Just went for transfer this morning. We transfered two day 5s, which are I guess actually day 6s now since the thaw. Anyway, will go in for b/w next Friday!
Anyone else taking the not so lovely progesterone crinone cream? Used this stuff back in '07 and let's just say it's ew ew ewwww! Better than having to do the PIO shots, but still...yucky-ville!!
Glad your transfer seemed to go well. I am starting the PIO shots on saturday and having my transfer next Thursday. I asked for the shot vs the cream b/c I didnt want the mess twice a day. Get some rest and I send sticky vibes your way!!

Thanks KatieG! Good luck to you this weekend! Who will give you the PIO injections? Just like some of the other girls on this post, I feel like this cycle/process is way less involved than a fresh ivf cycle. It all happened so fast, & I kind of feel like I cheated a bit - if that makes sense?

Soccermom-- My husband will give me my PIO shots. He did it during my fresh cycle in 2008 so it should be ok. As far as the FET and feeling cheated I totally understand. I keep telling myself that it is normal protocal and that I am in good hands. It just feels so weird not to be monitored all the time. It almost doesn't feel like I am about to try this next HUGE step in our lives. I had zero coverage w/ insurance with the fresh and FET so it makes me really nervous and thankful at the same time that I am able to have an FET b/c I there would be no way we could do a fresh cycle again.

I don't know if it's the progesterone twice daily, or the estrace 3x/day, or if I'm just plain lazy in the summer (I don't work in the summer)...but I am just plain exhausted! I'm getting a little too used to taking a 2 hour nap in the afternoons when my daughter naps! I feel like I owe it to myself and these lil' embies to rest as much as possible. We had a miscarriage back in Feb & I'm just trying to do everything in my power to come out with the best possible outcome. That said....do you think the half a bag of doritos helped last night? lol! I'm not normally a junk food person, but I had to pick up baby aspirin yesterday at the pharmacy & those chips were calling my name.
KatieG - good luck starting the PIO shots tomorrow!
Jencas - Congrats on the BFP!!!!! Keep us posted...when do you go in for an ultrasound?
We are off to the beach on Sunday for a relaxing week - I'm hoping there is wifi so I can stay connected with you girls!
soccermom I too have been sooo tired. I was not like that at all durning my fresh cycle. I also didn't take estrace so I bet its that. I have not been doing anyhting extra. I have been watching tv and taking naps during my sons naps. I was telling my DH but now I can show him your post so he believes me . Have a great time at the beach.
Hey Krissy!! Good luck w/ your shots. They are not bad at all. The needles are so small. Keep us in touch w/ how it is going.

Well unfortunately my number dropped to 18. The nurse said it could go back up but pretty much at this point it looks like its not a viable pregnancy but I still have to cont with the progeterone shots and my estrogen patches. At this point it seems kind of pointless to continue with it all. I go back on Monday for more bloodwork and talk to the dr. I know that I should be happy that at least I got pregnant but right now I'm not feeling so positive.

Thanks KatieG...I am on Day 5, had sono today and they saw approx 30 follicles. Estrogen is at 387 and now have to take Cetrotide. So far so good but DH says NO to putting two or more in because he already had two kids...not sure what to do about this...any suggestions?
Oh Jencas75 I am so sorry to hear about your numbers going down. What did the doctor say on Monday? Is there any good news? It is sooo hard when you find out you are pregnent and then it disappears in two days...doesn't seem fair. I will be thinking about you.
egg retrieval tomorrow with only 4 eggs available only on the right ovary, and nothing seen on left side (must be hiding in organs) excited but anxious that only 4 follicles and not sure how many eggs...hopefully all of them will make it..crossing my fingers and lots of prayers!
