Betas slow with FET? - Finally Rising Update!

Post by DandMe »

I'm a little concerned... although my doctor said he was pleased with the rise and it's within limits. I sure do feel pregnant... very tired (going home from work to nap - I'm the owner so I can), feeling emotional, sore boobs, etc.. and getting a little worse each day. But I'm still a bit nervous about these numbers... Should I be?

I know we're not on the homestretch, but my beta doubled in less than 48 hours - I am estatic!

Sonya -

A late congrats to you honey! Sorry but I've been really busy lately. I completely understand why you feel concerned but your numbers look just fine. FETs do have lower, slower numbers. Mine were very similar to yours at 11dp5dt (16DPO) I was at 153. I know the wait for the first u/s is so hard, but you'll get through it. Pop over to the winter thread anytime you want, I've missed you and have checked your blog since your last cycle. Sorry to hear about your sister, I cannot imagine how difficult that was on your entire family. When is your u/s? hopefully soon, I cant wait to hear! - xoxoxo

Sonya,

I so agree with Katie! Your numbers are in a normal range and doubling. If they weren't rising as much then maybe be worried, but you had a FET and like Katie said, they can be lower beta numbers. I saw you had a faint line (that I could see) at 5dp5dt if I am remembering correct. That is a perfect time to get a positive result! That's actually when I got my first faint line. Stay positive, this is it! We are all here for you rooting you on every step of this journey! :D

Katie... I am so emotional right now... do you know how many times I've told your story to people... I am so thankful for your blessing. My numbers were better when I did my IVF in January - but I knew something was wrong and it was a blighted ovum. I feel confident about this pregnancy, but my numbers are lower... thank you so much for answering!! I will pop over to the winter thread. ((hugs))

And... thanks for the kind words about my sister... it was a very difficult time...

Dear Sonya,

Don't be nervous. I too had a FET and a similar problem. To begin with my numbers were low and then the doubling took time. But eventually it caught up and then all was fine. It probably is the case for most FETs. I am sure it'll be the same for you. So don't stress ( I know its easy to say) just staying Calm can do wonders for your body! Good Luck and see u soon and the Winter thread! ( I actually did see ur message there just a couple of mins ago..

Emerald; thanks for the vote of confidence! Every time I see posts like this I get hopeful. I did go in for another beta today at 19dpo and am hopeful for the results. Thanks so much again. Oh, and major congrats on your upcoming due date!
