process semi-alone (me, my husband, and God.. So technically not alone ), so I thoughtit would be helpfulemotionally to join a community of courageous women going through the same thing.

I'm currently on BCPs and have my ultrasound to begin injections and my IVF nurse consult scheduled next week on the 8th my FET is tentatively scheduled for 8/1 day 3 or 8/3 day 5. I hope to stay updated on others progress and share mine along the way.

Hi girls,
Can a non FET girl join the July Cycle buddies???
I started injections on the 1st and hope to go "egg op" on the 13th..if all is well and goes as previous cycles.
Its my 5th and final stim cycle-see signature for a run down on my journey.
Two questions..because Im a newbie to the forum hope someone can share their thoughts with me on
1-Does anyone use Luveris...??
2-Anyone use donor sperm..?? this may be our next step if this cycle fails

Sure! Well, I can't help you on the meds question. But I can address the sperm donor question. As a single mom, I've been down this road a lot. There are several great banks out there. I've used Fairbanks and Northwest. The price can really vary, so I'd definitely look around.

Hi Ladies,
I would like to join the group. My name is Jessica, I am 25 and my husband is 26. My husband has no problems, but I have PCOS. We went through our first round of IVF in April. We had 12 eggs at retrival. 10 Fertilized. All but two were AA quaility and the other two were AB quaility. We transferred two perfect embryos. So I was sure it worked. However, I started bleeding very heavy about 4 days after the transfer. All at home pregnancy test that I took said negative, and I was sure AF was here since I was still bleeding. My dr had me come in a day early to confirm BFN with a beta test, but it came back at 19. It then doubled twice and then stopped. Our pregnancy ended in an ectopic pregnancy and took about a month and half to resolve. We are now scheduled for FET transfer for July 26th. My hopes are not as high as last time as it just broke my heart when it didn't work out for us! Through my last cycle I spent hours reading messages on this site and finally joined!

Hi Jessica. Welcome back. I too had a horrible miscarriage with the first embryos out of this batch. Hopefully this will be our time. It's my last shot. My insertion is the 16th.

So....here's to it working this time for all of us this time. Cheers to the frosties!!
