AFM - I did my first shot tonight. 450 Gonal F and 150 Menopur. If this cycle is like the last, I should have my ER on August 5! I can't wait!!!

Lauren--Looks like you're on your way to getting started. Maybe the spotting was from your ultrasound? I do I feel better about being upset with my RE yesterday. I know I'm not alone now. I called today and they said he was out today, but would call me in the morning. At least your RE has a group to discuss your case with....there's only one at my office. He's the only one. I am having a couple of consults with other clinics soon...just to explore my options.

Didi-- Hopefully the job-hunting is keeping your mind off of waiting. Good luck! Are you going to POAS?

Tammy--Sorry to hear about your insurance problem. Sometimes it's about getting the right person on the phone. I'm praying they will straighten it out for you soon. Don't get discouraged.

Hi All,
Hope everyone's having a nice summer day. I'm still in the hurry up and wait world. We have to sign a new batch of papers at the RE's office before the start the next cycle. I'm waiting for my period so they can do the testing while I'm there signing everything. Never thought I'd be anxiously awaiting that to start. Getting cramps. Should be anytime now.

Karin- Sorry Hon. I was still hoping you hear some good news. Hey rant anytime. This whole process can be frustrating and add all the drugs to the mix. It can make even the strongest freak.

Kim and Amanda- Congrats!

Franny- Don't freak. It's just a dream. Remember all the drugs we're on. I'll bet they mess with everyone's mind at times. Take care and stay positive.

Lou- So happy the drugs have arrived. Hey, can't have my blond sis stressing anymore!

Miyaya- I just love your name. So much fun to say.You got a baseball team growing in there. Good luck!

Tammy- Im listening! You have my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there! It's probably some stupid mistake. We know ins. cos. make lots of them. When I was getting braces at 44 they told me I wasn't covered after I just called and they told me I was. They had my husband listed in the wrong catagory. The ortho was on the phone for a half hour straightening it out. I think they just do those things to keep us on our toes. You definately don't need that right now. Take care and stay strong.

Tammy - I really hope they resolve your insurance issue today! Our insurance covers absolutely nothing for infertility, but we knew that ahead of time so we've been saving up for months to pay for everything. For you to get that unexpected call when you've never had an issue with the insurance in the past is terrible! KUP!

AFM...My DH and I went to RE yesterday. I had a mock transfer done which went well. We also signed all of the consent and were taught about injections. I am continuing BCP and I will start lupron on Saturday. I'm nervous, but excited to get moving.

good morning everyone!!

thank you all for talking me off the ledge! it was just a really vivid dream and it shook me up. did you ever have a dream that felt so real that when you woke up you thought it really happened? i've done it before where i had a dream that me and DH were fighting and i woke up all pissy at him for no reason. it takes a while for that feeling to go away. anyway the dream kinda reminded how it felt to get a BFN, and just the thought of it made me really sad and scared. you guys really help though. i'm so glad to have you all here for support! it helps more then you will ever know. we are so lucky to have each other!!!

lou i'm sooooooooo glad your meds came!!! wooohooo!! trust me, i am the queen of med problems, and pharmacy mess ups...so i know how stressful it can be! now you can relax and get yourself ready for stims!! 2 more days!! that is great news about your base check! lots of good follies ready to explode! now they need to behave themselves and wake up!!

tammy ya know what i hate more them meds screw ups?? insurance screw ups!! and the fact that its insurance screw ups over meds....OMG!!! i really really really hope everything gets fixed today! i know all too well about how hours of your life can get sucked away from phone call after phone call to get these things straightened out! i'm sure everything will be fine, but its still soooo stressful and scary because its soooo much money!! when i did my first cycle a year ago i got a letter from my insurance company saying they cycle was denied (even though it was pre-approved before even starting) but when it was over they decided not to pay...it was a nightmare and i had to talk to a million people to get in fixed...it ended up being coded wrong!!!! grrrrrrr!! sooooo annoying!!

lauren congrats on the new job!! 10 antral follies is good! you are exactly right...those are the ones they are going to wake up! are you on the antagonist protocol again? i cant remember...or are you doing the estrogen patch first and then the antagonist? if you are on the patch first then the point is to save those first 10 antral follies and trick your body into keeping them, and then adding more from the next cycle...so you have a stock pile!! haha i dont know if i explained that right. i think its normal to spot on estrogen, but i'm not sure. i think you have to keep those passes to the movies for your 2ww...trust me it helps a lot!! i'm so excited you are on your way!!

didi that is soooo crazy that you had the same dream!! they are evil arent they??? soooo not cool! i like your idea that we got our BFN's out of the way in our dreams so that we can get our BFP's in real life!! how are you doing? any signs or symptoms yet?? i'm here for you...even though i'm losing my mind!! hahaha! stick embies stick!! xoxo

oh and the eggplant is just an old joke between me and claud from our last cycle. she ate it the night of her ET, and got a BFP, and i stole her idea because i thought it was adorable...ya know...egg...plant!!
the pineapple is an old wives tale that claims eating pineapple after an ET (and more importantly the core of the pineapple) helps thicken your lining! so a lot of woman do this...ghost says there is no proof that it really works, but i like pineapple so why not right??

to everyone i missed i'm sorry, but like always you are all in my thoughts and heart!!

afm i woke up this morning and (tmi coming sorry...) when i wiped after going to the bathroom there was some light brown cervical mucus on the TP. i wouldnt call it spotting because it wasnt really..it was just cervical mucus, but the fact that it was brownish scared me. do you think its just from the PIO and the estrogen i'm taking or do you think its a sign of bad things to come?? man i hate the 2ww!! well actually as of today i only have a 1ww left!! the longest week ever i'm sure!

LOL Franny. I thought maybe you were just really really mad for me. I just got a phone call that they are over riding everything...so I am holding my breathe that when the pharmacy runs it through for the 5th time...that it actually goes through. I am expecting a call from them anytime now to get my CC info for the copay. Fingers crossed as I hold my breathe!
Also, Franny...it could be implantation spotting. Not everyone gets it...but it sure sounds like it. It normally occurs 1/2 way through your 2ww. Sooo exciting!!!

Franny-I know I always tell you this but spotting is not necessarily a bad thing!!! You are definitely at the point of implantation and it could also just be old blood being rejected. Only half way there and you are starting to enter crazytown so you must pull back!!!! Going to acupuncture during the 2ww helped calm my nerves as well as watching tons of junky TV shows!! love you and can't wait for you to join me on "the other side"
