jenice wrote:I also been having some trouble falling back to sleep after my am pee. I think it is just a way to get us ready for our future of really no sleeping, when our babies arrive I know with my DD every 1 1/2 to 2 hours she woke up to be fed. Sleep deprivation brought to a whole new level, but totally worth it. Plus, it only lasts like that till around 6 weeks, then they might sleep a whole 5 hours straight, YEAH !!!!! I always thought that was the hardest part and it just got easier after that I have my US on tuesday, been having some nausea and sooo tired but it is all good
Jenice I love your lovely sense of humor and your enthusiasm is catching... don't stop! How are you doing? No more bleeding. Happy about your ultrasound coming up - jealous - you're ahead of us all! I'm still having some nausea, but it helps a lot if I am reasting and eating normally. I own a busy shop where we do both retail and manufactor, so it's very busy and stressful when I'm at work, and today has been my first day off in nearly two weeks. I'm realizing how much easier it is on me to be home and taking it easy!

I had my second beta today (21dpt3dt) and pulled out a 7522 coupled with a progesterone of 104. I am really happy with the numbers. Wondering if I may have 2 in there?
My RE has said I now dont have to take any progesterone pessaries or any other meds for that matter so I am now completely natural. Has anyone else's clinics done this?
How is everyone feeling? My US is for not for another 2 weeks. Do you actually see anything at this scan or just hear heart beats? When can you tell how many you have??

Those are super high betas - good for you! the only way you'll have twins is if the one embie split - which does happen. You'll see how many are in there when you get your scan. It's neat to hear how other clinics do things - everyone I know stays on progesterone until around the 10th week. You had a fresh cycle, didn't you?

I think I am in a similar situation as you my first beta 10 dp 3dt was 28 and today 2 days later it is 46 so what does your RE say about this? Mine just said that as long as the number rises it is ok but I am still worried. Do you know much about this?

I know that bigger betas are more comforting, but don't mean as much as we think they do. As long as the numbers are rising, the embryo is growing and as long as it's growing, it's on track. Try www.betabase.info for some reassurance. You are a little slow, and a little low, but you are still within range. Did you do FET or Fresh?

I did a fresh and every step of the way this process has been like this. At first I was over-suppressed with Lupron and we could not get my estrogen to rise at 7 days of stimming it was 98-can you believe it but it crawled up. Next the doc told us that we only have 4 follies and that he is dissapointed and it is up to us whether to proceed or not to ER and now we are miserably low here and I just find myself so warn out and constantly in tears I just don't know what to make of it. I searched the web and most websites claim that slow rising hcg most often result in pregnancy loss and I am just beside myself.

Hey............ you have a postive pregnancy test. You have SOMETHING to hold onto.... and yes this journey has not been the easiest for you, but I did your numbers on betabase and you are not that far off. With my low numbers I went to a site that was huge (can't remember it now, honestly) and found tons of women who had low betas and were fine. You need to remember that late implantation can make a HUGE difference in those numbers - so can the time of day you get your betas at this early stage. Your numbers are doubling less than 59 hours and anything under 72 is considered acceptable! I know this is hard, believe me, I am waiting for my ultrasound and I am scared... but I have to remember that there are thousands of women who would love to be scared for an ultrasound. Focus on the fact that you have implantation, that you have rising betas.... and people who are here to support you. What's the next step? more betas??

Well, my RE told us to continue to have intercouse through my natural ovulation time and then did the transfer a couple of days later. So there is a chance that we concieved one naturally and the embryo transfer stuck. If there is just one, we will never know if we made it naturally or with ivf. It was a FET not a fresh.
I am nervous to stop taking the pessaries so I am going to keep taking them until I run out.
I have super sore boobs now but no real sickness which is good. How are you travelling? Is your scan this Friday?

I'm just wondering how things are going with you guys... the thread has been really quiet! We should have some pretty big news in the next few weeks... ultrasounds, etc....
I am getting my ultrasound tomorrow and I'm so nervous. I'm hoping with all my heart that I am still part of the group tomorrow night.

Dandme-- I've been thinking of you and your ultrasound. Mine is on Mon, July 26.
To be honest, I haven't written anything lately because I am having anxiety about the ultrasound. Been having unwanted flashbacks too. I didn't have such a good experience the last time and my doctor has said that the 9-10 week period will be crucial for me. I am trying to relax and to think good thoughts...I've been sleeping a lot too-- naps in the middle of the day. It is a blessing to be pregnant, yet my past experience keeps surfacing in my head.
That was then...this is now.

Sonya - OMG, I'm so sorry. I read what you wrote about PGD. Maybe that will help. I saw on a tv show this woman had one child then had 3 miscarriages in a row. Even though she would get pregnant on her own, then she did IVF I think she did PGD cause they found out it was 23 chromosomes instead of 24. They had a baby girl. I am so sorry, I know how excited you were. I can't imagine .If you ever want to talk PM me, HUGS.
