Hello. A huge welcome to Gen! What a great group of gals here. I think you will be right at "virtual" home:)

Annashope! :D :D :D :D Congrats on a great beta! And you are so lucky they are going to do u/s next week. Whoo hooo!

Sonya~ I cannot wait to hear the news. Hurry up already! I hate waiting. Just kidding. But I am so thinking of you. :P

Lou~ I say go for the beer! I know I plan to before harvest!

So I sit here patiently waiting for my daily results. SNS went well this AM. While I do not know what was on my left, she said I had 10 on my right side between 15-20mm. Lining was 11. Is that too thick?????? I know my left has more on it so I expect about 20 good follies. I am positive I will trigger tonight. Just waiting for my trigger time and ER instructions....wait, wait, wait...I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering if anyone had the chart that shows what happens after the transfer? the last cycle one of the girls had a chart that explain what happens when. I don't remember the name of the chart, but it tells you when implantation occurs after what day you do a transfer. I really would like to look at it again.

so my spotting has gotten worse! very heavy light brown when i wipe. trust me ive been running to the bathroom every hour or so to check...up still there.
i broke down crying into DH's arms. pretty sure the game is over for us. the last 2 cycles i had the same exact thing happen to me and both were BFN's. usually the spotting started around day 10 until beta..lucky me it started yesterday at day 8 so i get to have a week long of torture.
after a year of continuous IVF cycles i am defeated.
i dont know why i cant get pregnant. its the worst feeling in the world.

Franny- I am so sorry :( I have no words to say. Have you taken a HPT? I know some women have periods while being pregnant. I know that doesn't help much.

Franny - I'm so sorry you keep having to go through this. I'm going to keep sending positive vibes though and hope it's just some implantation spotting.

Annashope: That's great news!!! I'm so happy for you :) How did you end up going days before me..lol I go for my 3rd Beta & ultrasound on Monday.

GoGIrl: Welcome!! The meds can be very overwhelming. I felt the same way I was so nervous for any side effects but I have to say I did really well. You will get trhough it. It's a sense of accomplishment & purpose!! Good Luck to you!!

Miyaya: That's great you have that many follies!! I wish you all the luck!! You may go for ER this weekend!! Good Luck!!

Turtle: I'm so sad to hear, I just hope like other cases it's just bleeding from implantation!! This is such a hard process please don't give up!! I do wish you all the best to help you through this time & I hope all positive good things!!

I can't believe how many people we've told already. My husband has spread the word around. I'm alittle worried this is so new. The problem with IVF is so many people know what we were going through that as time goes on they would ask anything yet? I wish we had the oppurtunity to hold off alittle more. But the word is out. I would like to know if any of you told plenty of people like us when you found out your are pregnant too early on?

Franny-is there a way you can call your RE and get your blood levels/hormones checked out? Both cycles when I spotted around day 10 my progesterone levels were low and they increased my dosage. It didn't mean I wasn't pregnant but it did help my levels go up and I still spotted till week 11. I know how discouraging it is and seeing that blood is the worst feeling so just know I'm here for you. Love u

Franny, I am sorry hun. I can only imagine how you are feeling for you. I truly hope this is your cycle and its just some spotting....like someone said, some women have spotting and periods when they are pregnant. I would not worry unless its bright red....it could just be old blood or a hemorrage on your uterus etc....maybe???

Anna~we too told everyone about BFP when I was pregnant with DS. I had hoped to hold out for a bit but when it came down to it, we just blurted it out. I guess my thoughts at the time were, well if I tell the people that support me and care, then they will be the people I want to support me if something happens....congrats!

well my RE called and we have 24 follies. e2 was 1893. so we trigger tonight at 7PM and will have a 38 hour harvest. He called himself as he is worried about OHSS so told me to gatorade up and to eat 30+ more grams of protein each day. ER will be Sunday at 8AM. I am so nervous and so excited all at the same time. While I dread the pain of ER, I so hope this will be worth it. Thinking of you girls.

Hi ladies-- I am just checking in to say hello and to say that I am cheering all of you on!
An update: My first ultrasound is this Monday...these past few days have been difficult b/c I am nervous. Haven't told but 3 or 4 people our news. Trying to meditate, relax, and distract, etc. The last vaginal ultrasound that I had when pregnant was the awful one when they told me that there was no heartbeat any longer (a missed miscarriage). Despite my optimistic nature, I've been having terrible flashbacks, but keep telling myself that EVERY pregnancy is different. I keep doing breathing exercises, doing the positive thinking approach, and trying to be optimistic in my outlook. I made an appointment for the acupunturist and I am going to counseling in a few weeks...

I am a person of faith, but my past experience keeps invading my mind.
Please keep hubby and I in your good thoughts-- he is nervous too. He remembers like me.

Hi everyone

Franny I am so sorry you are having to go through that I don't even know what to say. Just know that we are all here for you and spotting does not necessarily mean it is over even though I can understand why you feel the way that you do. I will keep you in my prayers sweety

Sunshine and stars- I promise you and hubby will be in my thoughts and prayers. I know exactly what you mean by being a woman of faith and still having the past experience enter your thoughts. I am in the same place and trying so hard to keep the faith

AFM So I went for my 3rd beta and it is 148 up from 46 on Monday. At first the nurse called and was very optimistic and said that beta was good and was rising and that progesterone was went up to above 40 from 28 and so we will be doing an ultrasound next Friday. I was soooooo excited and overjoyed. It has been so touch and go and it felt like finally maybe we could think like we are really pregnant.
But 3 hours after that my RE called and said that the beta is still low and that he was not too optimistic for this pregnancy to progress normally.
I am trying so hard not to let that get to me since I have heard countless stories of lower betas being ok in the end but it is so hard!!!!!! I just don't understand why the negativity since we are still doing an ultrasound in a week. Ugh! I feel like this will be ok. I can't explain it but I feel like this baby will prove him wrong.
He said he felt we were now almost 6 days behind but I don't understand how that works since implantation does not occur on the exact same day for everyone

Sorry I just had to vent
