Ghost or anyone-exercise and stims

Post by Klm »

I finally got the go ahead to start my stims this morning (Bravelle and Menopur). The nurse said they encourage exercise in preparation for this process and it was ok to exercise during stims. I forgot to ask her if I could do sit ups and push ups. I am sure over the next few days I will probably figure out the answer to this question on my own as I begin to feel more aware of my ovaries/feel more bloated. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight on this. Thank you.

My clinic allows normal exercise during stim (sorry, no marathons). Check with your clinic to see what they recommend.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Klm – My RE said to limit exercise to anything that would cause me to jar my ovaries too much because during stimming your ovaries become very, very swollen and heavy and they can twist off blood supply, which can lead to a medical emergency. So no running, jogging, or sit ups, lifting anything over 5 or 10 pounds, so not weight lifting, etc. Walking was ok. But, you should probably clarify with your RE to see if there are specific exercises he/she wants you to avoid.

My RE told me the same instructions as Angela's. I also was careful with the pedicure chair because of the jarring. But my first IVF I wasn't told this til my second week of meds...either way, I got BFN. :( I would be safe and just walk as my RE suggested. My ovaries really didn't hurt or give me too much trouble either attempt maybe a small amount of bloating. Good luck!!!
