I had an embryo transfer 3 weeks ago and didn't get pregnant. I had a followup w/my RE on Friday and I asked her what the quality of the embryo was. She told me that it was "arrested". I'm confused, I thought "arrested" meant "dead."
What do you think about this? What was the point in transferring an arrested embryo?
Thanks for your time!!

In my clinic, arrested means it stopped developing but the cells are typically not dead. We never transfer an arrested embryo.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
